161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will still be my choice this year. on: April 14, 2024, 01:50:03 AM
I don't always focus on any other altcoin except Ethereum and BNB investment. Because there is no guarantee of other coins within altcoins. Investing in other coins carries a higher amount of risk. Alt coins other than Ethereum and BNP are mostly seen as investment scams. So I am not at all willing to invest in another altcoin. To protect my investment funds and get good returns from investment, I would like to keep investing in Ethereum as my best choice this year too.
Investing in altcoins is high risk but ETH and BNB cannot be excluded in this case. ETH and BNB are the top altcoins and they have good strong support in various aspects which has caused their prices to skyrocket. But investing in them also carries high risks. you can look at today's market and you will see how much the price of all coins including BTC, ETH, BNB have dumped so those who sell their coins today will definitely face losses. so I believe in the concept that long term investment can bring a good profit with any coin investment not only ETH & BNB. apart from these, there are many other coins in the market which have a good market cap and have been in the market for a long time. so they can also be invested. But one thing is that in order to invest long term you have to trust a coin first or else you will panic and quickly panic to sell.  So who invests in which coin and for how long depends on how much one can trust which coin
162  Economy / Reputation / Re: There is an abuse of merit on: April 14, 2024, 01:29:49 AM
Icefrag merit sent by hashuna

I saw LoyceV bro post this from Merit earn from there. I gave an ID check, and from there, I saw how Merit got 50. I saw that a low-quality post was given 50 merit points. The account that gave the merit last posted on August 6, 2018, at 01:25:54 PM, then did not post again and became active on January 25, 2024, at 12:14:41 AM. The account post looks like it's a purchased account. The account has changed hands.
My question is, how do I give 50 merit in this simple post? Merit is given to those who post good quality standards, but it is seen that merit is being misused. Merits are being offered to random posts that need to be noted. They are trying to grow new accounts using multiple accounts.

It is a complete abuse of merit. But even though you have posted it here for a long time, no action has been seen from DT members against it so far. Many have discussed here but no tag has been given for such abuse. 50 merit per 1 transaction on a Newbie account means the same person is managing both accounts. And now many signature campaign slots are seen empty for Full Member so it can be a plan to get full member rank quickly and join signature campaign. Another funny thing was that the Merited post was the last post from that account and since then that account has become inactive.  But here also the link between these two accounts is found that both accounts are inactive then the question is if these two accounts are not managed by the same owner then how can their activity be the same

166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I just woke up and saw wins in my gambling app on: March 09, 2024, 11:16:04 AM
I know this is not a new experience for many old gamblers that has been into gambling, but for me it's a new one, I've played a game over a week ago and I didn't even bother to check cause I never expect it to play out or let's say I mostly forgot since it was a busy week, just yesterday I logged it to check out the booking code my friend sent to me so I could fund my account and try it, the nest thign i saw from sporty was a win on my screen, I was shocked thinking it as a network glitch or something then I went to check my balance I had just won some cash, I was happy.

And worst of it, I never expected that game to play it was a rare case of I just tried my luck.
It was nice experience for you and your great luck. Winning at gambling is really a matter of luck, this luck doesn't always work for everyone. It was a good moment for you anyway.  Gambling is good for fun but not a deep addiction. You can enjoy gambling if you get the chance but you should never take gambling as an addiction. And seriously cannot deposit large amounts of money from own pocket. If you do something like this, you will not be able to make any kind of savings for yourself, on the other hand, you will suffer a lot financially
This is exactly what I tried to make him understand. Because gambling will never give anyone a regular chance. Gambling is a very critical thing that depends entirely on luck. Without good luck, you can never do well in gambling.  There are many gamblers who gamble regularly with the hope of winning something big.  But unfortunately nothing big can win.  For this gambling is foolish to take seriously and it is guaranteed that a serious gambler will suffer huge losses.
167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 09, 2024, 11:10:44 AM
I thought Australia would take a 150+ lead in the Test match between Australia and New Zealand but Matt Henry bowled brilliantly and was trapped for 256 in Australia's first innings. Matt Henry took 7 first innings wickets against Australia.  New Zealand are batting in the second innings, their score is 122/2. New Zealand still lead by 28 runs. Kane Williamson is out for 51 runs. Tom Latham is still unbeaten on 59 and is trying to pair with Rachin Ravindra. I think the third wicket pairing will depend on which way New Zealand match go on. Only nine overs left to bowl. I think tomorrow's first session is going to be very exciting.
Australia is much ahead of New Zealand in terms of runs in the first innings so there will be no problem if Australia plays a bit badly in the 2nd innings. But if New Zealand has to win the match then they have to collect a lot of runs. New Zealand scored 132 for 2 which is quite a good performance.  They need to collect at least 350 runs then they can have a chance to win the match. Otherwise Australia will beat New Zealand. Australia is a top rated cricket team so they play very good cricket. So New Zealand probably won't win this match
168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If we lose in gambling, what do we need to do? on: March 09, 2024, 11:04:43 AM
I also lost money because I lost on gambling, but maybe not that much. But I know there are people who spend a lot of money for gambling. In your opinion, what should we do if we have lost a lot of money on gambling? Do we keep gambling to win so we can cover up previous losses? or stop and work normally and leave gambling? Or do you have other suggestions?
If after gambling losses you continue gambling to recover those losses then it will be a wrong decision for you because recovering gambling losses is not an easy task. Because no matter how accurate your predictions are, if you don't have good luck, you will never win at gambling. Gambling is totally dependent on luck so gambling should be used only as a source of income and not as a source of income and should be taken a break from gambling when gambling losses occur.  Then it won't make you too addiction
169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you blame someone for your gambling losses? on: March 09, 2024, 10:56:39 AM
am a fan of luck because I don't feel comfortable when a gambler tells me about his losses. Although every gamblers are not the same like others. My reasons for this comment is because 4 different gamblers might gamble on the same sport match but only 1 of them will win. All gamblers have their own pattern/strategies of gambling, so naturally, gamble is made from luck.

No one would feel comfortable always or love to hear negative news from people unless you’re one who loves to hear bad news about people and that would show the type of person you are.
I’m also not a fan and quite tired of hearing about people talking about their losses. I’ve also heard tales of people recounting their losses and most of the time, they are quick to point the blame at others and fault their losses on the actions of someone or something else. It’s always crazy how people are quick to claim all the glory when there are wins but quicker to absolve themselves of any responsibility when there are losses.

Every industry has such people that tend to escape a single bit of responsibility. They took the decision and action and end up complaining. That doesn't set a good standard for a competent gambler. It's an aspect of gambling behavior, which isn't, completely, traced to addiction. Non addicts, can act in the manner. Individual differences are close factors that causes this behavior. The gambler can be the type who play victim, in all his life moves. And exhibit similar character, as a gambler. Hence, the habit was awarded to him by a different factor, could be upbringing. Although, it's tiring to consistently receive complains on things you don't want to hear about. Shutting them up, politely, can help reduce the complaint. Closely watching over the gambler is vital. He can be a treat to himself, not sure, if he had a listening ear.
Gambling is not a skill or a job or business that anyone can blame for its losses. Everyone knows that gambling is a very risky thing. And here there are lot of chances of losing, everyone goes to gambling knowing this so if someone loses in gambling then he can't blame anyone for it. He can only blame someone when someone asks him to gamble at a specific site and guarantees his profit but he loses by going there. But everyone should have a common sense that gambling can never be guaranteed profit. So he has to understand it and trust others
170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 09, 2024, 10:50:36 AM
Nepal Vs Hong Kong
The only T20 match of the Hong Kong Friendship Cup faced off  Nepal and Hong Kong. Nepal won the toss and elected to bowl first. Hong Kong scored 45 runs in the power play but lost two wickets. It looked like their score would be between 180 and 90, but Aizaz Khan & Hayat put on a 38-ball 95-run partnership go to Hong Kong at 212. Hayat in particular played a brilliant innings of 110 runs off 49 balls with 13 six and three fours. Nepal got off to a good start as they set a target of 213 runs. After team's 117-run, Rohit Paudel's out for the third wicket, no batsman could convert the runs into double digits. Nepal lost 7 wickets to get the next 22 runs, they were all out for 139 runs. Hong Kong won by a big margin of 73 runs.
Hong Kong played very well and set a target of 212 runs against Nepal.  A target of 212 runs in a T20 match is a very high target.  It is difficult to collect such runs in just 20 overs but Nepal managed to do so by taking advantage of Nepal's weakness.  Nepal lost the match by a huge margin. Nepal collected 139 runs and won the match by 73 runs.  It was a very nice match, it is very good to see such a performance from Hong Kong.

Gambling can suddenly win someone sometimes it depends on luck and sometimes gambling sites deliberately win customers to lure gamblers to become regular gamblers on their site. So we should not be too happy for these wins it makes us more addicted to gambling. And a person who becomes addicted to gambling and takes gambling seriously and plays regular gambling is bound to become addicted to gambling. and gambling addiction = big loss
172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: March 08, 2024, 05:52:20 PM
Very strange to see Barcelona playing a friday game for LaLIga, anyways i think is good to see La Liga defending his teams and making them reach the CHampions LEague game of the next week with good days of recovery, in the end if you want more spots on europe you need your teams to do good in that competitions.
Barcelona's next match is against Mallorca. this is a big opportunity for them because it is easy for them to win this match and if they win this match they will overtake Girona and reach a good position in the points table. Girona's performance is now very poor and they are slowly losing their position. Girona was in 1st position and now they move to 3rd position. So this shows the extent of Girona's decline. however this is great chance of Barcelona team to achieve good position on point table
173  Economy / Gambling / Re: Share trusted VPN Friendly crypto casinos on: March 08, 2024, 05:41:07 PM
If we are to even consider the replies on this thread on recommendations for the platforms that accept the use of VPN, I don't think there are suggestions made and if any at all, they are not many, gambling platforms don't usually demand or take in the use of VPN for their website, but Incase we see some that allows for that, maybe they are just new in the business or doesn't have enough resources to employ for the measures that take care on that.
I used this site stake.com through vpn but didn't face any problem. But I personally don't recommend anyone to run any site using vpn.  Because using vpn is very risky, any company can restrict the account if they want, because I have not seen permission about using vpn in their TOS. so I would say that sites which can be accessed without vpn should be used for gambling and should not be used for high amounts because gambling should only be for fun.
174  Economy / Economics / Re: Isn't it all about money? on: March 08, 2024, 05:35:17 PM
At one time I thought Money may be nothing but you can have more things in life than money, but if you consider the current world situation it can be seen that if you do not have money then you will not get any value, even your family and no one can see you.  So if you have enough money then you will see that you have everything. Money plays a very important role in every person's life and apart from money you must study to gain knowledge. If you have both then your life will not end happily.
Yes, nothing is possible without money in life. Life is stagnant without money. And work hard for money. Money is needed at every stage of life. So I would say money has no alternative. Money is a must in all cases and no time of life can be wasted carelessly. Build skills and earn money at any cost. No one will get anything as a substitute for money.  Money is necessary to survive so I agree with Ward that everything depends on money
175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are people still using bitcoin ATMs? on: March 08, 2024, 05:11:45 PM
Hi guys,

I've been long fascinated with bitcoin ATM machines and love to spot them wherever I go traveling but haven't seen one for a long time in New York – are there any of them left in the city at all?

I keep hearing anecdotal stories of people using them but wonder if they are still considered a good way to buy bitcoin, given the steep fees these machines often charge.

Have you ever used a bitcoin ATM in NYC?

I have not had the chance to use Bitcoin ATM because ATM is not yet available in my country. Bitcoin's ATH will take a long time to roll out globally. However, if the ATM is enabled, it will be possible to remain anonymous when someone goes to cash out bitcoins from the ATM  So in decentralized things I don't like to reveal my identity. So I am not interested for ATM.  For that I am not enthusiastic about it. But it would be great to see if ATM is available around us
176  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving don't make wealth on: March 07, 2024, 02:42:18 AM
Sincerely the concept of savings has made some persons poor, but many won't realize the fact that saving don't make the difference but investing does.
Am not saying saving isn't good, but my point is saving doesn't make one wealthy, the worst advice we recieve is  'save for tomorrow' but only few lay emphasis on the need to 'invest for tomorrow'.
So I would greatly say we invest some of our profits from bitcoin in to other stuff, than just holding it or using it for pleasure. The rare truth is how we believe bitcoin can change the game, so other systems are developing so we shouldn't be blindfolded.
Invest because savings doesn't increase or builds, investing is what gives you the life you want.
   Let discuss this guys..
No matter how many bitcoin you hold you can still misuse the money, so we should understand the concept of Richness and Wealth.

Savings keeps one's wealth stable and sometimes reduces wealth and the reason for wealth decline is inflation and that is why instead of saving money should be invested in a potential asset that has the potential to increase as well as maintain wealth. Inflation is increasing day by day due to which if one is saving in FIAT money then the value of his savings is decreasing every year.  So savings should not be given too much attention.  Everyone should always keep track of where to invest according to their wealth.
177  Economy / Gambling / Re: tell me the best online casino on: March 07, 2024, 02:34:52 AM
What works for us perfectly may not be the same way applicable on others, this is one of the truth about gambling, we cannot avoid things like this, while sometimes we get the best recommendations from our colleagues and friends or through the social media platforms on the best offers to go for in crypto casinos, everything is under mixed reactions as we keep getting contrary opinions from different people, but we are the one to make decision on what we want.
And that is why there is no best casino in anywhere and the casino that you win and love is the best casino for you. Because if someone recommend a casino for you and you are not familiar with the games and the methods there then you will be losing games anyhow so the best casino is the one that favoured you and not from the recommendation Board. Though it is good to use a recommended casinos for security but when come to the best we done have it. Or any casino that have your requirements to play gamble then should be the best casino for you.
Yes I agree with you because the best casino is when one can win well on a site and when one has good luck with a site then that site is best for him. But one site doesn't work well for everyone. So the same site will not be best for everyone.  For this, everyone should test their luck by using small amounts of gambling sites first. and then decide whether he should continue using that site. this is how everyone should choose their own best site
178  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you want to see in casino reviews? on: March 07, 2024, 02:30:46 AM
I like review sites that actually show the positives and negatives to each site. Most review sites are just ref sites.
well this is the same reason why only few of us  tries to listen to review sites nowadays
because we knew for a fact that they are just a referral or a paid shill, they are the literal advertiser
of each sites that can pay their talent fees.
so why need to support each of them when so very few that they realy give honest reviews
or sometimes unless they are attacking one that they will out negative reviews on them.
That is the greatness or ingenuity of a casino in inviting everyone to play on their site, instead of hiring several influencers to help promote their site well and even prove to be good at things like that.  So it's not surprising that casino owners or founders have their way of advertising their casinos to people who may have a lot of followers.  So don't be surprised if more and more people will become familiar with gambling and there will be many more active users there.
Yes casino sites tailor their marketing strategy by targeting major insurers and promote their sites accordingly to attract gamblers. Because it's their business. and there are many reviewers who give good reviews to sites in exchange of money or any other facility and do not hesitate to keep them in the top position in terms of reviews. So you should not always choose a site by looking at reviews from review sites. And when starting gambling on a site, you should first test the site by using small amounts to see if the site is comfortable for you.
179  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io| 💸Join BetFury Crypto Staking |🔥Get the highest APRs up to 170% on: March 07, 2024, 02:24:20 AM
BFG didn't perform extremely well to my mind. I don't know what its price was during the ICO era but according to coinmarketcap.com, Betfury's price in 2021 was 0.029$ per token, now it's 0.017$. In the last month, it didn't increase in price, it's going up and down, on average, the price is the same.
BFG is definitely not a bad investment, it gives you up to 50% APY. APY up to 50% is an amazing promise and it's even good that price isn't going down that much to make your investment wasted. Btw my favourite coin remains Rollbit Token.

The Betfury team launched the project in the fall of 2019 i.e. after the ICO era. Since the launch of the platform, the BFG token had a mining price inside the platform. It is worth noting that the BFG mining price was different at the time when the BFG token was split into two sub-tokens (BFG(BTC) and BFG(TRX)). However, if we talk about the starting price on exchanges, it was 7 cents when the BFG token was listed on Biswap.
With the bad market conditions, the BFG price started to drop day by day and the token started from 7 cents to now $0.018 which has gone down from that. the BFG site has been in the market for a long time and we have known about it for a long time. Their casino platform is still good enough but the price of tokens has dropped a lot although this is not a big problem as their tokens have not vanished so far despite being in the market for a long time. they still survive on the market
180  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: March 07, 2024, 02:18:43 AM

Are you sure it's not mentioned on their ToS, or you didn't/forgot to read the updated ToS when they required KYC after some time? Because casinos should be transparent with their ToS since it's their defense legally especially when they ban their users. If it's not on their ToS then asked KYC, then again, they deserve negative reputation on any platform as well as negative tag in this forum.

If it's not on their ToS, they can update the TOS since the same TOS allows them to make appropriate modifications and updates whenever necessary. Do you know users who review the terms of use, especially if they use the service without problems?
It has become an open trick: platforms offer users tempting and attractive terms of use during launch. Users use the platform for a relatively long time without problems until they are satisfied with the quality of service. Then suddenly problems begin under the pretext of suspicion of possibly tampering with the system or attempting to deceive. All of them are legitimate arguments, and on the basis of them, the argument can be given for updating the TOS. I am here offering my opinion in general, and I do not have specific information about Bitser’s situation in particular.

We should not picture this as a problem erupted from the gambling platforms, for them to be able to provide the gamblers with a free service without requesting for kyc from the start is only an indication for them on being loyal and considerate and this shouldn't be taken for granted by gamblers anytime they make up with their decision on requesting for kyc, we already know that they are such they demands on kyc and we should also be in preparedness towards providing them with every necessary requirred information.
i find it wrong because if the casino is Honest enough to provide better services then they must
indicate the need of KYC from the start and now when the players started to deposit and win and when
there is a need to take their money for withdrawal then they will bring burden asking for KYC? that is
unethical way of dealing with players and an obvious way of fooling if not cheating they players.
Imagine they will allow you to deposit without any question but after winning they will implement
such verification? that is for me a complete stupidity.
Casino sites allow new customers to deposit without KYC when they make a new account on their site, as this allows new customers to have a new experience gambling on the site. and when they win something big or want to withdraw their deposit amounts then they are asked for kyc verification because then they are required to do it. This is a strategy of casino sites because customers will not want to use the site if they are asked for kyc upon account opening.
