161  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The gaps between languages on: December 28, 2017, 08:34:45 PM
And what gets lost between them?

If you read a translated book or subtitles you're not reading what the author wrote, it's the translator's effort. I know enough of a couple of languages to know that quite often what's being fed to you is radically different to the original work.

Similarly if you're some guy from Lesotho who only speaks your local dialect, how much of the world's knowledge is being denied to you by the lack of translation? What about your government as they're likely to be the one and only news source in that language? Surely objectivity and neutrality is almost non existent if someone's information sources are that limited. How much of his knowledge is being denied to anyone who doesn't speak what he does?

There must be mountains of information, art and learning that disappears between cultures because of this.

Is this an unpublicised cultural disaster or does the right info always find a way?

In deed, a language is more efficient by the number of words that contains.
162  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Women and Men, are they same? on: December 28, 2017, 08:33:53 PM
I think it's not. But the right should be same for both of them. Discrimination between man and women should not be existed in 20th century. But unfortunately it increases in some region. The explanation of discrimination is  changed though. But i think if we generalize this in the typical way, then we cannot get the positive result.

Men and women are different in - 1. Biologically and
                                               2. Mentally

All the men should be thankful to the women because they could not see the earth if the women did not give birth.Women are much more ahead to get respect than man because mother is the inventor of the universe.Man and woman are like 2 students who got the same marks at the exam. For example, john(man) and rita (women) are friends from same class. They each got 90 marks out of 100 marks which had 10 mathematical problems.

                                                         JOHN          RITA

                                              Q1          8               10
                                              Q2          9                8
                                              Q3         10               7
                                              Q4          9               10
                                              Q5         10              10
                                              Q6          9               10
                                              Q7         10               9
                                              Q8          9                9
                                              Q9          9                7
                                              Q10        7                10

                                            TOTAL      90               90

As we can see they got the same marks in overall but they are not the same in each mathematical problems. I think man and woman are like this. Their rights are the same in overall but their rights in different stages and situations are not the same.Physically a man is more stronger than a women. So,In order to establish the security of the family they have to come forward first. On the other hand a women can be a symbol of peace in the society. In a research, it is seen that the corruption rate is much more higher when the workers are male.Interestingly this rate is very much lower among the female workers.

If man and women would be the same then the answers it should be the same, not only the sum of the questions, so obviously men and woman are not the same.
163  Other / Politics & Society / Re: TIME MACHINE! on: December 28, 2017, 08:32:32 PM

164  Other / Off-topic / Re: education and morality on: December 28, 2017, 08:31:36 PM
education without morality is very dangerous for the society. Educated people are more corrupted than illiterate in all over the world. so. this system of education has to be changed now. But there is a question , how it can be possible and which methods should be followed? Rule of law has an important influence on this but in some places this is not available. So in those countries morality can be the major influential power.
No matter the development level of the country, or national education, the morality is the most important and it starts in the first years of life.
165  Other / Politics & Society / Re: World's smartest ethnic group on: December 28, 2017, 08:29:55 PM
Which group is the world's most smart ethnic group? I guess it is Jews.
Any different thought on this?
I don't agree with jeus, they are businessman's, i would look for the Nobel awards, it can give direction in this topic.
166  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin Volatility Be Controlled? on: December 21, 2017, 10:07:22 PM
I have read some posts and some concerns that it is the volatility of Bitcoin that is preventing many people and many businesses to fully adopt Bitcoin. This can be the main factor why big online shopping stores are not yet adding Bitcoin into their payment facilities (though there is now a circulated petition for this but I doubt if it can make a dent).

Some are really saying that if volatility can be managed then we can see Bitcoin going mainstream. I am wondering then: Is volatility something that we should find a way to control and how do you think it can be done?
Well usually the bitcoin volatility is the results of whales on the marketplace so obviously the volatility can be control by those who has a lot of bitcoin, hundreds of them.
167  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is a whale? on: December 19, 2017, 09:51:31 PM
What is your definition of a whale? How many BTCs do you need to have to be a whale?
To become a whale you must have at least 1 000 bitcoins to be able to manipulate the marketplace. Yes it is a lot of money in our days but couple of years ago was something else.
168  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does Aliens exist? on: December 19, 2017, 09:49:00 PM
As long as out there exist stars and intelligence to understand your surrounding i think that aliens is not a question of if exists but a question of when will they 'officially' come to Earth.
169  Other / Politics & Society / Re: EUROPEAN SUPERSTATE . on: December 19, 2017, 09:47:20 PM
The initial reasons for the implementation of EU regulations was ok considering the financial capacity, those decision made peace in Europe because war in you home country brings no money. But at present time the EU politics is  indeed it a bit sad.
170  Other / Politics & Society / Re: End of the World on: December 19, 2017, 09:42:33 PM
Many people say that we are the last generation of human race. Some say that the end of the world is near. What do you think, how will the world end?
The world won't end, there is always at least one human to stay behind. The topic of world end is a science - fiction topic, i don't believe in the end of the world.
171  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe in god? on: December 19, 2017, 09:40:45 PM
Do you believe in god? If you do, why do you believe? (give a few reasons)

Yes i believe in God because this world is too big to be handled only by humans, and let's be serious it is the only explanation for what is happening around the world, even if there are wars.
172  Other / Politics & Society / Re: purpose of life on: December 19, 2017, 09:39:08 PM
If what your life purpose is not achieved at the age of young to old, what do you do with your own life purpose is not yet achieved it Huh? Forward or surrender to circumstances,

I need help for my consideration opinion?Huh??  Huh
There is a quote in the gym i go and it sounds like this: crying is acceptable, failure is not an option. There is no better way to say that if your purpose is not achieved then you have no reason to stop, keep walking johnny.
173  Economy / Economics / Re: what is the future of Bitcoin ? on: December 19, 2017, 09:31:21 PM
The future of bitcoin is bright, right now is in the spotlight of international financial organizations so if bitcoin represent an interest point then we are on high waves.
174  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: December 19, 2017, 09:29:33 PM
Does anyone have any idea how many people are using gold as a store of value vs btc?  And how long do you think until we have the same user Base as holders of gold?
The evolution of Bitcoin is more spectacular then gold pricing so i go with bitcoin holding, easy money if you have some funds.
175  Economy / Economics / Re: Economical World Of Bitcoin And Its Difficulties on: December 19, 2017, 09:26:03 PM
From many months i am thinking about what if " we remove fiat system , and change things into crypto " .. What are the main difficulties we will face ?

1. Internet every where is not yet done.
2. Awareness with Crypto ( but its not a big thing, as most are aware of how to use currency. )
3. Bitcoin is only 21,000,000 and world population is more. ( This can fix by other altcoins same like USD/RUB/CNY etc )

What other difficulties we can face ?

You forgot to mention the electricity issue because this kind of energy is not available everywhere in the world and the technological problem, not everybody has a pc or smart phone.
176  Economy / Economics / Re: Israeli PM: Bitcoin Could Replace Banks on: December 19, 2017, 09:21:07 PM
I think this is the first time a PM makes such a statement.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/israeli-pm-bitcoin-could-replace-banks

In a video published on Tuesday, Israeli Prime Minister (PM) Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that the operation of traditional banks will eventually become obsolete and could be replaced by Bitcoin. He based his claim on the trustless nature of Blockchain technology and on Bitcoin’s continuous, notable growth this year.

In the video, Netanyahu stated confidently that banks will eventually become outmoded and be replaced, though when and by what exactly remains to be seen:

“Is the fate of banks that they will eventually disappear? Yes. The answer is yes. Does it need to happen tomorrow? And do we need to do it through Bitcoin? That’s a question mark.”

...
“The truth behind what I just said is what’s propelling Bitcoin upwards.”

However, the prime minister also expressed doubt in the ability of Bitcoin to continue growing at such an astonishing rate, stating:

“There’s nothing like this, that will continue rising at this rate, it can’t happen.”

I’ve tried to watch the video to see if the article is interpreting well Netanyahu’s statements, but it seems it is in Hebrew and I can’t understand anything.

We have seen people of this forum saying that thanks to bitcoin, banks won’t be needed any more, but I don’t remember an important politician making statements like that.

What do you think about?

At some point it is impossible to avoid evolution, the same goes with banks, if they don't adapt then they will vanish like dinosaurs.
177  Economy / Economics / Re: Largest bubble ever? Only the fourth so far! on: December 19, 2017, 09:18:09 PM
1 Bitcoin 2011
2 Bitcoin end 2013
3 Bitcoin early 2013
4 Bitcoin 2017 (ongoing...)
5 Tulip-mania 1637

Charts here : http://gautiersblog.blogspot.ch/2017/12/larget-bubble-in-history.html
Bitcoin is not a bubble, this cryptocurrency and the technology behind it is the enheratege from Mr. Satoshi, he is the proof that everything is possible as long as you believe in it and even if many sayed that bitcoin is a bubble, it already has some years
178  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I stop Buying BTC? on: December 19, 2017, 09:15:34 PM
Should I stop buying BTC for above market value or should I start paying the listed price? I support Bitcoin and still pay 5k a BTC does anyone see bitcoin going back up?
When we talk specifically about Bitcoin, even if there are up's and down's Bitcoin will continue to grow even if it is not directly reflected in the price, he consolidate his market position in each minute.
179  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Can Be A Savior! on: December 19, 2017, 09:13:22 PM

In specific countries like Venezuela and Zimbabwe, Bitcoin is working as a savior for the many as their respective economies and political systems have been rocked by turmoil and uncertainties. This has become of the inspiring roles Bitcoin has been playing for some number of people and I think as time goes on this role can be magnified in other parts of the world as well.

Now, what is this telling us. One thing for sure: During economic and political distress Bitcoin can be the best tool for people to survive economically as well as to protect their remaining assets from being swallowed by the government-sponsored economic meltdown.

Bitcoin can indeed be a savior!
It depends of the country we talk about, if there is a military conflict , dictature and so on, but generally yes, the blockchain technology and even bitcoin with his value can help a country to get out from the pitt.
180  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: December 19, 2017, 09:11:31 PM
If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.
even if the gold is beautiful, popular and shiny but i go 100% with bitcoin , now that it has a heal;thy history and a good evolution it represent the best investment, even better then gold.
