162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats the Best Alt Coin Going?? on: January 30, 2014, 06:43:50 PM
In your option what is the best alt coin to mine currently given difficulty etc??

It would depend on your specific goals and objectives.

best answer

Too generic answer.

Stay tuned with Betacoin since it's the best ROI for the time being because it is really decentralized, no premined
and currently the difficulty is low which is foreseen to rise.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats the Best Alt Coin Going?? on: January 30, 2014, 06:40:29 PM
Betacoin my friend and that's it. It's preparing to dethrone BTC.
Stay tuned.

Betacoin. Google could give you more than 10 reasons. If people find it they stop asking the same question and start investing or mining it. For the following four i don't care.
168  Other / Meta / Re: It's Time For Theymos To Kill The Alt Section on: January 29, 2014, 08:20:45 PM
I believe that this is the most visited forum on this site. Killing the alt sections can likely kill this website.

Exactly who cares about BTC anymore...

Bitcoins have become too expensive. Most people aren't into cryptocurrencies because they think it's the future. They're into them because they think they'll make money. The BTC boat has sailed- there is still room for growth, in fact quite a bit- but most people are looking into altcoins to make the money they could have made as early adopters of Bitcoins.

Still do not see a single reason why a Home Miner should mine Bitcoins. It is not profitable any more. What's in it for him?
On the other hand big corporations with huge amount of Hashing power receive the BIG bucks.

The alt coins are more decentrallized than ever, affordable and could give you ROI.

Why don't you limit posts in Altcoin section to > Sr. Members ?

That would be quite extreme. Especially given that the majority of "new" devs wouldn't even be able to post about their own coins.
The majority of new coins are scams anyways.
Something has to be done, I used to post and read a lot in the alt section but now it's not worth anyone's time, there is too much garbage. Too many bots and new users are in there trying to scam..Even though I have more value in alts than in bitcoin, I'd gladly support forcing the change.

Or you can be more sincere and say that you just  are afraid that some Alt may dethrone BTC....  Roll Eyes

Lol, which alt might that be?

Google and my signature could give you many answers!
I don't want and don't need to spam!  Roll Eyes

172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Selling Betacoin on E-bay. on: January 29, 2014, 08:00:29 PM
I have bought many times successfully through ebay.

There is no risk there since they have the Buyer protection program
and the funds are reserved at the seller's side for 21 Days.
So he must be a moron if he tries to screw you in any case  Wink
