161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: December 27, 2017, 09:07:47 AM
We're not even sure blockchain has a future, but if it does, altcoins definitely have future too. Which ones, I do not know. But.. Try Googling "Hashgraph" and be amazed about how unsure the future of blockchain technology might be.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Hashgraph and how long will blockchain push forward on: December 27, 2017, 08:56:47 AM
Hi everyone.

So this thing called Hashgraph caught my attention recently - it's a completely different and new concept of a distributed ledger.

Here are the key points:
1. Compared to blockchain, hashgraph is better in almost every possible way (energy consuption, speed, security).
2. Hashgraph is just a working concept, there are no public ledgers built on top if it yet (no tokens, sorry)
2. It is not a proof-of-work system and it will never be.
To learn more about hashgraph I suggest reading and watching the presentation at http://www.hashgraph.com.

Here are my questions for you.
In case a better ledger comes along, what do you think will happen to blockchain?
Is there a blockchain lobby that will try to protect the crypto world (bitcoin millionaires) in some way and try to crush other technologies?
Will the blockchain coin & token market crash (and why not) in case Hashgraph developers create a public financial ledger (which probably won't happen for a long time)?
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for team members for crypto MMORPG project! on: December 14, 2017, 02:17:35 PM
Good luck, you're going to need a huge, experienced team to pull of a relevant-in-2017 MMORPG with no established IP. Games are hard. I wouldn't go back into game dev industry in it's current state.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum at $1000 in Jan 2018? on: December 14, 2017, 12:19:34 PM
I'm thinking ETH might be unstoppable once the developers figure out the whole scaling problem and I do think that might change the whole crypto sphere. What's currently happening to the price is just crypto hype.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO good or bad? on: December 01, 2017, 03:52:39 PM
I'd start by opening google, typing "How do I do my ICO research" and going through the first page of results Wink
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🎮[ANN][preICO][IQeon] Decentralized gaming PvP platform. 🎮 on: November 28, 2017, 05:59:01 PM
1. I see relatively good install numbers under games you listed as in your ecosystem (didn't check if they're true, but you seem credible enough). How many combined monthly active users do they generate?
2. Where does the demand for the token come from? You didn't explain the economy of the token enough in your post. I suppose game developers are supposed to buy them in order to reward players? You're mentioning some PvP competing but didn't really make it clear, what it's about.
If that is so, coming from the games industry, I see quite some problems. I don't see enough benefits or 3rd party game projects jumping on your platform. I only see some sort of costly user acquisition. I'd guess that audience coming through IQeon to my game will do that to soak tokens out it and will not make any in-app purchases. Nobody wants such users. Also, any game can create their own cryptocurrency to reward players.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ERC20, ETH Token on: November 28, 2017, 05:30:01 PM
To me it seems like a project focused 95% on the ico and 5% on the product. And if you focus on the ICO that much more, the product will for sure fail. Sorry buddy, not here for any kind of the pump & dump madness.
168  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you die, what will happen with your coins? on: November 21, 2017, 03:32:36 PM
I see it as more than just my coins. There's a bunch of stuff that will get lost in case my memory shuts down. Having a simple password-secure USB key with all the data someone needs, seems good enough for me. I will disclose the location and the password only verbally to the one that should open it once I die (a close relative or a lawyer).
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Oil-backed coins on: November 20, 2017, 10:04:43 AM
Haven't done much research on those, but my guess is it won't work, at least not right now. Successful, long-lasting tokens backed by physical materials are still to come, but I don't see it before regulation kicks in.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have 15 BTC worth of ALT coins, what would you do ? on: November 15, 2017, 08:15:49 AM
Have you considered transferring your funds to ICONOMI and let them be managed by pros? I have to say I'm quite pleased with the service and the profits there.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's collapse on: November 15, 2017, 07:55:32 AM
Is there a question or was that a statement?  Smiley

Neither, it's a promotion Wink
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Leftover ICO Tokens? What happens to them? on: November 15, 2017, 07:46:59 AM
Has anyone physically burned the leftover tokens? Like burning a hard wallet and making a video.. Was thinking about such PR moves Smiley
