Mintpal down, DRK recovering while BTC is going to a 2014 low.
If mintpal has gone away with all the coins you woudn't see a recovering on DRK.
Its a shame they did dissapear for days without leaving any words before.
Thats no way to do bussiness. Hopefully they have to pay for that with loosing volume.
But Crypto community is too stupid to act as it should be. They will onöy be happy

Frantic trading on BTCe Bitcoin / USD market. The battle for the future is being fought as we speak. Market hammered down to 350 in the last hour, but demand still seems healthy. 60 BTC sellwall placed right on 350 got eaten in about 30 seconds. So it seems that when real liquidity appears there's significant demand but when granular BTC is all that's being traded the price drifts down. Oooops !! 100 BTC sellwall placed as I speak - lets see what happens to this.................some major dumping happening. That isn't getting eaten and the market's suddenly at a standstill. Nobody knows which way this is going to go. If it shoots back up that 100 BTC's dust. On the other hand if the 350 support disappears we may be headed for the $200's and back to 2013 prices. ..349 ...348 panic setting in. BTCe trollbox busy. Called the Internet Organised Crime Threat Assessment (iOCTA), the report examines the use of bitcoin on various dark web sites, by organised crime and individual actors, and calls digital currencies an ‘enabler’ for cryber-criminals and a challenge for law enforcement.
However, it makes a clear distinction between bitcoin and digital currencies designed with true anonymity in mind, like darkcoin, warning:
“We feel it should concern everyone that the latest cyber currencies are intended to be truly anonymous and to facilitate anonymous transactions. We face a situation where law enforcement may be completely unable to trace even very large criminal transactions.”
BUMP This is a key point for failing the sucesss of DRK coin. The only question is at which point of time will the western world police stop DRK. Its the most thing they are scared about - A anon cash they can't control with their central banks. They will do the same with DRK as they did with gold and silver. They manipulate the markets to scare people and mainstream media will do their work to blame DRK. Evan as core developer who created DRK is a public person, nothing easier to stop him. I am behind the DRK project because i think free people need a free money that cant be controled by anyone. Not to do any crime related things, only to be sure i have privacy, nothing more, nothing less. But this wish is not realistic in a world with modern slaves. Thats not good. Users are directly named as criminals. That shows the real potential of Darkcoin. The most crypto community is too stupid to recognice that. Stop dreaming of getting rich quick people.
The dumping we are seeing at the moment is bag holders realising that we are looking at several years before DRK gains greater adoption.
DARKCOIN IS LESS THAN A YEAR OLD!
Where was Bitcoin after 1 year? Darkcoin is going to boom and crash and boom and crash and gradually gain momentum over time.
Besides, why the comparison to BTC? DRK is not trying to replace BTC. It is filling a gap that BTC does not cover.
looks like no alt coin will ever come back. Crypto currency is dead. Precious metal is dead, and the inflatinary stockmarket and $ market is the ultimate asset. No place for any currency outside the $. NA and Europe is bankrupt and banksters are still playing their games and scam out the last penny out of middle class people. Work as long as you are able to work for big companies for nearly nothing and maximize their profits until you are broken or catched by cancer. |

The price we see now is probably in the range what DRK is worth at this point.

Not to be an ass, but is it really that damn hard to get the decimal point in the right place? DRK price is WAY higher than 0.002 right now. Hey, what do you expect in a downtrend market. The BTC downtrend is 9 month now and no fresh money is comming into the market. Nearly all people getting into the BTC bubble and after that joined the alt market have a loss of 90 %minimum. In this environment DRK has done more than good. How much are dead now ? LTC is 1/10 worth of its ATH. At some point of time BTC will come back and with it DRK also. |

Hey, Can somebody explain this?  I restarted the daemon and restarted the masternode from the remote wallet. No change. hmmmm. Give it some time and it might come back. Worst case, you'll have to get new IP, create new MN Key and restart Try to delete peers.dat on local and remote or reload the whole blockchain again. Start masternode again. Should be done with that. If not setup a new ip |

Do you really think paypal accepting bitcoin / darkcoin will be good for the price of the coins.
I don't think so because all conis received by paypal will be converted to fiat directly.
I haven't seen the details of paypal's charging structure for BTC use, but if it's cheaper than regular paypal, the demand I believe will outstrip the dumping and a price rise will ensue. Perhaps the bigger eventual benefit though is in raised public awareness - paypal are playing with fire here, a lot of people hate them but aren't aware of any alternative - that's about to change, and again, IMO this will push BTC price up through increased demand. All i know about paypal is that it is often named feepal or painpal, so if they take the risk dor accepting a highly volatile currency they will charge a fat fee. If you want to trasfer currency international for example from europe to australia buy btc with € transfer on zero fee and convert in AU$, no need to pay 5-10% fee to paypal |

Little question; I have 4 masternode. 7 days past. But one masternode not received any coins. Only half.  According to you, what is the problem? Thanks. Looks like you have two who get much more than expected, one normal and one bad one. Alltogether you made more than me - over 10days now no payment. Two times payee from a pool that does not pay, one not detected and one innemlist. |

Curious.. anyone check their wallet vs block explorer? Buddy noticed his was about 10% different. Mines close-ish...
His addy hasnt changed from I could see... normal Qt based wallet...
Any others have the same issue?

It's the same as bitcoin. Your wallet does cointain more than one single receiving adress. Blockexplorer only show you one adress. Go to receive tab into your wallet and you will see there are more than one adresses |
