You can sell your ALTS if you believe there is no value anymore. No progress and no updated roadmap. But if you believe several coins/tokens which have a promising value, I think it's worth the wait. |

Its probably they didn't set a stop loss on their buy or sell order. So, when the market suddenly crashed, it will happen. Another factor is, they probably buy when heard a false news. It will be dump hard when the project team announces their statement to counter the false news.

I prefer to working smart rather than working hard. For example, as a bounty hunter, we have to research the project before joining their campaign. It's a smart move. Because I see a lot of hunters applied all campaign as much as possible without analyzing the project. It will be wasting their time if the project turns into a scam.

Do you think these rumors are real? I tend to think yes and I think this will happen soon.
To be well understood, I believe in Ethereum's potential (even though so far I have lost money investing in Ethereum, but I notice that it is still a good project and this will makes it to explode one day) and I still believe that by the end of 2018 it will have an increase of thousands of dollars, but at the same time I feel that it will drop much more than it is now before starting the growth again.

How do you do your own research if the coin is a good investment?
For me, I always look on the purpose of the project, the team behind it, what exchanges is it available on etc. And one of the important thing for me is the total supply of the coin.
I also research if the coin is Proof of Work (POW), Proof of Stake (POS), Pre-mined or other.
That's a good point. But from my experience, that is not enough. You have to see the project clearly. First of all, you can search the team member behind that project. I see some bitcointalk members always googling first the project team, and they found many project using fake Image for their members. |

White Paper is a must read for an investor or be ready to lose your funds. No investor should ignore a project's white paper as its the first source of information. My device is filled with white papers that I am even thinking of deleting some.
Not only for Investors, me as a bounty workers always read whitepaper when doing articles task. Like OP said, reading whitepaper can give us great idea and new concept about cryptosphere. |

Well, I quite agree with this statement. Based on this wiki page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_in_Africa#Current_situation most internet users are Marocco. While the least is Somalia. Poor infrastructure in Africa is the main obstacle when adopting Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. |
