Today I was navigating in bitcointalk looking to people that in the past was wondering about bitcoin and charity; we spent quite few years now to develop Helperbit, now is live since a couple of days, please let me know if the platform meets some of your ideas, any feedback is welcome. I am sure some of you have more revolutionary ideas.
Call me a wishful dreamer but I think that if we are really focused or comitted in giving to charoty then why not give a certain minimal percentage of every winnersgcut on gambling in bitcoin and will be automatically deposited in the wallet for that charity. I've been having this idea in the back of my mind for quite some time now. It would be great to see this implemented. If I can contribute just drop me a PM. |

I have read about giving as one way to be blessed.
Giving can come in form of anything; it could be giving of your time to a course; talent and gift, resources and so on.
I am sure of one thing however, giving of anything can increase your own happiness and good feelings, but is giving a factor to becoming wealthy? I am aware of the Forbes list of the richest, I am yet to hear any of them attributing his wealth to giving away if his resources.
If you give to get wealthy you are not giving. If you give to give, you are giving. If wealth means money only to you, then giving is a promotional/marketing strategy to get more profit. If wealth means love, compassion, life, balance, health and happiness, than start giving unconditionally and all of those things will come into your life as a side-effect. |

Hi,
I will probably use Coinomi for multicoins although somewhere it says it's not open source any more - If I want to buy Bitcoins and other multicoins - is it best to open an account at one of the online wallets where I can buy and then transfer immediately to Coinomi? If I do this way what online wallet/exchange is recommended? Any suggestions/ recommendations to get started!

I've heard lots of good things about Exodus https://www.exodus.io but you'll have to test what's out there for yourself. Don't keep more money than you need to spend on exchanges at any time. The rest should be in cold storage (paper/hardware wallets). Welcome to the forum! |

If you don't mind doing another pass on the logo, I have some feedback on the logo:
1) Not a fan of using the document icon. It feels too generic.....
2) Putting the document icon in the C makes the C look like an O which could be very confusing
3) I just had an idea of doing something with the idea of "Zen" and the goal of two parties coming to a harmonious agreement that both sides are happy with
4) I'm using mostly 'Open Sans' font in my website, so I think the font used in the logo should complement the Open Sans style.
5) The logo should look good on both white and black backgrounds (maybe via inverting the colors).
If you decide not to do another pass I understand. Thanks either way!

Just thinking in terms of the overall design of the logo and how the graphics on the logo can utilize the concepts of "zen" and a "harmonious agreement" but at the same time maintaining a professional feel. I was impressed by the designs on PkAuth and PixelCritic and how the graphics on the logo really complemented the text. I hope that clarifies!

Handling anger is important life skill that's right
but sometimes people struggles to get rid of it. I know everyone experience anger most specially when someone attempting or to have violated our boundaries we get extremely reacted and get angry. for me, its not easy to get calm when i'm in extremely angered, So what do you do guys to calm down your anger can you give some idea to overcome or get rid of it.
You could try a quick visualization technique whenever you feel that anger is coming.. you know the feeling. Do this:
- whatever first thought pops into mind, ignore it and try to "feel" like you're dumb (make a face if you have to) - don't move a muscle, stay put physically for a few seconds - feel the actual heat wave of the anger and become the anger, there is no separation between you and the anger - get your entire system in a state similar to when you're waiting for something to happen, but don't think of anything - let the feeling overwhelm you (whatever that is) until its last drop leaves your body All of this should take between 5 - 20 seconds, depending on circumstances. If it worked, you're not angry anymore. Do this every time you feel the anger coming. Act fast, it's most effective when spotted early. If it didn't work, try thinking why "X" external factor (person/action/news) "made you angry". Better still, find reasons why it's not about you and why it's about them. (ie. if someone says I'm a fool because I work too much, maybe it's all about them - they are angry because they are lazy and don't have my opportunities, so why would I get angry?) Incorporate that into your metaphor. Repeat as needed and with time you won't be angry more than 0-3 seconds, which is kind of nice. It's hard to explain, but bare with me - this is the first time I'm trying to put this into words. |
