161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][OC] Orangecoin - POW ENDS SOON!!! - MINE WHILE YOU CAN on: May 06, 2014, 12:48:04 PM
Hope everybody comes back mine again:-)

What 's the profit like? Can anybody tell this?

At the current price it is about half as profitable as mining litecoin.

52% to be exact

It is along term investment. When the coins are mined they have one year 20% POS; then 5% and 3,65 % for the further years.

I know, that is why I'm mining it.  I was just answering his question.

My deposit finally went through at Bittrex as did a follow up deposit.  They are up and trading.

This coin has the potential to be a great coin and I just don't want to see it die from incompetence and mismanagement.

I'm leaving for now.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Clean Water Coin | $2,000 Donated to Charity: Water on: May 04, 2014, 08:10:38 PM
For any of you who haven't been able to get your WATER out of https://water.suprnova.cc -- I just emailed him to let me know when it is out of maintenance mode so that you can login and withdrawn whatever you have left in there. Stay tuned.

Wow, just wow.  So your only exchange is on the wrong chain and this is what you have to say?  Here, allow me.  Everyone, I'm in contact with Bittrex and these issues will be solved ASAP.  We will be updating the wallet and we will stop blaming everything on "rogue nodes" and just admit that the wallet is messed up and we will fix it.

Now that wasn't so hard was it?
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Clean Water Coin | $2,000 Donated to Charity: Water on: May 04, 2014, 07:21:22 PM
Dev... Are you even considering too contact mintpal for NOT listing Cleanwatercoin before the wallets issues and other exchanges are totally synced up/fixed?  Undecided

If not... Tomorrow this thread tomorrow will be nothing but massive hate posts

I agree. If this hits Mintpal before my wallet syncs with my coins I will be one of those hate posts.

Yes, we've let them know that we'd prefer to by on standby until we can get everyone off of those rogue nodes.

The only nodes anyone should be using are:

addnode=107.170.89.103
addnode=107.170.217.4
addnode=107.170.209.91
addnode=128.199.255.146
addnode=188.226.199.223

If you are an old pool operator or miner that was with us in the beginning... please update to the latest wallet!!

Latest wallet: http://pool.cleanwatercoin.org/cleanwatercoin_txfix.zip

Thnx... thats good too hear... keep up the work!  Smiley

Thanks, I was now able to sync. However I'm missing 38K coins from a Bittrex withdraw I did 2 days ago.

did you check the txid in the block explorer?

put the txid in:

http://explorer.cleanwatercoin.org/chain/CleanWaterCoin

and see what happens

you might wanna step back so you don't put an eye out

From what I can tell the pool and my wallet are on the correct chain.  Bittrex may or may not be on the correct chain.

Guys, now tell me what is going on here. I have withdrawn from BittRex some WaterCoins like 2 hours ago and I don't see them in my wallet. Now wallet seems to be finally synchronized, I see actual block 28531. Is it possible that Bittrex wallet is on some other blockchain?

Do you have TX id on bittrex?  Or you could look up your addr on blockchain and check through that, but I'd always prefer TXid.

http://explorer.cleanwatercoin.org/chain/CleanWaterCoin

Bittrex doesn't have any history of withdrawals with TX IDs, I don't see anything. But I tried to insert my wallet address 5VRPqbSG688suzj5w862x8YXz9n8hhYw5v in the http://explorer.cleanwatercoin.org/chain/CleanWaterCoin and it says "Address not seen on the network."  I have used wallet from the first page ->  http://pool.cleanwatercoin.org/cleanwatercoin_txfix.zip

In Bittrex go to "Wallets" on the left hand side.  Click on "hide zero balances".  Then scroll down and click on the plus sign next to cwc.

Ah I see it now. So here it is:

05/04/2014 04:26:22 PM
Address: 5VRPqbSG688suzj5w862x8YXz9n8hhYw5v
TxId: e1f7f78f6fa3f4409abec8efe7e06d102e4c66e129d3d7db428a079b1682ad1c

Your txid is not in the block explorer.  See here:

http://explorer.cleanwatercoin.org/chain/CleanWaterCoin

That's what I found out too. But what does it mean? Sorry guys I didn't have time to read whole thread, can you pls summarize to me what happened with the blockchain of this coin recently? Where should I complain and how should fix this issue? Where are those coins now and how to recover them?

Occasionally there is a delay before it hits the block explorer but this seems too long.

Edit:  How long has it been, not sure what time zone you are in...

edit2:  you sure that is a legit wallet address?  block explorer says:
Address not seen on the network.

I think there is a problem.  I sent coins to Bittrex and they never got there, I mined those coins from the official pool into my windows wallet then sent them to Bittrex.

How many confirmations?

ahh, let me check, one sec...

Status: 30 confirmations, broadcast through 4 nodes
Date: 5/4/2014 12:20

An hour and 5 minutes ago.  Maybe false alarm...

but still not there...

I saw the other guys post and freaked out, lol.  Maybe it just needs more time.

wallet says block 28538

We should get on Poloniex.

What's the best way to do that?  Tweet him?  Maybe post in the trollbox when busoni's online?

from poloniex website:
How can I get such-and-such coin listed on Poloniex?
Send an email to poloniex@gmail.com and tell us about your coin. There is no set of rules, but we like to see evidence of the developers' dedication to the project, community interest, and, more than anything, innovation. If your coin is truly innovative in some way, it is more or less guaranteed to be accepted by Poloniex.

Lets all send an email!

What is the best way to combine using coin control? With HBN I could just create a second wallet in the app and send coins to wallet B (and then back to A if desired) to combine them but mint doesn't support multiple wallets right?

Theres no need to use second wallet for combining inputs. You can simply transfer coins to your own address = send the coins to yourself.

Do you send them to the same (main) address or should I create a second address to send them to?

Thanks!

Up to you, i have two addresses in my wallet, one I use for trading if needed, other I called stake.  I move in blocks to the stake wallet, depends on the amount.  Makes it a bit easier to see the different wallets in the coin control sections.  I then will recombine the blocks if I need to.  I started witha  5 million block 40 days ago, it staked, and had 2x 2.5million+some stake, and this just finished minting about an hour ago, and now I have 4 1.27 million blocks.  I could then use coin control, grab my address, and then resend all 4 back to myself in a single 5 million if I wanted.  They stake faster the bigger the block, but it's not a huge issue for me, so i just left the 4 blocks...

on coin control...Don't touch the ones that are higher confirmations, check off the lower confirmations if you need to send them.  And staking isn't on the address, it's on the block of coins.  you can use tree view, or list view, if you have two addresses, it will seperate them into different labels, making it easier to see where all the coins are.  You can find out when they are ready, just add 20...so if you stake today on all the blocks, on 5/23/2014 they should be getting ready for the next mint.

interesting stuff, why would i have coins dated:
2/27
3/6
4/5
4/10
under coin control?

Using the official pool, no payouts since yesterday until now,missing about 3,000 coins from account balance ? are these going to be payed out manually by pool?

If you are lucky.  But don't worry the pool was fixed 3 days ago... and 3 days before that and 3 days before that...

It seems you guys are gonna be added to MintPal! Many gratz.  Grin

In the spirit of getting "green" coins listed, if you're willing to throw some MintPal votes at SolarCoin, I'll send §5 to the first 50 people who do and then post an SLR address on our thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=429119.540

Thanks!

attempt #3:

    "errors" : "WARNING: Invalid checkpoint found! Displayed transactions may not be correct! You may need to upgrade, or notify developers."

I have no addnodes actually, since the default ones worked about a week ago.  I thought these problems were over Sad

My wallets were working fine for all of 3 days now I get the same message again.

The idiots that are voting for cwc on MinPal should realize that if it wins on Monday it will be the dump of the century with the repeated failure of the wallet and the pool.  Therefore if you are voting for cwc on MintPal then you are in fact an idiot.  You're welcome.
