I really hope the price holds, this is a very unstable period due to those F**kers of the CME that what to have a pice of the cake! Futures will give the possibilty to short bitcoin and this will ruin it's rise or maybe it will help it more who knows.

[Q] How many transactions per sec can DeepOnion handle?[Answer]: The transactions per second depends on the block size and block interval. The average transaction size is about 500 Bytes. The DeepOnion blocksize is 1.5MB, so each block can hold about 3000 transactions. Now the block interval: DeepOnion is a mixed PoW/PoS coin, PoW interval is 240 second on average, but PoS is a lot more frequent, target at 60 sec. This means our theoretical combined block time is 48 seconds (240 / 5). To verify this, we checked last 24 hours blocks, this is what we get: - block 223460 occurs at Nov 25, 2017 11:59:36AM - block 225285 occurs at Nov 26, 2017 11:59:05AM This means we have 1825 blocks in 24 hours, which means our average block time is 47 second, which perfectly matches our designed target block time. Thus, we have one block 48 second, which can handle 3000 transactions, this mean DeepOnion can handle the maximum transaction rate: 3000/48 = 62.5 tx/second. As a comparison: bitcoin has block interval 600 sec, and has a block size of 1MB, this translate to a maximum process rate of 3-4 tx/second. Even with BitcoinCash which increases block size to 8MB, that can process only about 27 tx/second. DeepOnion is much better that this!!! Our network has always been extremely fast from the very first day, I don't recall ever having a problem with the DeepOnion Network, POS, POW, everything is still as smooth as the first day we launched. I have seen many new coins going through multiple forks just to get their POS and POW re target balance right. We basically had a perfect start from the get go, so when I hear people asking when is the next fork it really boggles the mind, Only when we start development on Deepsend will we require a fork I believe. On another note Well done DeePonion for reaching another milestone of 2000 pages , this has surely gotten off to a flying start back in June, couple months later and we still chugging along growing day by day and being one of the most active forums on BCT. Its sad to see the scam attempt site but in this reality people will always exploit anything to steal form others. Luckily we an active community and when Dev announced the scam it was already posted in social media few minutes later to warn the public of the rogue website. It also show how popular DeepOnion has become due to its growing nature. I hope peopl dont fall victim to this scam attempts and do their due diligence when trying to invest in the project.
