163  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there a Crypto Index? on: January 22, 2018, 12:17:17 AM
There are a few security-style ICOs/tokens that claim to track an basket of coins, presumably by holding those coins in the underlying asset and being redeemable.

I know of Crypto20, but I am not looking for an investment fund, but something like an index and possibly other indexes by sector. Nowadays - Insurance, Payment tools, chain tech, ai, logistics....
164  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there a Crypto Index? on: January 22, 2018, 12:14:51 AM
Yes, search "metaindex"

Although to be honest, just following the crypto total market cap or the price of bitcoin itself will give a pretty clear indication on the market.

You have a point in there. Everything is much too related to bitcoin with all those trading and arbitrage bots, but still, I would like to see the evolution on an index. Thanks for the tip.
165  Economy / Economics / Re: Communist Chinese government popped the Cryptocurrency bubble in East Asia. on: January 17, 2018, 11:30:47 PM
At least governments in North America and Europe won't do this anytime soon.

Oh, I donīt really know, but what I would like to point out is that the Chinese government has very long ago ceased to be communist. It is now some short of communal capitalist dictatorship...
166  Economy / Economics / Is there a Crypto Index? on: January 17, 2018, 11:28:54 PM
I think it would be very interesting to have some short of crypto index, like the FTSE or the NIKKEI with the main cryptos and tokens out there to have a grasp of the market. An ideally, there could be some secondary indexes.
167  Economy / Economics / Re: Your bitcoin experience, how did it started? on: January 17, 2018, 11:24:05 PM
A friend told me that some people she knew had become millonaires investing early in Bitcoin. I think that is no longer possible to become rich just holding, so I am actively investing.
168  Economy / Economics / Re: Best tip on saving money on: January 17, 2018, 11:20:28 PM
It is a good idea to always keep 10% to spend in luxuries and things you donīt really need. Even if you use only 5% thatīs fine. As strange as this may seem, it will make you not feel poor and avoid binge spending.
169  Economy / Economics / Re: Make money from money on: January 17, 2018, 08:38:13 PM
Investors have an eagle eyes to figure out good investment opportunity (most times). They also know how to source for capital when they have insufficient to pursue a particular investment. They understand the risk in investment and so dust up themselves when they fall. They obviously understand that money is used to make more money and the rule of invest more to increase your profit comes to play like trading with more bitcoin value is expected to give you more in the future.

There are many types of investors. I like the Venture Capitalist because they invest in companies that eventually generate innovation for everyone to use. With ICOs I sometimes feel like a VC LOL
170  Other / Archival / Re: Are you worried? on: January 17, 2018, 08:26:34 PM
Since the market is going down and down are you worried about your Bitcoin? I saw someone asking what to do with his/her bitcoin? S/he has 12 bitcoin. What are you doing with your bitcoin?

I am not worried about bitcoin, because I have decided long time ago that Bitcoin was not going to be my main investment. I am worried about the efffect that Bitcoinprice has over the rest of the market. But, whatever... I will buy cheap now.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how can i search good airdrops?? on: January 17, 2018, 08:20:35 PM
hello, please suggest me. how can i find good upcoming airdrops??
Finding airdrops is difficult now because there are a lot of fake and scam projects who takes their free tokens. But you can use this channel in Telegram https://t.me/freetokensnews I hope it will be usefull for you

That is kind of FUD really. An airdrop is not going to take your tokens, it is basically a giveaway and if it is asking for something else appart from email and electronic address... just donīt
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Any legit airdrops? on: January 17, 2018, 08:18:48 PM
Guys, any legit airdrops?

I canīt think of any that are ilegit. Basically an airdrop is free so you can waste a bit of time. You may try to avoid those that require to install closed source software or do a KYC.
173  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Which countries have zero taxation of Bitcoin revenues? on: January 16, 2018, 12:46:15 PM
I have read that the two best ones in Europe are Denmark and Germany, but I am sure that Leinchestein and Monaco are quite favourable for tax purposes.
174  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I've made 600k in Crypto - When to call it quits on: January 14, 2018, 11:41:20 PM
This is definitely not the right time  to quit. More People are getting used to the crypto experience. I bet you may not make as much as 600K in the same time frame in the corporate world, unless you have a one-in-a-million idea to sell to the world.

It is not bad however to take a bit instead of staying all in. After all this is a risky market and if thing go south you may very well get a psychological impact if you loose an amount of money means something to you.
175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Re bitcoin can be hacked on: January 13, 2018, 12:08:58 AM
With poor regolamentation in term of cryptocurrency, hackers and scammers are more stimolated to rob bitcoins. They kinda risk nothing with super high profit, what cant they ask more.

Normally a hacker would weight cost and benefit, so many times protection is not about making something impossible but rather make it too expensive.
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and pollution on: January 13, 2018, 12:06:56 AM
What do you think about the facts about bitcoin and pollution? can this disadvantage repel future investors? are there any solutions for this problem?
A significant amount of miners in China use power that is generated from hydro plants, so bitcoin is not as polluting as people think, while hydro plants require to change the landscape in order to produce energy once all that is done is one of the cleanest forms of creating electricity so to make this assertion that bitcoin is polluting the planet seems to an exaggeration.

Whatever energy you use for bitcoin is energy that you cannot dedicate to other uses. So even that energy is renewable, it means that non renewable energy has to be consumed for other uses. It would only work if every bitcoin farm invested to have their own clean power supply.

The obvious solution would be to radically change the way bitcoin is mined. As we all know, that is not possible at the moment as Bitcoin is kidnapped by a band of large farms and has lost the community guidance. Eventually, that may kill the coin.
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Why do Full Memebers and above like so much promoting betting? on: January 12, 2018, 11:34:10 PM
I have observed that among the many bounty signatures out there many high ranking members choose casinos and online gambling... Are those the ones that pay best?
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Destroyed my life-bitcoin Investor on: January 12, 2018, 11:32:25 PM
I'm going to be as honest and blunt as possible. You need to find better things to write on your website than Reddit stories from 3 years ago if you want it to succeed. That story is irrelevant today.
This is the original comment: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/2keueb/my_thanks_to_you_all_bitcoin_has_changed_my_life/clkmqp9/
I hope this guy is in a better condition now. If he held his Bitcoin that would be $700k now.

On a side note, it now seems that we will truly be at 10k soon.

I think that the story is really bad, I mean as literature. However the message may be correct. Just invest what you can afford to loose. And that includes being able to loose it also in psychological terms.
