161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Technobabble? Too ahead of their time? Or truly next up? HOLO?? on: June 04, 2020, 05:13:52 AM
What do you think of Holo (HOT) ??
Are they still gonna deliver?
I haven't heard about them in a while, seems like dev teem kinda gave up on the project or something shady is happening they not announce.
I don't think that the coin itself will die soon, because even tho top100 of CMC sounds kinda lame - its $100mil market cap, a lot of people believed and invested in it.
162  Economy / Economics / Re: The pandemic outcome on: May 12, 2020, 03:35:08 PM
This pandemic brings serious problems to every country's economy, and also making many people jobless. But in the case of traders and investors, still they can hodl and get money from their investment which is a good thing and advantage about making business with cryptocurrency.
recently I realized that world economy and each country individually are profiting from investors and hodlers who live off of dividends and trading profits
simply because even if they are not investing in own country's company, they still are spending spare money in it
163  Economy / Economics / Re: The pandemic outcome on: May 01, 2020, 07:09:53 AM
Some countries provide financial support to their citizens during this pandemic. You need to find out what money you can get from the state, and take advantage of this opportunity. If you have lost your job, it makes sense to look for online earnings. Some of these methods don't even require special skills. You need to save money and write all your expenses in a diary. This way you can optimize your expenses.
Yeah at this point govs take some of troubles and divide it on every citizen of the country, so you better use this advantage otherwise you lose a lot of value overnight.
Moreover, if every person will optimize expenses we might feel just fine and recover economy fast enough we won't notice really
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum 2.0 Ready For the Bull Run? on: April 24, 2020, 02:01:04 PM
The initial launch of Ethereum 2.0 is just around the corner and analysts are predicting that it may be the catalyst for a massive bull run. A bull run like this could completely transform the industry and alter the finance industry forever.
Here is what analysts are saying: https://blockchain.news/opinion/is-ethereum-2-ready-for-the-bull-run
Realistically, is Ethereum 2.0 ready for a bull run?
I believe it has great potential and is slowly actualizes it. But with all my sympathy to eth its not enough.
There will be positive effect on eth's price after its PoS is finally out. But it won't be a long run and it won't flip the industry as we wish.
It will happen with ethereum only when it will improve payment options - lesser fee, faster transactions, an easy way to get eth-card (or more hot wallets with an option to pay through nfc).
anyway, my point is - there will be no long bull run and/or social media resonance after eth2.0 is out because it is not a game-changer feature (same as btc's halving)
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I earn money during coronavirus? Is it possible by crypto coins? on: April 02, 2020, 10:21:10 AM
Most people around the world are being haunted by the Corona virus and may be a way to earn money using crypto by trading. You can still benefit by trading top coins in large exchanges, or take part in some online jobs and even better if you have expertise in the internet field, you might be able to earn extra income.
there is an opportunity for every person to trade coins and tokens in order to get profit and pay bills.
however chances are very slim that someone could do that consistently
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token burning on: March 18, 2020, 10:59:47 AM
A token burn is still useless if there is no demand for the token. Most projects do a token burn hoping that the price will rise due to less token circulation but this doesn't work if there is no demand.
It's the most useless process i have ever seen around in economical aspects.
It is totally useless thing for a new token to do, since it kills the demand which is not high for new token.
However I find it quite useful for high demand coin/token since the supply will be lower than demand and the price will be straight higher
167  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Advantages of bitcoin cloud mining on: March 08, 2020, 10:28:29 AM
The advantage or the risk is greater than the advantage or the profit, the risk is when cloud mining ceases to operate and there is no way investors can get their money back, we have seen this happens so many times, cloud mining is not popular today, you can attract newbies who does not do research.
I agree to this word when it comes to risk:profit ration.Cloud mining is long time non profitable when bitcoins mining difficulty rised up.
Only for those miners who do reside on places where electricity is cheap and to those who are financially capable on buying these expensive miners.
With cloud mining services, you cant even reach up your ROI until your contract had expired which means? You already lose money.
This info should be spreaded a lot more, I see these threads quite often and since threads are coming in - forum (and crypto in general) newcomers are expecting cloud mining to be profitable.
168  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency can not replace fiat currency. on: March 01, 2020, 11:32:49 AM
You actually did not give strong reasons why cryptocurrency can't replace fiat currency. Cryptocurrency can actually/theoretically do most things fiat currencies can do, but I doubt typical fiat currencies can safely do most things cryptocurrency can do with losing their centralization. Besides, government can run their fiats on Blockchain or other real decentralized system.

Crypto could actually work better in rural areas than fiat, even without relying too much on internet. But I believe safe/crypto-friendly worldwide rural internet coverage is a possibility in the future
yeah exactly. "it will be hard to adopt" is not the real reason why cryptocurrencies won't replace fiat its an excuse not to work hard for the result imo.
I see only one reason why crypto can possibly not become next fiat - people's skepticism about crypto and blockchain overall.
But honestly I think its a matter of time when most of population will understand and accept digital currencies.
169  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: February 26, 2020, 05:12:54 PM
Quote
99% of the world's population still does not understand, do not know and do not trust Bitcoin. And everything is fine. Bitcoin adoption is a lengthy process that may take decades or centuries to happen.

That is right because most of the people I encountered thinks that bitcoin is a networking or worst scam. But I have talked to someone whom I cannot judge up to extent he knows about bitcoin. He knows how to mine. He said he will used raspberry pi in mining then I told him how I am earning crypto and he said "posting quotes". Hmm, I do stopped and think that he does not know about this thing. Maybe he knows trading and mining and thats all. Looks like he does not know alts too.

I do not spend my bitcoin because my target for this year is to earn more bitcoin and if there will be a chance that bitcoin price will rise up again, I will sell those I have saved and continue to get some more bitcoins and other cryptos.
Unfortunately, humanity isn't evolved enough to keep up with fresh and valuable info all at once. It takes time to seize everyone's attention and reliance step by step
170  Economy / Economics / Re: Using of Blockchain in Election on: February 20, 2020, 02:30:17 PM
Good ideas when blockchain technology adpted in election system, right now many countries always use bad system when election time, we do not know who is the winner because system look old and not allowing with digital technology era.
Using blockchain in election doesn't mean that it will literally remove all election fraud. But adopting this technology can definitely improve the system of election. Less mistakes and failures from the system they're currently using. In my country, during elections we often experience machine failure it's because of the lack of development. There will always be manipulation when it comes to election because of those greedy people but I believe that it will lessen these kind of things.
Blockchain election system can be quite profitable for us - people by clarifying the election process.
But I've seen some people making hype about everything with "blockchain" label on it because it is about adopting technologies.
I personally don't think that blockchain elections will make bitcoin any bit stronger
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment Advice for year 2020 on: February 08, 2020, 07:06:16 AM
Bitcoin is Bitcoin, we are looking forward to upcoming mining and hope for the better. At the same time buying new and cheap altcoins may be very risky.

Actually it is risky to buy even those old ones like XRP or LTC, because they are falling for a long time now.
But unfortunately they' re not going anywhere, so newcomers will keep losing money on them
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How diversified are you in Altcoins in Q1 2020? on: February 03, 2020, 02:26:00 PM
I mean out of my cryptocurrency portfolio alts take no more than 40%
But whole cryptocurrencies take no more than 20% out of my whole portfolio.
So my alts choice is IOTA and TRX
173  Economy / Economics / Re: Goverments creating digital currencies - Threat or Opportunity? on: January 29, 2020, 10:08:39 AM
Some governments recently try to create their own crypto currencies (e.g. China), according to reports. Some welcome this as a good step towards mass adoption of cryptocurrencies, others don't like it. Still, the crypto media welcomes this and we should consider whether this is good news in general or not.

What would be your opinions be on this? Should more and more governments create their own digital currencies and introduce them to their population or should we not support the creation of digital currencies made by governments?
To some group of thought it may means that it will create adoption to crypto currency of which I do believe same but it is not a good for reason being that  government will gain control over the said coins which is contrary to the issue if decentralization policy agent we are agitating for.

Unfortunately gov's digital currencies are threat to current crypto market because of one thing (at least) - gov's currency will be widely spread and highly usable which is not applicable to most of the decentralized cryptocurrencies.
If current cryptos will come up with some usability features - gov's won't have a chance to beat 'em, but otherway govs will take the whole game under control.
Because people and their demand controls the market. And people do not need unusable currencies
crypto market will remain as thing to gamble on and/or to invest in if it won't change
174  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese New Year - Crypto Market on: January 21, 2020, 09:12:58 AM
Chinese New Year in the past years (in exception of 2017) was celebrated in February and they were all green. So if the price holds until the Chinese new year, then history will hold true.

But I don't think price went high in 2018 on the Chinese new year episode because 2018 was really bear for bitcoin and crypto which we are about coming out from lately. Therefore, I'm trying to see the relationship of them all with the Chinese new year.
Unfortunately for all traders there are no strict rules in market's behavior.
There could be a correlation between Chinese new year and Btc's price, but its all more of a repetitive coincidence than a rule
175  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Thought I got scammed but now what? on: January 08, 2020, 04:03:07 AM
I'm sorry to say but you have just been scammed. As for me, when it comes to trading, you shouldn't trust anybody especially when it comes to referrals. Even a trusted friend referred you to trading company will not give you any guarantee that you wouldn't get scammed. That's the reason why we have to learn everything about trading first so we wouldn't have to entrust it with other people. That's a lesson for you to take. You have to be wiser this time and try to continue learning about trading.

Can't underestimate the value of these words - do your own research before even moving your finger.
Anyway I don't understand what for a trusted friend could tell "hi I've invested in this company and got my funds back they are totally ok"
I mean this friend either gain from you being scammed or really got his funds back.
