The best method, in my opinion, is, find a good coin and hodl it for a long time.
About ICOs, there are many ICOs are being launched every day. So we can't say which one will work good or which one will fail. but if an ico works well, you will get a good profit. mostly like 3-10 times profit soon.
Another option is, buy coins at the dip and sell when you see a 20-50 % profit in 10 days.
all these methods will work, but you will need to do a good research before getting success.

When bitcoin goes down, the value of alts go down as well when compared to fiat currencies since we are trading alts with BTC. Another reason is when BTC rate goes down, many people sell alts and try to buy BTC at a lower rate. Some other newbies buy all coins when they see it goes up expecting it will go up always and when they see a drop, they just sell it straight. All these factors will affect Alts.

If you see any Google forms that claim to be airdrop and not mentioning about their website, it will be a scam one. especially if they are asking for a donation. I see many people posting such forms in this thread. Be Aware!

I think its gonna be the year of ETH. Eth is faster, costs less compared to bitcoin. Bitcoin is already don't have any use in everyday life or can't be used because of it's high transaction fee and slower transactions. So Ethereum will be a clear winner.
But we can't say if some other coins that is not in the picture yet overtake both BTC and ETH.

Datum is really a great project. Google, Facebook, and other advertising platforms taking our personal data, search preferences etc and showing ads to us. Anyway, these data are available to big guns. So what if we can make some money by giving Datum permission to access our data. Indeed a great idea.

Any recommendations on the best way to keep track of the airdrops you enter? I'm entering but I'm never sure whether my ERC-20 address should have received tokens by now? Is there a significant delay to receiving tokens on some airdrops?
most of the airdrops distribute tokens after ico tokens are distributed except few. I guess you will be a member of their telegram chat when you enter an airdrop. so just read the discussions there, you will get an idea about when they are gonna distribute it. But be cautious, many groups won't allow discussions about airdrop or bounties in telegram groups. |

I have tried it on my website for some time. The result was good. but when users see this website is mining cryptocurrency, they think we are running some malicious software and they leave immediately. But still, I see great potential for this project.

airdrops are a way of promoting new Coin/token projects. most programs a lot a small percent of total coins for airdrop and bounties. bounties range from the translation of their site, white paper, announcement thread, sharing their tweets and posts on social media, make videos about the campaign, write articles, find bugs in the project etc.
Airdrops usually give for joining telegram and following other social media. So they will have a large community to spread the words about them.

Most of them are scam. Just made to steal private keys. BCH and BTG are doing well right now. I don't know if any others are even on right track.

With the high volume, we can't expect the rate to go beyond a certain level. Still, we can't write off doge coins yet. Bitcoin and many other coins are not suitable for day to day life payments since the high transaction time, transaction charges and large rate fluctuations. If doge can beat these, it can still thrive.

Yes 100%  anyone can quickly build a google form themselves. then it comes here in the thread and the stupid enter their data. then you have a lot of data. and people do not get a single token. You can see that very often here. Anyone can build a google form easily. Always make sure if they have a website and bitcointalk thread. atleast we can avoid half of the scams through this. By checking social media accounts and telegram, we can find if its scam. Won't work always though. Even if it looks like a legit program, never share sensitive data with anyone. Always use different passwords when registering for different campaigns. never share private keys with anyone. |
