161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP really better than ETH??? on: December 29, 2018, 09:26:42 PM
If XRP is better, then it means we are admitting that centralization is better than decentralization in the crypto space. Then it also means we are agreeing that some specific people who are the team of a project, having a coin that already listed, to hold very large amount of out and be able to dump on investors by the time they have been able to achieve the target price. What I am saying in essence is that, Ethereum to me is still the best.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will waves price touch $5 by the end of this 2018? on: December 29, 2018, 08:32:39 PM
This is what so many people have been waiting for, but it is quite unfortunate that it has gone below the highest price we saw earlier. I can still remember that I saw the posts of some people excited about the increase in price and were waiting for more increase and little do they know that there cannot be continual uptrend without retracing. This year is gone already, but this might be possible in 2019, when the bull run sets in.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook is Developing a Cryptocurrency on: December 29, 2018, 08:31:49 PM
If Facebook will be integrating WhatsApp into the system, that will be a good connection, because there are so many users on these two platforms, both Facebook and WhatsApp. The two have already built reputation and are popular, so I envisage a successful project already from their end. Investors will be excited are ready to invest in the cryptocurrency,  even before it lunches on exchange.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to invest or wait ? on: December 29, 2018, 08:31:13 PM
If only you can see the opportunities that await every crypto enthusiasts and not just that, but those who truly understand the present situation of the market and how it relates to the future that is imminent, you will not want to miss investing now. Although, it entails a careful study. If you wait, you might not see this opportunity again, nonetheless, you should do it with care.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH so popular on: December 27, 2018, 08:23:45 PM
The popularity of ETH is not tied to anything, except for the fact that its platform is very much useful for ICOs. Getting or creating smart contract on ethereum platform is much easier that any other platform.
I also got to know that ICOs prefer that, because it makes their work earlier. I could remember coming across a project that used the platform of another coin, but while sending tokens they were done manually. Whereas for it is automatically dine on ethereum's platform even at a go.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can we do for shit coins in our wallet? on: December 27, 2018, 08:18:22 PM
I have done some bounty campaigns that were unsuccessful.. Also some were scams. But I have received some tokens from few of that projects. So I need to know this, Is there any opportunity that can I use this tokens?  Smiley Smiley
There are lots of shit coins that some people by chance, have been able to get some profit from, but after that it becomes useful, because nobody will want to buy them. That is more reason you should be very careful of the type of coin to invest in. I have also got some shit coins that I cannot even sell, let alone having any value or even price. Invest in coins that have got good value.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple will Die on: December 27, 2018, 08:14:20 PM
Big/medium banks are never going to use Ripple, theyre only trying it out and will drop it then make their own technology (not de-centralized!)

Blockchain will change how we send money, but not through banks. Theyre completely against de-centralized control of financial system. We need blockchain solutions like Kora (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2876521.0) that are person to person and small business to small business
Just as some people are saying that XRP will recover, some are also busy saying that it will die, which should people the hold unto. This is why research is very essential, most especially for investors. Ripple has got a lot of controversies and some people are against it, because of its centralized nature, while thee are some people who are seriously promoting it, because of the profit they will be getting from it.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your way to find most promising ICOs? on: December 26, 2018, 10:23:20 PM
What pages, channels, blogs etc?
Most times, I go through campaigns managers, which has most times worked four me. If I will be participating in particular bounties managed by some sets of managers, I will also have to do my own assignment as well, by doing my research of the project of choice. If I am okay with it, then fine, but choosing through managers makes the work easier for me.
Some times, I also get them through this forum.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: does ethereum end? on: December 26, 2018, 10:19:03 PM
Ethereum is one of the coins that gas the ability to survive no matter how much it falls. Such has been encountered in this year already and no matter how many times it happens, it will definitely survive.
It has also been seen to increase, despite the present nature of the market. There are also also several other good coins that have good potentials alongside ETH.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if the ICO projects pay the bounty hunters in bitcoin only? on: December 26, 2018, 09:50:22 PM
Do you think paying bounty hunters in bitcoin or ethereum a good idea so that there is uniform payment among the participants? What is your thought about this? Maybe this is the first step to turn back the trust they lost because of mostly valueless coins they offered. What is your thought here guys?
It would have been the most effective means of payment, but it do not know why they are not doing that. At least the accusations levied against bounty hunters would have been eradicated and they would have known that bounty participants are not that ones contributing to dump in price. There are even times I wondered why blame hunters for occurrences like this.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Does ICO and bounty die? on: December 26, 2018, 09:43:30 PM
Hi all. I took part in more than 3 hundred bounties in two year. Last half year there are no pay from project to hunters. Maybe bounty will die or it's transformayion in something other Huh  Huh Huh
This depend on the project you find yourself doing. If you continue to participate in scam projects or  projects that are not well planned, then you might find yourself not getting anything after you might have worked.
This sometimes can be frustrating, but in order to avoid that, you must then research every project you intend to promote, so that you do not work in vain and at the end not get paid
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fiat and crypto: differences explained on: December 23, 2018, 04:36:06 PM
Your explanation is a very useful one, most especially to newbies that are yet to know about cryptocurrency and those who just know the basic, which need mire clarity.
I can confidently say that any day any time, i will always prefer cryptocurrency over fiat, because i am in full control of my asset and i can decide to send it or transact with it at any time that i like or prefer.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is the best decision on: December 23, 2018, 04:28:34 PM
I would have been displeased by now, had it been i did not invest in ethereum during the last dip, most especially seeing now that it is rising. Ethereum shows a lot of potentials and the tendency of rising beyond what it is now. Even if some people have missed the precious dip, there is still opportunity to invest in it now and hodl. There might not be a time like this again, perhaps the next price might be higher.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: No bull run this year?! For real? on: December 23, 2018, 04:24:32 PM
Most of the people said in this board there will be no bull run in the late of 2018 and there is a high probability that bull run comes in mid-2019. What's your thought about it?
What is your own opinion about it? You have only said what people are saying. It dies not look like there will be bull run this year and it's like do many people do not know what bull run is. A mere uptrend in the market dies not mean bull run, rather it might just be a recovery stage. In my opinion, the market is just trying to recover from the previous losses and that seems to have started.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: December 23, 2018, 04:16:03 PM
In the following year ETH will overwtake BTC as the number 1 cryptocurrency. I would dump your bitcoin while despite everything you can.  Undecided
Are you sure of what you are saying? That cannot happen. Just imagine the marketcap between bitcoin and ethereum, the margin is so wide, that i do not see it happening. If you talk of ethereum having more percentage growth than bitcoin, then that can happen. These two coins have got good potentials and we might see them rising more soon, impacting the market positively.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hope ahead for crypto currencies on: December 23, 2018, 03:39:02 PM
With the rate at which cryptocurrency is going or even bitcoin as mentioned, it will not be a bubble and it is not. We are now beginning to see clarity into it. It will definitely rise, but before it will reach the threshold of bubble, there will be a retrace again. It might even fall, to cause another bear, before another eventual rise. In the coming year, we will see a big rise.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ICOs should be protected from dump on: December 21, 2018, 08:30:57 AM
Yes, it sometimes amazes  when I see some spreadsheets containing thousands or participants for content creation and social media bounty, where most of them are proxy accounts, copy and paste of contents of others. In this case there are some managers who care less and at end award those fake and plagiarised contents. I believe the  solutions you provided will work.
Sometimes, project promoters also cause a lot of dump. Take for instance what happened to projects like OMX, FTT and others.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTO MARKET SITUATION. on: December 19, 2018, 01:44:21 PM
We might not be too sure of what would happen yet. The uptrend might be sustained depending on the news that is being peddled. There might also be a big surprise with the continuous increase in price. The bull is likely going to be real. Well, come what may, my portfolio is filled with some coins and I am not ready to sell now. Just waiting for the bull run to commence in the real sense of it.

180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum has begun to show positive trends on: December 19, 2018, 12:27:08 PM
We have been seeing different different trends in the crypto market. If there is any sign of recovery and it is not sustained, then that is no recovery at all.
There seems to be a good uptrend at the moment, if it continues this way, that means it is a deviation from the thought of so many people about the crypto market this year. With time, everything will unfold as it is.
