161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Initial Coin Offering (ICO) in 2019 on: December 14, 2018, 03:02:27 PM
There is always a possibility that I am going to participate in an ICO as long as it is good and has a hardworking team behind it. We should focus on great altcoins and good ICOs at the same time because both are profitable and beneficial in the future.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All you can do is hold your ALTs for a few years on: December 07, 2018, 02:26:27 PM
If you haven't already sold your ALTs simply hold if your project is decent. If the project has no future sell and buy into a decent project. This is all you can do to recover your loss without putting in more money. It will probably take a couple of years to recover your loss!

Some ALTs will never recover from this crash!

It is an ugly situation!

In the end, it is still going to be their choice. We really can't blame some investors if they're panic selling. If they panic sell their coins, at least they should have a method on how they're going to get their money back. Especially for instances where you really need money, some guys really do panic selling and recover in some other way.
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Holding BTC at this satge is a bad idea? on: December 07, 2018, 02:21:01 PM
BTC is showing weakness and loosing ground day by day I think it is the time for the investors to book profit who are on profit and minimize losses who already suffered a big loss. Can anybody enlighten me on this issue now?

It depends on how much money you invested. Surely, if you bought bitcoin at a lower price, then it is still good. But if you bought bitcoin and a higher price than this, then you should hold. Because you haven't taken the loss if you still hold your coin. That's the best move right now especially if you're not gonna earn a lot of profit.
164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is anonymity the future for bitcoin??? on: December 04, 2018, 11:46:13 AM
As we can see each and every transaction for bitcoin is publicly registered to the blockchain where in all of us have access, so I am just thinking if anonymity or providing privacy will be the next move for bitcoin. Just my thoughts, you can add yours here and let's discuss it.

Well, the transactions are made public in the blockchain, however, you are still anonymous in such a way. And I don't see any problems with it because you're funds can't get stolen by just looking at the blockchain. I really can't say that you have an access to the blockchain because if I'm not mistaken, you can't stop the transaction anymore.
165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Even people in here now give up on Bitcoin on: December 04, 2018, 11:43:01 AM
When I warned everyone that Bitcoin would continue to go down in the beginning of the year, all the fools in here would not believe it.

Every post of warning - which came to be true - was not believed.

Now I see a clear change in this forum with many people now agreeing that Bitcoin is in a bad place and unlikely to recover combined with stories of people who are now realizing that they have lost a lot of money for nothing.

And for the fools out there who say "if you do not sell you have not lost anything" - clearly they must be the most stupid of "investors" in the world. Of course you have lost the money, you just don't have the guts to tell your wife yet

Well, it's not that we did not believe you. But every each of us have their own speculation. One can go the other way and one can make their own way. You don't have to brag that you were right in the first place. Some guys are just lucky and even though the market is red, it doesn't matter because it only means we can invest more on cheap coins and do a long-term hold.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think the market needs to get back on track?! on: December 03, 2018, 10:52:46 AM
As all we can see the market isn't going anywhere but down. But there are a lot of projects and ICOs appearing everyday but not helping the market at all.
Any opinions on this topic?

I also still see a lot of projects that are growing and there are still upcoming projects. I don't think making projects about cryptocurrency will ever stop since a lot of people already knows that htere is a lot of money in cryptocurrency. As of now, I can see that a lot of projects are focusing on their products instead of the price.
167  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL'ers lose. That is no surprise on: December 03, 2018, 10:51:22 AM
"I told you so" comes to mind.

I warned everyone in here again and again in the beginning of 2018.

Get out of Bitcoin as fast as you can to limit your losses.

Everytime so-called "experts" and "investors" in here said to HODL. Bitcoin would soon go to the moon.

Only the most blind and stupid still believe Bitcoin will ever recover.

The sooner you get out, the smaller your loss. If you wait, you can be sure the loss will be even bigger.

Blockchain technology has a great future, but cryptocurrencies - any crypto -  are a dead end.

The thing is you haven't took any lost until you dump your low priced coins. You still lack understanding about cryptocurrencies. If you analyze the graph, there is also a history like this before and it just depends on you whether you give up or not.
168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you measure the success of Bitcoin? on: December 02, 2018, 11:18:22 AM
I see a lot of obsession with price on these forums. In my opinion, price is a distraction from BTC becoming a success. I measure BTC success on ease of use, levels of adoption, and scalability. Along with decentralization, these should be our obsession.

I also think we should keep the original goals in mind. We need to undermine and even destroy the relationships banks have wirh governments. Let's not forget they are the engine of elitism.

I'd rather see $100 btc that is accepted by millions of retailers and is used regularly than a million doller BTC that is a false store of value.

How do you measure the success of BTC?

I could measure the success of bitcoin by the number of people who accepts it. I also consider the price in a larger scale like in years and months but I don't want to focus on that. I want to focus on success by if bitcoin gets accepted by large corporations and accepting it as a payment. With that, it could also help with the price of the bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ether going forward? on: November 03, 2018, 02:13:42 PM
Hi everyone! Tell me please: Does investing in Ether become more interesting for you due to the current changes and what will be your forecast for the growth of the coin?

Yes. Even though it looks really bad right now, I can see that there is still a hope for this coin and it could progress more in the future. There are reasons why it became one of the top coins in just a span of two years.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What coins are worth buying NOW on: November 02, 2018, 03:36:02 PM
I think you should look over the top 50 coins and look what is cheap and do some research on what coins have the potential to grow in the future. Especially nowadays the market is red so this season is the best time to buy cheap altcoins. Waves, stratis, and ripple are my favorite.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Greedy Bounty Managers on: November 02, 2018, 03:34:44 PM
To all greedy bounty managers this message is for you. You know we, bounty hunters, have allocated our time and effort to do our tasks in exchange for rewards. We have done our job so we have right to receive our salary. Why are you so greedy? You wanna become rich fast? And then what? You have all the money in this world and then what? Money is not everything.

I don't think you are explaining a problem here in your post. If you think some bounty managers are greedy, then tell us why you think like that. You just did a nonsense rant because it lacks substance.
172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China can destroy bitcoin on: October 31, 2018, 02:20:07 PM
yes, china can destroy bitcoin but not the whole system. They destroy any crypto but they can only do it on their own country like what they did to other investments. China is a very powerful country controlled by the government and destroying what they want depends on the matter if it's bad for their people or not.
173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin become currency a new State? on: October 31, 2018, 12:26:25 PM
For me bitcoin can't be a real currency for a new state but it may be the second currency of one country. Maybe bitcoin is very right now but the value of it is too high for  a country make it their own currency. It is impossible for bitcoin to become a currency but it will be part of the system to help the real currency progress.
174  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Please Buy a Hardware Wallet on: October 29, 2018, 11:52:38 AM
Buying a hardware wallet is not really recommended if you are just investing very small amount of money and you are sure that your account is safe from the hackers. But if you are into huge investment then buy a hardware wallet that will not cost you a lot though.
175  Economy / Speculation / Re: How is bitcoin this year on: October 29, 2018, 11:49:42 AM
Bitcoin this year is pretty steady. Bitcoin price movement is very predictable for this month. But still we can't say that it will not change in a couple of seconds. I might say by the end of this yea bitcoin will fall on the price of 7k give and take. And maybe next year will be a progressive year .
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain is not private on: October 29, 2018, 11:45:44 AM
For me blockchain is private. We knew that many company knows about our blockchain but of course theg are following terms and conditions to make our privacy safe. Blockchain can't be in public because this will make the system fall.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your future plans with altcoins? on: October 27, 2018, 10:33:21 AM
I think I'm gonna look forward to investing in the future since my coins are not that profitable right now. And also, spending on the things that I need and I want at the same time. Investing in great ICOs is still my top priority because it is going to be great for the future.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which one of these is a shitcoin according to you guys? on: October 27, 2018, 10:25:57 AM

Guys, Ripple, Stellar, Neo, Electroneum, Deep Brain Chain, Digibyte, Pundi X, Crypterium, Nano..I have bought not much but just a little of all these for 1-2 yrs hodl....Anything which is not worthy of investment???

None of these are actually shit coins. But you can definitely rank them from which one is the best to worst but all of these are great. I think you should focus on which of these coins is going to be worth investing for with respect on how much do you have.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Most ICOs Sales are Failing? on: October 26, 2018, 01:30:39 AM
it's because:
a) founders of ICOs are scammers
b) founders of ICOs don't know anything about what they are doing
c) there are some extra costs and project can't work for long time
d) projcets product is useless and nobody needs it
e) some other random reason

Not really. I known some ICOs that are currently delaying the release of tokens due to the market situation and they're currently focusing in their product which is actually still a good thing.
180  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading stressful for you? on: October 26, 2018, 01:23:54 AM
I believe it is a stressful thing to do in cryptocurrency because you always have to search and speculate about coins. And I think luck is also important. But after all the stress, if you earn a lot of profit, you'll keep on doing and doing it again because you know it is going to be worth it.
