161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: January 08, 2018, 07:42:29 PM
I am a massive ETH supporter and I think it will only grow this year.

I know people are constantly comparing it to bitcoin but I think they should stop and just see where it goes Smiley
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats is the most exiting Project youre involved in? on: January 08, 2018, 07:41:11 PM
Apart from Ethereum the one that I am excited about is Crowdholding.

They are a co-creation platform that focuses on co-creation between startups and the general public, you get rewarded for your responses in Cryptocurrency (both Crowdholding's YUPIE and other ERC-20 tokens from startups on their platform).

They have a working platform since April and they have over 2,000 users signed up before their ICO has finished. They have a low cap at 1 million and they are at 87% so I expect them to finish this week or next. They have already agreed to go onto a exchange and every week I see more and more startups joining.

I think these guys will be the next product hunt but in the crypto world, if they are half as big as them they will be huge.

163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get in on an ICO if you're in the United States? on: January 08, 2018, 07:27:01 PM
I think you are going to struggle, If you really want to get involved you will need to avoid ICO's that are using KYC's and also get a good VPN. Doing this means though that if it goes wrong you won't be able to do anything legally because you lied about your nationality.

You could get someone else to invest for you?
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH reach BTC value ? on: January 08, 2018, 07:24:44 PM
I think it will eventually but this is far into the future and I don't see it happening for at least a few years. People need to remember that ETH is a baby compared to Bitcoin in terms of how long it has been around.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: many ICO coming on: January 08, 2018, 07:07:14 PM
Yes I think there are a lot of ICO's and this is a good thing (I am guessing that's what you mean) and it depends on where you live if you can invest or not.

I would recommend having a look at Crowdholding, they are a co-creation platform that rewards you for co-creating with startups in cryptocurrency (both their own and other startups who have their own ERC-20 token). They have a working platform before their ICO and they are at 87% towards their low hard cap of 1 million USD.

hope this helps!
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you ❤️ crypto??? on: January 08, 2018, 06:54:25 PM
The technology behind it, I think our society is moving at crazy speeds compared to 20/30 years ago and Crypto is one of those items that will push it again!
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to participate in ICO's? on: January 08, 2018, 06:46:46 PM
Safety can only be guaranteed with any sort of investment through careful research and asking questions. Once you do this, you can make a good evaluation on the project and if it is a good investment opportunity or a bad one.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO basics for Newbies on: January 08, 2018, 06:41:00 PM
Nice summary, I find there is a lot of different language that is used in this forum and to someone who is new to the crypto world it can be overwhelming.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ico best in 2018? on: January 08, 2018, 06:39:28 PM
Look into Crowdholding.

They are close to completing their ICO and I think this project will be huge in 2018. You can comment and give feedback and earn cryptocurrency from it!

170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What questions should you ask on an ICO thread? on: January 08, 2018, 06:34:40 PM
Look into their team, I know it's not a question but it is very important.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do holidays affect the outcome of the launched ICO? on: December 24, 2017, 11:05:26 AM
I do think it has an affect also this time of year I imagine isn't the best for investments anyways.

You can't control the market and how the prices change, but you can choose a time where there is no holidays, so make it easier to be more successful. No need to make it harder!
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why some ICOs Block investors from USA? on: December 24, 2017, 11:00:50 AM
Due to US regulations from the SEC.

You can read all about their rules and regulations on their gov website, but basically it is easier and less complicated for ICO's to put up a terms and conditions stating you are not a US citizen.

If you still choose to invest it is at your own risk rather than the ICO's. I am sure there are still plenty of ICO's that have been invested into by Americans as it hard to know where someone is from.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: December 24, 2017, 10:58:37 AM
I am a big supporter of Etheruem, but even I think it will not overtake Bitcoin anytime soon.

Bitcoin has a global brand, is a lot more valuable and has been around a lot longer.

Maybe in 10 years time this might be different, but I do not see it changing anytime soon.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts on pre-ICO lockups? on: December 24, 2017, 10:01:19 AM
It is needed.

I looked into Crowdholding as a potential investor and there are two things stopping me from investing.

- Pre-ICO lock - Why would I invest if there are more of a gamble of people dumping what I would be purchasing? (they have completed this)

- Need more investment - I need to see that other people are adopting the idea so I am looking for them to be around 60/70% complete before I invested.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crowdholding - Your thoughts? on: December 24, 2017, 09:58:33 AM
Interesting project, they need to get the word out more to become bigger!

I would only consider investing if I saw they were getting close to completing their target, as of now they are miles away.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crowdholding - Your thoughts? on: December 18, 2017, 11:46:15 AM
I like the idea in concept but I don't see the return on investment for investors that's why they haven't raised much.

I also don't think it is a groundbreaking idea but more tried and tested. Suppose if they manage to become the next Product Hunt they will become big.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TOP ICOs with a well working product on: December 09, 2017, 09:18:26 PM
Hey everyone.

I found this video about 3 undervalued ICO's and Crowdholding was included, what does everyone think?

178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 3 undervalued ICO's on: December 09, 2017, 08:56:36 PM
Like how people are throwing some other undervalued ICO's, maybe we should contact the youtube guy to give his opinion on the ones that people have put forward.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 95% of Cryptocurrencies will Not Survive in 2018 on: December 06, 2017, 05:12:42 PM
There are a lot of bad ideas and altcoins that have no use, but that happens in any ecosystem.

I think 95% is a little high though and I wouldn't throw that number out without any data or backing.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Network Crashing?? on: December 06, 2017, 04:51:22 PM
Blame the kittens, although this is a good thing every huge network needs to be constantly stress tested.
