161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin Bullrun on: May 19, 2019, 06:36:36 AM
There is still plenty of time to know if the market is recovering or just by the fomo sharks. I see the current news as credible as corporations are gradually joining the blockchain. But they are just getting started and I don't think that makes the market recover as quickly as it is today
You are talking about the fundamental progress of altcoins. But it will not be as fast as we would like. By the time the cryptocurrency is recognized and will become an great part of the business, there will be several more large pumps.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON to soon displace ETHEREUM? on: May 18, 2019, 07:46:30 PM
White Paper plagiarism during the ICO, stolen files from ethereum project... at the same time, too ambitious plans. Be that as it may, the tron is simply incomparable with the ether. This is a chinese fake, successfully hit with the help of hype.
But I would not be surprised if this ever happens. Because everything is possible in crypto.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now the time to buy ALTs? on: May 18, 2019, 05:50:38 AM
Now that the correction has taken place, at any + for prices on Bitcoin or Ethereum, the altcoins react with good increase. Therefore, it may be a good time to look into altcoin.
If the leading coins save the recent bottom (after the correction) and continue to grow, then this will be a great time for the altcoins.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Germany's First STO - Your thoughts? on: May 18, 2019, 05:35:22 AM
Germany or STO...
However, this is a credit platform. Until now, such projects have not been successful. And this is understandable: there is still a small adoption, so people use cryptocurrency not enough and do not create a large cash turnover.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC price is much more important than USD price on: May 17, 2019, 06:56:51 PM
This is what I said about ethereum all the time. Most of the time from February there was a drop in ETH/BTC. At the same time, the price of the ETH/dollar has increased. Now, when the price of Bitcoin corrected, ethereum is experiencing a sharp decline in price.

Nevertheless, I believe that the price analysis should be carried out both in relation to the underlying asset of the industry, and to the dollar. The reason for this is that the cryptoindustry is not yet self-sufficient.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: altcoin growth too slow? on: May 17, 2019, 06:22:22 PM
The market is currently red and it makes my wish to see crypto skyrocket delayed again, but I'm sure that the market will recover soon so I will buy potentially rising altcoins such as ethereum, Binance and Litecoin,
the market movement still continues to decline slowly, if you have the desire to buy it would be better if you see the movement of asset prices in the market first, because there is a possibility the market will continue to decline again, and if you have reached the bottom you can buy the assets you want .
The increase that occurs in bitcoin makes the price of altcoin itself actually able to rise as well. but the control of the increase in bitcoin is very large in my opinion making altcoin actually decreased due to many people making sales and converting their assets to bitcoin.
However, the growth of bitcoin is necessary. At first it will be at the expense of the altcoins. Then the rise of BTC will attract new money. First, they will buy BTC, then the investment will come to the altcoins.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Keeping the heat out, summer time mining... on: May 16, 2019, 11:59:17 AM
[cut out]

Miners almost never use air conditioning in their homes. The reason why is because it would use too much power and make it unprofitable. Even if the profitability was very high and the air conditioning only was a small fraction of the cost, then it wouldn't be able to keep up with getting all the heat out if you had massive amount of GPUs.

The best way is to have an intake and exhaust type setup and have good ventilation. It might be hot and unliveable in that room, so you will need to sleep elsewhere but the GPUs can survive higher temps than humans.
Yes, you are right, air conditioning is expensive. But there are such cases for the GPUs.

In this case, the mining farm should not be located in the room. In addition to excessive heat, there may be electromagnetic radiation, which with prolonged exposure can cause some disease.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Proof-of-StakeWork for miners! on: May 16, 2019, 10:51:09 AM
Yes, I meant the basic organization of mining for all coins. If the miner has the ability to do staking, it will save the price of the coin. If miners gain an advantage for the staking (for example, double reward for newly minted coins), this will increase the blockchain's resistance to attacks.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: altcoin growth too slow? on: May 16, 2019, 07:09:06 AM
Yes. In other words:
The rise of BTC will return the confidence of many investors and attract new ones. Then they will begin to pay attention to the altcoins. This is a slow process. Will have to wait.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Hits $270: $300 Next? on: May 16, 2019, 06:46:47 AM
Yes, a sudden sharp rise scares after a +two-month drop for BTC. I will be more confident in the ether when it exceeds the level of 0.035 BTC. How much it will be in $ does not matter.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Keeping the heat out, summer time mining... on: May 16, 2019, 06:38:04 AM
Good work. You have spent some time and money on this.
But was it not easier to install air conditioning? In the summer, the costs would increase by some amount (power for the conditioner is more than for the fan). At the same time, the air conditioner can dry the air a little.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH vs BTC on: May 15, 2019, 11:37:13 AM
Do you think ETH may outperform BTC in the next bull run?

No. I don't think ETH would outperform BTC on the next bull run as crypto still is the synonym of Bitcoin for more than 50% of crypto investors.
The adoption of alts are increasing but not as rapidly as the price fluctuation and lurcative chances of profit of Bitcoin investment.
At the moment ETH seem to have gaining better growth but in a larger picture, BTC has gained more marketcap increase than ETH for this week.
I think that this is the main factor of the bitcoin leading. And it has the opposite effect. Those who understand the technical advantages of altcoins will still have to choose Bitcoin as their main investment asset. Since everyone starts with BTC, most of the money is in BTC, and this will continue for a long time.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Proof-of-StakeWork for miners! on: May 15, 2019, 11:28:13 AM
Well, well, this is what I was waiting for. Perhaps in the future it will be further improved, so that a small amount of energy is consumed for both the PoS and the blockchain reliability for PoW. PoSW as the type of existence of the blockchain looks the most attractive of all existing at the moment.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ethereum will rise again. on: May 15, 2019, 10:44:39 AM
There was a significant drop for BTC. Now we see some recovery. I admit, I'm surprised. It looks like a correction in a downtrend. While I do not expect that the ethereum will begin its bull run in satoshi.

176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's time to buy altcoins on: May 15, 2019, 10:29:19 AM
Most of my altcoins fall in price. This intensified when BTC grew even faster. The reasons for this are clear. I was thinking about selling for BTC, but nothing about buying at this time.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your definition of shitcoin? on: May 13, 2019, 01:09:06 PM
For me the cost does not mirror the estimation of a task, there are numerous potential ventures on CMC however with low costs. That doesn't state that those activities are shitcoin. Also, the other way around for expensive ventures does not mean they are significant. To assess a shitcoin you should concentrate on the esteem, the genuine use of the undertaking can enliven. Survey future advancement potential, if an undertaking does not meet the abovementioned, it is shitcoin.
That is why it is sometimes difficult to determine what it is. If we turn a blind eye to the FA and rely only on TA, then what difference does it make: is it a shitcoin or not?
Technical analysis allows you to make money regardless of whether a quality asset or not is used as a trading tool.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Investors need to face reality on: May 12, 2019, 05:23:02 PM
These kind of movement (slow and steady) is more advantageous for us if we look at it long term. A sudden increase of price within a short period of time will probably end up the same like last year's ATH where many investors got burned thinking bitcoin will continue to rise indefinitely. Now people are accumulating coins are knowledge, so I prefer the situation now.
It is even better if the price movement corresponds to the development of the project, whose asset is being researched. This may be the true value of each coin or token.
Until now, prices do not correspond to the true value. This is the result of hype or panic in the cryptocurrency market.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH is making some noise in the crypto market on: May 11, 2019, 07:09:35 PM
Oh yeah, when there will be a bitcoin correction, it will be painful. Many altcoins today fell to ETH and BTC. Ethereum has raised a bit, but for a couple of months it tends to decrease vs bitcoin. There is still no new money on the market to increase overall capitalization.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The beginning of the bullish trend in the crypto market on: May 10, 2019, 02:25:45 PM
I also believe that after breakout through the level of +6K, an uptrend will begin. But not at once. We need consolidation of more than 6XXX Grin. It takes time. Maybe more than a month.
If the correction occurs within a certain time, after which the price will be above 6K, then the beginning of the uptrend can be considered valid.
