I like the simple interface of your VPN app.
I don't know if it's my network but I was unable to connect with the app on my mobile device. Then again, I think you need users to drop good reviews for your VPN app on Google Play Store to gain more traction and download.

I think your trust in the person made you fall for this scam. You could have digged deeper and consult others before putting in all your crypto worth into a scam token. While there are many scam projects, we still have a couple of legit crypto projects springing up. One Ned's to carry out due diligence to sift through.

Any project that promises outrageous promise or returns or the next Bitcoin or Ethereum is most likely a scam. The project team must also have verifiable digital footprints and experience/contributions to the blockchain space.

Sorry for your loss anyway, you should bounce back stronger. Don't give up crypto.

There are a couple of ways you can promote your Telegram channel:
1. Do giveaway on Bitcointalk or Twitter requiring people to follow your channel and provide evidence. (if it's a group, include captcha to prevent bot).
2. Pay a KOL on Twitter or YouTube to promote your channel.
3. Run a gleam contest.

These are some of the ways that come to mind and they are effective in driving the traffic that you need.

The introduction of merit system to Bitcointalk is a great idea aimed to reduce spamming and low quality contributions. But I believe that it should be implemented in a way that also favors newbies in ranking up. Some members are engaged in merit racketeering or trading, and that may make it harder for low ranked members to rank up as they do not belong to this "special group".

HODL is still valid but for just a select few cryptocurrencies. I was once trapped like this holding the wrong altcoins. I sold my BTC looking to invest in the next big crypto project in 2017. My crypto portfolio performed woefully when I missed the bull forming HODLer because of some influencers I listened to as I never had my strategy then. I FOMOed into some projects that never really worth it and just 2 years later, they are worth nothing.

Many have abandoned further development of their project. My advice is, if you are hodling any token for long term purpose, do check how the project is doing from time to time to know how it's performing. And never invest more than you can afford to lose.

Having participated in all these fundraising methods, I agree with you that IEO remains the safest, especially when it's the one conducted on top global centralized exchanges like Binance. However, the other methods like IDO have their own benefits too as it is decentralized but it carries serious risks if the project is an untrusted one. It gives quick route for fake projects to exit scam or rug pull. I have been a victim of a few.

I think these scams could affect on crypto reputation, as many newbies, especially reach ones would like to make a house on firm and safe ground, I wonder how we can help to reduce scams on DEXes?I know with code analysis we can guess that more likely but what about those ones who don't know the coding that much? how we can find out potential scams before they pull the rug?

This is a question that has been bothering me too as I have been a victim of buying into scam projects on Bounce Finance platform before. The project raised about 7500 ETH and then listed for a while on Uniswap with very poor liquidity, deleted the TG group and cut off all communications with investors. No project development. They just shared the ETH and disappeared.

This is a downside of decentralization as anyone can list a token on this platform. But as it is commonly mentioned, do your own research. I don't ignore any red flag again.
