Consider solar please. Else India China have cheap electricity
Solar is FALSE ECONOMY and costs more for startup and payoff is well past the life of the storage batteries x2-x4.

That sounds like a great plan for someone that afford to have a bunch of GPU's sitting around doing nothing (Because power has exceeded profit) or Because they cant afford having the GPU's not making them X amount of $$$ a day so they have to sell their whole rig. A smart person would mine the hell out of those GPU's and wait for the coins to be worth more later when the market shoots up. For people that earn Btc (Nicehash, etc.) with their mining, their earnings will be worth substantially more later if they can sit on the Btc for maybe 6 months...or 2 years. Its all a gamble but the rewards are better than any other financial instrument or stock currently.

Me personally my cards will be mining until the power exceeds what they earn daily. Id rather have the Btc saved up for when it does bounce. But I am waiting for the same mass exit of miners and the market on used GPU's and New also falls to the bottom of the valley. Then Im going in strong and will atleast triple my current size of 20 GPU mini farm. And if this happens... https://finance.yahoo.com/m/0f6b0381-8719-36df-a30b-3c126d20ea33/ss_chart-shows-bitcoin-hitting.html Then Ill be all set and making money hand over fist. Id like to be at some point to the point where I have to call the power company to bring in another power feed and move all my rigs to a prefab shed. They are so much easier to cool and run power in with the walls being opened up.

There are all kinds of meds at "your" disposal to treat "your" anxiety, OCD and anal rententiveness. Come out of the cave and smell the air while watching the butterflies flying around that huge chip on "your" shoulder that helps hold up that big fat head of "yours". If you want to be an english teacher....goto high school and have at it. In public, evetually someone will be bigger than you and beat hell out of you right in front of your old lady. Its your choice as to whether and how much exactly you embarrass yourself. Welcome to the real world...Life...Its a bitch.
It's funny to see people get so defensive when they know they are wrong. Its REAL funny watching someone get the hell beat out of them when "you" know they deserved every bit of it. Behind a keyboard "you" are safe. Outside in the real world, good luck with all that.

If your 1080ti is only making $1 a day you are doing something wrong. I know people running a single 1080ti and they are making $3-$5 per day. Where are you getting your information or what are you mining and on what settings? That $3-$5 per day figure is without running the card intense, unless you consider 65c and 76% TDP to be anything except conservative.
You're doing something wrong if your goal is primarily to make the most $ per day. Maybe we can help you figure it out and optimize.
Would you mind sharing how they're making $3-$5 a day? Thanks. Each of my 1080 (non TI) is making around $1.86 usd per day. Something is wrong with the original scenario. Call me greedy but Im waiting for the nervous people to flood the market with used GPU's which will greatly push prices down. Ill gladly turn my 20 GPU mini farm into a 100 GPU farm. I can turn it off when profits goto shit and I can turn it back on when profits go up. I pAY 4.8 cents kw/h.

Its NOT going to happen this year! You all forget about the MT. Gox trustee that just dumped 406 Million usd worth of Btc on the market since December? What do you think caused the sudden price drop over the last 70 days? Go back and look at the price charts! And the Trustee says he will be selling more in September. He has 1.7 BILLION worth still to sell off. Of course he denies that he is affecting the market. Sure he believes that. https://blockexplorer.com/news/mt-gox-trustee-denies-responsibility-for-bitcoin-price-reversal/

Install win 7 no more auto update.
Haha this is actually a good solution. There are so many times Win10 force the updates even if you don't want them. --ypsi Actually its not. With win 7 you will end up with GPU max number of them limitation.

I will mine even if coin to mine is slightly negative below electric cost. I won't like it but cheaper than paying coinbase fees and it's the best dollar cost average technique
No offense but that logic make no sense what so ever. At the point your electric costs exceed your mining income, you are better off just buying the coin outright than paying a premium for it. Not only do you end up paying more for the coin, but you also place unneeded wear and tear on your mining rig(s). Youve forgotten the fact that he is still mining coins and their value will usually go up over time. So he hasnt "lost" anything unless he sells for a loss... Just like the stock market.

Why does a motherboard use 13 CARDS? Is it just for fun or space? Why not buy a better graphics card?
you cant be serious......and in a mining forum subsection.

Are your risers touching one another at the PCIE slots? This has been a known problem for some motherboards. The problem is that the soldered rear of the adaptors touch the usb socket of the one next to it and that shorts it all out. The fix is stick a piece of non conductive material between them all.

Whomever wrote the above is not only ignorant of the english language but also dumber than owl shit when it comes to lightning/surge protection.
To sum it up... Lightning takes ALL PATHS to ground. All the book knowledge in the world cant make an engineer a field technician and the writings above look to come from an engineer thats got a tiny grasp on the english language. Id pick it ALL apart but Im just no that bored in life.

I saw a GTX 1070 SC for $475 on Amazon yesterday. I was thinking of jumping on it, but figured I could wait a little longer for the market to squeeze weak hands some more.
It's still not profitable. $350 will be good deal In case market rebound of course I wouldnt touch that with even a credit card right now. Just wait a few more months and there will be lots of people jumping ship and selling off their GPU's. Flooding the market, causing prices to drop like a rock. Ill se you all on ebay....bidding against you.

I know for a fact that it will run fine in gen1 or gen2. I have 2 of the motherboards in use now.

I've managed to get 7 cards going on my b250 mining expert so far. On my way to 7 I must have changed some setting incorrectly because my pcie x16 slot doesn't detect any riser plugged into it... (red on the slot detection screen)
Any ideas?
B250 mining expert G3930 4gb ram 1500w psu 1x 980ti 5x 1060 1x 1050ti 120gb ssd - Windows 10
There is a setting in the bios under advanced for the x16 slot. Check yours. This video should help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fNpfOL7ZZA

I believe that the long-term value of bitcoin will be more valuable, but in a very short time, I am very surprised by the continuous price increase.
Experts expect prices to be between $30,000 and $40,000 by the end of the year, and are likely to do so.
You are in denial. The "experts" didnt see the Mt. Gox selloff coming, nobody did. You are just plain dreaming with your 30k-40k fantasyland prices. Especially if Mt. Gox unloads even more of the 1.7 Billion dollars in Btc the rest of this year.

Anyone ever tried the pcie multiplier on a Asus B250 Mining Expert Motherboard to get more than the 13 out of it without using the 6 P106 cards it requires to do just that?

You all need to pay attention to the latest news. The latest major dip in Btc was caused by Mt. Gox trustee selling off 400 million $$ worth of Btc and still has 1.7 Billion $ worth of Btc to sell off yet. Thats right, you read that right... 1.7 Billion Dollars worth. This is going to be ugly for many years to come. https://www.coindesk.com/mt-gox-trustee-sells-400-million-bitcoin-bitcoin-cash/

First of all, do not use SATA. Use either molex or PCI-E. I suppose there is one card now, when you will have more, I think you should go for a modular PSU.
No I am gonna power 12 1050ti with 2 Antec Classic 750W (non-modular, gold). I will start slowly of course, one by one, observing and learning. You arent going to be able to power everything with a 750w 80% efficient power supply. 80% (. of 750w is 600w available power. Max tdp of the 1050 Ti is 75 ( x 12) = 900w and that isnt even including the motherboard, cpu, ssd, etc. You are going to have to spring for a larger power supply and I would get a modular. All of mine are.
