Ask sum gone lower because it was bought with fiat not on order book.

Just as the dumpers weren't on the book.

But the dumpers now have fiat.

163  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: July 10, 2013, 08:04:09 PM
Lol!

If the asks side was a lady, I would tell her she can eat all the cake she wants.  Cheesy

And now the FUD for bears...

Will it really go down?

Perhaps it was the last chance to get cheap coins...
You know that everyone (that matters, money wise) was waiting for cheap coinz.   Wink

All hail the king.  Smiley

I must be in denial because I don't buy this "rally" for a minute.

I do.  Grin

Well then, up Up UP!
168  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: July 10, 2013, 07:20:49 PM
Quite possibly. We're only entering billion and trillion dollar markets..but walmart doesn't accept it, right?? lol

But why would any of this "market" buy?

Remember when everyone was buying houses, because the next guy was going to buy it after?

Are bears starting to have their ground shaken?

A couple days of stability after a spike up and I see bulls popping up everywhere.  Cheesy

But what about you? You've been one of the most vocal bears not long ago, right?

Yup. I was expecting an epic bull trap but so far we seem stuck <80$

I'm waiting on the sideline.
170  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: July 10, 2013, 06:18:15 PM
No, I wont get into my trades and i'm still up all in all compared to when i got in, but your sentiment (which has been wrong and continues to be wrong) did manage to creep into my mind when i was hovering over buy at 65.5 and didnt' do it.  Sometimes I think I'm better off trading without reading these threads Smiley

You're insane.

I clearly stated on this very thread that I closed my shorts once we reached $66.

your bearishness over the past few weeks contributed to me making some bad panic trades and losing a lot of money... so it goes both ways.  It was of course my decision to sell at the bottom and not rebuy again at 66 but your constant harping about hitting 50 didn't help.

It goes both ways.

You waited after a 40% drop before selling, but blame the bears?  Huh

Good Guy Whale keep the price up so pigs can make money

Everyone's noticing the manipulation at Gox, but really the one at Bitstamp is insane. (In both direction)

Bulls are coming out of the woodwork.

Bulls, bulls everywhere!  Tongue

Some more lines:

Any insight for those of us with no working knowledge of lineology?  Smiley

All is well that ends well.

I see a chart.

I see lines on a chart.

I knew I was missing something obvious!

If anything, I'd imagine it'd fall deeper than 2011 (in which coins sold at $2 instead of a predicted $4 dollar value), because of the higher absolute values concerned and larger number of bitcoin holders who are probably not enthusiasts, and won't have the same faith it'll rise again, causing more depression.

I think it'll rise again though, I'd put money on it.... Grin

There's a difference.
In 2011, when the bubble popped, there was nothing to compare to.
Was it the end of Bitcoin?

Now (almost) everyone is expecting a crash and a new rise, just like 2011.

I find that this site updates quicker with the walls than bitcoinity and i like having all 4 exchange prices and currencies available

just found out you can display a trade line, but the yellow in light version isn't really visible. (dark version is better)

Oh, I should change that Cheesy I'll change the color.
after staring constantly on software and charts with dark interfaces the whole time i always like some inversion of colours.
feels quite refreshing for the eyes  Wink

We need one with the solarized-dark theme.

I know the great manipulator still has at least 5k BTC worth... and it haunts me.

What is he planning?

Why did he leave his bids eaten alive? Did he really want to buy?
But then, why jack up the price with a huge wall?

 Undecided
