161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is energy consumption going to hold bitcoin back? on: May 30, 2018, 03:58:13 AM
With Ethereum most likely moving over to POS and the fact that POS
Is less energy reliant does it mean that going forward bitcoins POW
and high energy consumption will be a factor and a concern in the
efficiency to mine coins?
I do not currently think about and focus on coin mining because the cost is so high right now I'm following some bounty campaigns to get rewarded from what I'm doing

Things you should know before investing in bitcoin

What everyone wants is to have a stable job and get good savings, the best option is to work the money to get more income for the future and thus have a better quality of life and what better to invest in bitcoin but before you should know certain things about This cryptocurrency.

it is not regulated: there is no entity that regulates and monitors this type of investment. So you should be aware that if you lose your money, nobody will answer

Bitcoin is a high-risk investment: people should know that the level of risk is very high, due to volatility and inability to predict its price. "

Do not get into debt to buy cryptocurrencies: this really should not be done with this or with another investment, if you are going to work your money with extra money you got.

Do not invest more than you are willing to lose: "it is recommended that you do not invest your savings in this currency; on the contrary, invest 1% of your assets, something that you are really willing to lose".

Use reliable pages: use safe sites to navigate and also only use reliable devices such as your cell phone, your computer and your home's wireless network. Never use public networks neither to make investments nor for any type of financial consultation.

it is true that your opinions conveyed by knowing all the risks and shortcomings in investments with bitcoin make investors more careful and alert to anything that happens with the investment bitcoin
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will become the first world currency for buy and sell ? on: May 30, 2018, 03:47:17 AM
Do you think Bitcoin will become the first world currency for buy and sell ?  Grin
yes I think so because bitcoin is a currency that uses technological sophistication and progress of time in the end bitcoin will become a currency recognized by the whole country
164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Bitcoin Futures? on: May 29, 2018, 07:24:00 PM
Hi, I was curious what your thoughts are on Bitcoin Futures. Do you think this is a positive opportunity for Bitcoin investors? Or, do you think this will thwart the growth of physical bitcoin?
maybe bitcoin will be more developed in the presence of it because follow the development of technology and times hopefully with it bitcoin will be more advanced and can be profitable in its investment
165  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen to bitcoin? on: May 29, 2018, 07:11:43 PM
Bitcoin at the present time resembles as a bubble.Once it goes up, it immediately pops out.  It is normal that the price of bitcoin gets down but it's been a long time since it is on its original value or higher than its real value. Those who invest these past few months are suffering a lot of loaaes and they are losing hope that bitcoin will continue to drastically decrease in value.  Do you have guys some advice for me? It will be really appreciated and I will be eternal grateful.
indeed bitcoin prices dropped dramatically if we only see the graph per day even monthly try you see an increase in price annually if bitcoin slumped why investors are still interested in investment
166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are still buying Bitcoin? on: May 29, 2018, 07:07:46 PM
If people buy Bitcoin at $8,000, they will get 100% profit only when Bitcoin reaches $16,000. If it takes 5 years to reach $16,000, people will earn more money from Gold and Silver than from Bitcoin. Silver is giving 20% to 35% profit in one year.

Mining cost of one Bitcoin is $5,000 or more. When Bitcoin was $400 or $800 it was understandable because people had to just spend $400 or $800 to get one Bitcoin and $1,200 is super high profits when Bitcoin started from $1.
if your calculations are indeed investors will experience losses if you buy bitcoin but why are still many investors who are interested to invest with bitcoin and I often hear many successful and successful investors in investing with bitcoin
167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does bitcoin have value? on: May 29, 2018, 07:03:24 PM

-I think It is popular. many people accept and trade in Bitcoin because It is recognized and accepted as a currency by many.
-Bitcoin is decentralized and limited. This is a major factor for many Bitcoin users. Bitcoin is hard for governments to trace and tax
-Bitcoin acts like an equity investment. The market value of Bitcoins has had wild swings in value and even a market cap.
-Bitcoin is a social network. The Bitcoin "community" is active and acts like other online social networks.
-There are only 21 million bits so it has the same value as gold.
what you are saying is true that bitcoin is the future currency that will grow probably with what you convey will make investors more interested to invest with bitcoin
168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto replace fiat money? on: May 29, 2018, 07:00:11 PM
I would like to know if cryptocurrency will replace fiat money in the future,  also if so how long it will likely take.  Also,  I would like to know which coin you think would take over if one will.  (E.G. Dogecoin,  BTG, LTC, XMR)
it might happen that if all countries inaugurate as a currency that applies around the world, I'm sure one day bitcoin will evolve along with the times and technology
169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will silence its haters... on: May 23, 2018, 09:00:04 AM
we know that many people do not like the presence of Bitcoin,
Are you sure in the future people who hate Bitcoin will be silent and regret because of Bitcoin triumphs...  Grin
people who hate bitcoin are people who do not believe in bitcoin and get a loss because of lack of sense of patience
170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: if bitcoin becomes the country's currency on: May 23, 2018, 08:55:47 AM
The popularity of bitcoin has now grown so rapidly that almost everyone in different countries recognizes and utilizes bitcoin either as a business asset or as a means of payment transactions.
And as we know so far the bitcoin legality is still a consideration for governments in various countries.

Looking at that fact is it possible bitcoin will be the currency of a country?
And can bitcoin change the country's economy for the better?
it could happen because we all can not know for sure bitcoin can be a world currency but it takes time and a long process, because bitcoin uses technological advancements and times and one day will be accepted as official currency throughout the country
171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you mean when you say Bitcoin is number 1 on: May 23, 2018, 08:31:32 AM
We are entering an era of multiple digital currencies, and many of them will survive. Bitcoin is certain to be one of them, but it can't be number one for every factor. Where do you think Bitcoin will stay as number 1

  • Store of value
  • Services in addition to simple money transfer
  • Convenience
  • Security
  • Investment/speculation
  • Safe transfer speed
  • Privacy
  • Freedom from globalist control
  • Other
everything you convey is the hallmarks of bitcoin and makes bitcoin still the best investment asset and in the first rank crypto currency and bitcoin currency pioneer crypto
172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin down, what will happen? on: May 22, 2018, 09:57:47 AM
seeing bitcoin prices go down and up, I'm a bit frightened to buy bitcoin at the moment, I judge I could lose, do you think, whether bitcoin prices can continue to go down, or even rise high?
if your intention is to invest with bitcoin with confidence and believe in bitcoin, if by that I think we would not be afraid of losing and bad news with bitcoin
173  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reasons why Bitcoin is droping: on: May 22, 2018, 05:07:29 AM

Reasons why #Bitcoin is droping:

- Not a single rebrand since 2009
- No "huge news" or "strategic partnerships"
- Not enough airdrops
- Not enough PhD graduates on the team
- Team not doing bounties...
- Logo is not cool
- Satoshi is not being communicative

This was tweeted by person named Crypto Rand, what do you think about his tweet . I think these reasons always exit but Bitcoin is still very expensive, I would like to know your thoughts on this

any reason and opinion that we often read and see I do not think it discourages the investors and the interest to invest with bitcon I think bitcoin is still the best because we see bitcoin is still in the highest price than any other coin
174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can somebody steal your btc? on: May 20, 2018, 10:29:58 AM
Hi, have you ever thought this?

You know that, to import a wallet you need the private key or your seed. Taking as example the private key (the 52 letters key). It could exist the possibility someone create a software whose function was to try thousands of times to find the private key till it is be done. This would be like the process to find the new block in mining, anyway you can try the times you want in order to find it.

I think this could be a weakness, correct me if I am wrong. Smiley

Or comment if you have a kind of solution for this...

Regards!

it could happen because of our own negligence usually it happens and maybe just your key code broken by hackers everything can happen if we are not alert
175  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to secure bitcoin ? on: May 20, 2018, 10:23:43 AM
hello guys,
Recently i've heard about many people lost their bitcoin. Someway their private keys have been leaked and hackers get access to wallet. So what measurements i have to take to secure my bitcoin and prevent it from stealing ?
if that happens maybe the carelessness of the investors themselves due to lack of caution for the moment I am securing my bitcoin by periodically changing the password I use to store it and avoiding sites I do not know
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will silence its haters... on: May 16, 2018, 08:33:55 PM
we know that many people do not like the presence of Bitcoin,
Are you sure in the future people who hate Bitcoin will be silent and regret because of Bitcoin triumphs...  Grin
people who hate the presence of bitcoin are people who do not want to follow the development of technology and the times because bitcoin is the pioneer of the future development of the economic system using the progress of technology
177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tax Collector to Accept Bitcoin on: May 16, 2018, 01:27:30 PM
Florida Tax Collector to Accept Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash Payments

A Florida county tax collector has partnered with bitcoin payments processor BitPay to accept cryptocurrency for a variety of services.

Seminole County Tax Collector Joel Greenberg said in a statement Monday that his office will take bitcoin and bitcoin cash for payments associated with driver licenses and ID cards, automobile tags and titles and property tax.

The office decided to accept the cryptocurrencies in an effort to streamline fee collection, reduce the potential for fraud and identity theft and increase the transparency and accuracy of payments. Greenberg's office added that it does not perceive any "price volatility or risk to the County" in accepting the cryptocurrencies.

really lucky investors who live in the country, would be more practical and easy in transactions, the government in my country still prohibits bitcoin for payments and transactions directly
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investment Strategy on: May 16, 2018, 01:10:07 PM
Greetings! I am planning to invest $5,000 in cryptocurrency but I do not know how to invest. And where should I invest? - in Bitcoin, in alternate cryptocurrency, or in ICO? I’m asking for an investment strategy for professional traders or investors out there.
I think the answer is up to you because you are the one who determines all the ways of investment there must be weaknesses and their most important advantages you believe and believe any investment with bitcoin is profitable
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is the vehicle, we run it on: May 15, 2018, 02:56:30 AM
A lot of posts are about bitcoin (eg bitcoin for illegal transactions ... bitcoins change lives ... bitcoin destroys the world ... bitcoin poison and so on) but basically it's all humans that move .. bitcoin is the tool. Good bad how the tool is how the man who runs. is it worth blaming bitcoin. What is your opinion?
I think you are right bitcoin is a tool or means to invest in it and to get the desired profit if the results and profit bitcoin used for something bad I think it back again to the investors the intention and purpose of what the investment is
180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that other coins move faster? on: May 15, 2018, 02:49:15 AM
Do you think that Bitcoin has become too slow to compete with the relatively quick alt coins out there? Is it realty competitive to have a slow community rather than a centralised decision making in development?

In other words, does the community effect of decentralisation enough to counterbalance the difficult decision making processes?

no one can know the movement of coins quickly or slowly because we have no guidelines or rules that can be as a reference
