161  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the day trading profitable ? on: November 05, 2019, 10:02:38 PM
I am prepared myself for trading. But i need some suggetions from here. There are many way for trading in cryptocurrency. But i need correct one which is profitabe. I am prepared myself for day trading. Is it profitabe?
How to do it properly is the question here. I mean, not the expert here but had tried some daytrading which recently turned out as a cool idea.
Watch market, educate constantly and use whatever saves your time to make thoughtful decisons.
Not the easiest job but worth it!
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoins for 2020? on: November 05, 2019, 09:58:54 PM
Which would be the best and most preferred altcoins to invest in the year 2020?

It was Ethereum and Ripple for the year 2017 and 2018/2019 had been bearish without any particular altcoins to be preferred we have seen almost all the altcoins going through bloodbath except few exchange tokens like BNB but which will be the most profitable altcoins for 2020? Will it Ethereum again or some other altcoins like litecoin or BCH or Ripple?

Agree, it really depends what will happen to the market as a whole. Alts will follow BTC if sky-rockets..
Definetely holding BTC for sure and will stick to prefered alts: XRP, XLM, NEO, NWC.
Lets see what happens Smiley
163  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tools/apps to manage portfolio? on: November 04, 2019, 01:40:09 PM
But anyway, the top portfolio trackers are Blockfolio[1] and Delta[2]. If you really want a "manager" though, whereas you can trade on that app via exchange APIs, then check out TabTrader[3]. I really haven't used TabTrader though, so do your due diligence.

I’m just using number one and number two and two from your list.
I use blockfolio to track the value of my assets, the application does a good job of this task, has a good interface, and quite capacious functionality.
I also use the BitUniverse application, as it provides a convenient widget for the phone, however, it did not fit to track the value of assets, because it does not display all the coins I have.

Checked BitUniverse but prefer Blackfolio, better interface.
Friend recommended Newscrypto platform (free tier avaiable), some of tools look really promising but didn't have time yet to explore everything. I've posted a topic about using such platforms as guidelines but most of replies didn't show same enthusiasm.
Either way, everyone prefers its own strategy.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHEN ALTSEASON? are we waiting for nothing? on: November 04, 2019, 01:24:27 PM
When BTC more than $20K again  Grin

Seriously, nobody really knows. I remember people saying alt season will start upon EOS mainnet launch but that never happened. Now, some are saying XRP will rally the altcoins and it doesn't look like it's going to happen.

If you ever plan to go with altcoins hoping there will be an alt season, stick with the top 10 or top 20. Don't expect a 1000X or more from relatively unknown alts.
good, when is the altcoin session? when the BTC session is over and the BTC is above $ 20K. don't expect altcoin sessions to start now. because some pumps from altcoin are just a FUD. and it will not start an altcoin session. still enjoy before bitcoin starts and ends sweetly. and when everything starts, please take your actions.
Will prob happen when BTC hits ath. Impossible to say of course.
Alts i bet on: NEO, XRP, XML, NWC...
Hope for the best!

166  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the day trading profitable ? on: November 01, 2019, 10:00:11 PM
Yes it is, if done correctly of course. Daytrading is a way of life and it's not the easiest job you know.
Did it for 2 months but didn't turned out as planned. I was using tools on sites like Blackfolio/newscrypto etc. Will probably get back to day trading when i stop working.
167  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tools/apps to manage portfolio? on: November 01, 2019, 09:52:04 PM
Which ones do you recommend and why?
If it's possible those which aren't too expensive..
Appreciate the help!
Which aren't too expensive? So you mean paid apps? Why would need to pay if there were free to be used which is more better than to those paid ones.

Ive been using Blockfolio for how many years already when it comes to tracking prices and some glimpse or check out with CMC then its already
and enough thing for me.
I meant paid apps. So many people mentioning blackfolio, will try it out.
Thank you!

Since you have mentioned "which aren't too expensive", are you looking for a service or program instead that will manage your portfolio literally like you will do nothing just funding e.g when to buy when to sell, etc.?

If you are a beginner in this trading field, you need to work manually to see how trade should be done. Those sites mentioned here by other responders will help you to track what you need* but not it will literally do the work for you.

If you have any specific concerns, just post here.
I'm running really short on time so i'm more looking for a service to manage the portfolio.
Would definitely rather learn trading on my own but...when time comes.

Which ones are you using and why?
177  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TRADING TOOLS? useful/useless on: October 28, 2019, 04:02:23 PM
That will depend on you because we had a different perspective. Trading tools for me are very useful, coin tracker and I am using blockfolio app and trading tools just like an automated trading bot. I used Gunbot and it works fine for me. If you are good at technical, fundamental or what so ever analysis wou will know these tools may a great help for you. Probably you need to study very well first before in trading because it needs more knowledge to understand the crypto market.
Gunbot looks interesting, pity they don't offer a free package since i can't afford it at the moment...
178  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ARBITRAGE FOR ''BEGINNERS''? on: October 28, 2019, 03:46:33 PM
Arbitrage is a trading style which needs lots of time and experience.
I beg to differ. I think all it needs is luck.
You find a coin being sold cheap on exchange A and bought expensive on exchange B. All you have to do is to buy from A and sell on B and hope that no one fills the buying orders before you.
What about fees? So if i understood correctly:
1. I buy X coin on exchange A
2. Transfer this coin to my wallet (or is it possible to deposit this coin directly to exchange B)
3. Deposit X coin to exchange B and sell it

Thanks for help, i feel a bit ashamed questioning this but better be safe than sorry...
179  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ARBITRAGE FOR ''BEGINNERS''? on: October 28, 2019, 03:43:36 PM
As i beginner i meant someone who's been trading for around half a year now (not day-trading).
Are arbitrage tools necessary or do they just make your life easier and which sites offer them?
Arbitrage was never to interesting to me but i've talked with a friend who's making a decent profit out of it (at least that is what he said...)
Thanks for help!

Crypto markets are generally very liquid and there is rarely an arbitrage opportunity.

If there is, then usually it is due to some form of friction between exchanges, whether it's withdrawal issues, deposit issues, wallet maintenance etc. You'll likely see plenty of good arbitrage opportunities on paper on small exchanges, but either they have a lack of liquidity or there is no way of getting money in/out of their exchange, so essentially they're a closed system.

I wouldn't recommend buying arbitrage bots either. The profit margins are low and your coins can easily get stuck at a particular exchange without human intervention in the process.
Thank you for explanation! If i got it right you advised me to stay out of arbitrage (tools, etc..) till i get more knowledge about trading...correct?
180  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ARBITRAGE FOR ''BEGINNERS''? on: October 28, 2019, 03:37:55 PM
If you see a opportunity then just grab it which is the basic rule of arbitrage,I am not much sure about the tools and guides needed for it because the price change is constant and profitable changes in prices on different exchange may not happen everyday.

And you even didn't tried to day trade which is more risky but arbitrage is riskiest form of any trading methods.
These answers really helped a lot! Found a platform which offers inexpensive arbitrage tool (locked before you pay) at Newscrypto. Is it worth or should i try some day trading first?
