I’d like to warn anyone wishing to buy USB ASICs.

Don’t do that if your goal is to get profit.

I bought one because wished to take part in mining and to be proud that I also make a contribution (although almost negligible) to the security of Bitcoin network, and I don’t possess a big computer to stick a powerful graphics card into.

And given that wish I am kind of satisfied.

But in economic terms, even though I bought it at a price equal to ฿1.2, even with current difficulty it will take more than 6 months to pay back. Of course as I payed in fiat, I can hope to do that faster if Bitcoin price rises. But I would better just buy ฿1.2 on a market instead if I cared about profit only.
