161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hope you guys won't fall for this BCH joke on: November 13, 2017, 10:34:11 AM
Just saying... BTC is the real thing and will remain... you know it right?

So act wisely and don't fall for this trap: btw don't miss the chance to sell you BCH to get more Bitcoins - I'm sure we will have a bigger pump by Christmas Wink

Many people are already falling for it and the market is clearly indicating its results too .
Bitcon cash has grown so much in one night that people are stunned and already dumping their bitcoin to get their hands on BCH .
But i will not fall for the trap for sure as BCH is just another altcoin who seeked attention for some period of time , while bitcoin remains seated on the throne.

You're late, that was 1 day ago.

A few hours ago, the BCH nearly hit below 1000usd. Since that would have meant everyone dumping and the BCH going back to 200 (or less), some bots kept it above 1000, it moved back a little but it's already down again, soon it's over.
Besides, no one sane would invest in a coin capped at 0.5BTC, knowing a whale is gonna dump at any time. People were attracted by an easy buck, and that's not gonna happen again, certainly not until 2500.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hope you guys won't fall for this BCH joke on: November 13, 2017, 10:26:54 AM
Bitcoin Cash may not be a total joke nor a shitcoin, but I am more than sure that what happened just recently was a manipulated pump. There was really no mass movement from Bitcoin to Bitcoin Cash.

oh it was manipulated.. but there was mass. Pumping is a trigger, then money calls the mass.

Why do you think we would have had to find other markets? "no more money to make in the crypto world that would have lost its icon." BTC and other currencies are here to survive. That's why it's called decentralized. I suggest you to read and think deeply about what's written on the whitepaper.
BTC and many altcoins will exist. Their prices will change, but they will always survive; this is inevitable. I can see this fact makes many people unhappy, but you must face it.

If you have a better argument, please post it.

Yeah, I assume you're not doing any long-term investment. Because for that to work, you need the general public, and all they know is "bitcoin". That's a brand that advertises itself.

Short-term investment, for how long will it last? It's like you wanna be a poker player and expect all shit poker players who are learning, to keep coming & feed your wallet. If money doesn't come from new people, then it moves from the pocket of some to others. But that isn't very sustainable.

IF the BCH had taken over, I would have quit. I wouldn't be investing in a coin that has demonstrated that another coin can so simply replace it & ruin the investment. I may still be trading for fun, but I'd do that with much less money.
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why aren't there more women in Bitcoin? on: November 13, 2017, 10:09:37 AM
maybe women are more into men with bitcoins
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hope you guys won't fall for this BCH joke on: November 13, 2017, 10:03:59 AM
First of all BCH issue on last weekend:
I bought and sold it at right times and earned more than 30% of my capital. In conventional finance world, if you earn 30% over weekend, it's unbelievable crazy. Similar things happens in stock exchanges, especially new company IPOs. But no one says "it's a trap to sell abc" or what so ever. So, please stop saying BCH is shit, or it's trap etc.
In finance world there are always manipulators, big banks, big players who can manipulate and earn more. In cryptocurrency world, the more it gets famous and reknown, the more manipulators will join. At some point, the thing you called "shit, trap" might give biggest profit to investors.

What you describe is what altcoins are for, and what happened happens a lot there. Why would you rejoice from an attempt (& maybe partial success) at ruining the BTC brand?

Check the hundreds of altcoins, with some of them you will double (or lose all) your capital in a day. Yes of course it's risky, but guess what, the idiots who bought BCH above 2000 all lost a lot of money as well.

You earned 30% in a weekend, sure, but if this attack had succeeded, you would have had to find other markets, no more money to make in the crypto world that would have lost its icon.

(and you're an asshole)
165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin, give 'em their 2MB blocks already. on: November 13, 2017, 09:53:23 AM
I absolutely don't care for 2MB blocks, I don't really see anyone using BTC directly in the future (everyone will go through services like Paypal, because it's safer for the average consumer to have his name on money, and to be protected, and of course it's instant. You don't need a Bitcoin transaction to pay a tiny amount of money, that's what credit is for. The mass does not fraud nor wanna hide from authorities, they don't care about that aspect of BTC).

BUT... if that's what it takes to protect the BTC from other attacks like this, I seriously hope it will be addressed. True, it would be abdicating in front of terrorism, but if it's about protecting the BTC brand, I hope the team won't be stubborn about it.

And we're lucky the pump&dump attempt with the DASH failed.

Don't get into BCH, where it is now, if a parabolic pump ever happens again, it will be capped lower than 0.5 this time, you're not gonna win anything.
167  Economy / Speculation / Re: Segwit2X Hardfork cancelled/postponed on: November 12, 2017, 09:17:06 PM
What makes you think that B2X would "push back BCH for good"?

well, they would all come back to BTC to get their free coins. And then yes, shit would happen again.. but at least the free coin would compensate for it/give a real choice to every BTC owner, including recent ones.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I trade my BTC for BCH? on: November 12, 2017, 09:14:51 PM
Those who have BCH should cash it out before others do, it will never get back to this value again.
169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today's attack on Bitcoin on: November 12, 2017, 09:08:32 PM
BCC? I hope you mean BTC

Btw I believe it's gonna be a slower comeback. And why is it going back again? I'd buy a ton of BTC's at the current price, if I had more cash.
170  Economy / Speculation / Re: Segwit2X Hardfork cancelled/postponed on: November 12, 2017, 01:40:33 PM
I hate to say that but wouldn't it be a good thing right now if B2X was really coming next week?

It would push back that BCH for good, bring up the BTC quickly, and AT LEAST let people decide which one they wanna keep. B2X was less an attack than this BCH, everyone would have been given one, BCH doesn't apply to newcomers.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is happening with Bitcoin Cash? (need a very constructive explanation) on: November 12, 2017, 10:44:48 AM
It was so well orchestrated that I'm waiting for "Bitcoin, the movie". I'd really like to see the conspiracy behind all this in details.
172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Oh Shit! - Bitcoin is Rekt! on: November 12, 2017, 09:36:18 AM
Now why is BTC going down a little again?

Surely not BCH, some are still trying to keep it alive, instead of going out with their profit while it's still time. Who would still put money in a timebomb capped at 0.5BTC?
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'll never buy Bitcoin cash on: November 12, 2017, 09:26:34 AM
Now that the BCH has lost, why has the BTC already stopped going up?
174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Oh Shit! - Bitcoin is Rekt! on: November 12, 2017, 08:02:37 AM
BCH has just lost 1000$ within minutes. Yes, many are loosers right now

I wouldn't cry for them. Now let's hope that whoever stole all the money from greedy BTC owners, will put it back in BTC now.
175  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] KRAKEN.COM - Exchange with USD EUR GBP JPY CAD BTC LTC XRP NMC XDG STR ETH on: November 12, 2017, 07:56:01 AM
Hilarious what just happened.

I was watching the BCH die realtime, on Bitfinex.
20 min later, I get in Kraken, and wtf, BTC still low, and BCH still at 0.5 there?Huh And then it dipped.

Hahahaha, Kraken, the only exchange with a 20min lag. Hahahahaha.

I still managed to get 1 free BTC out of 2 from that BCH scam, on Bitfinex. All this because I had the time to react quickly when it dipped. Meanwhile you're probably still trying to place an order there. I had warned you it was risky as hell to trade BCH on Kraken. This thing HAS to be realtime!
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'M GETTING REALLY ANGRY! WTF is happening with this BTC/BCH crap! on: November 12, 2017, 07:20:50 AM
Keep your BTC for a more long term perspective. This mess is about to get stable real soon.
Consider the following insights:

1. With this kind of price change, people have the tendency to dump once the profits become irresistible
2. BTC is still king!! It is the most widely used crypto in restaurants, hotels etc.
3. It seems the funds are all coming from one part o the world (ASIA). Seems to be a short-lived price manipulation. Not a consensus by
bitcoin holders around the world.

Thanks Boss.  Just saw BCH soar to 2450 then down....and BTC plummet to 5500 then up to 5800....all within a matter of minutes.  This volatility is crazy. But I'm trying to learn and keeping positive.  Long Term investor here.  Smiley

You can buy BTC now while it's cheap. While I can imagine BCH reaching 0.5BTC again, it's gonna dump again when there. Hopefully the BCH has died now, only some haven't realized it yet.
I wish I had placed a limit order before 0.5, but I still managed to get out at 0.37.
177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Oh Shit! - Bitcoin is Rekt! on: November 12, 2017, 07:09:29 AM
War is over, BCH has dipped at 0.5 as predicted, celebrate & buy BTC while it's still cheap!
(I wish I could, but I still got out with 1 free BTC out of 2 through that BCH crap)
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Ok you can forget the BCH now on: November 12, 2017, 06:50:57 AM
I thought that when the BCH would reach 50% of the BTC, there would be no more no-risk profit in buying BCH anymore.

And it's exactly what happened, massive dip when it reached 0.5. It might get up again, but I think it's over. Luckily I was in front of my screen.

Now it's just a bet. If you bet the BCH will take over, you can save as much as you can by going BCH. If you believe in BTC, keep it! In either case, profits are over, think of it, & stop the bleeding of the BTC.

Whoever orchestrated this is a genius if it gets back to 0.5 now.

War is over, now enjoy BTC going back up. (I think!)
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'M GETTING REALLY ANGRY! WTF is happening with this BTC/BCH crap! on: November 12, 2017, 05:44:36 AM
Of course you might switch to BCH and once the pump is done you might end with 300 instead of 3000.

& if it doesn't happen, you are screwed.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'M GETTING REALLY ANGRY! WTF is happening with this BTC/BCH crap! on: November 12, 2017, 05:24:19 AM
Bitcoin Cash is somehow better than Bitcoin.

I answer for you.

Bitcoin Cash
Cheaper fees
Faster translations
Market Price keeps going up

Old Core version of Bitcoin
Fees Too High, no can afford
Transactions takes a week or more now
Market Price keeps dropping

So for me, since I want make more money not less.
Bitcoin Cash is Better coin.  Smiley

101% certain that those who went BCH do not give a f*** about what it really is. Otherwise they would have done that earlier.
It was first about profit, now it's about saving the boat.
I believe that once the BCH reaches half of the BTC's value, you will be losing a lot.
That is, if the BCH reaches 2500 (& it's close) while the BTC falls to 5000, I don't think you have any way of recovering this anymore.

If I break even from the crap that's happening, I'm leaving cryptotrading.
