Hi guys, you can see the new application in DeepOnion official forum, it's called DeepPoints sounds good, let's wait and see how it works. DeepPoints will be exciting new feature in our forums all the activities you do in official forums will be monitored and rewarded accordingly. We will give more data soon, lets get 1st our new website ready... That's what I call some great news Is there a kind of limitation for the maximum amount of DeepPoints we can earn per day or per month ? Hope members wont abuse this new reward system. Yes we have daily caps for event but not so much. Moreover we have alot of different point streams (16) and very hard to abuse the system. Because we have a great moderating team. Point streams ?? you mean there are 16 ways to earn those DeepPoints ? (creating topic/posting/getting likes ...) right ? yes these are some of these streams LOGIN UPLOAD AVATAR Get Follower Lose Follower Poll Get a Vote Receive Profile Post Like Report Post Receive Post Like Create New Thread Thread get Reply New Post I don't know why, but i've got the feeling that the new automated airdrop process will be using those points! Like having X points every week in order to stay in the drop! Just my guess...

Gate.io - new player ( Domen Creation Date: 2017-07-21 T00:46:01Z ) DeepOnion - new player. ( First Airdrop 2017-07-21 ) Damn. IT is destiny Ooh nice coincidental catch of numbers there! Love to have people who are looking into numbers that carefully and finding patterns I would rather stay away from these new exchanges, until their reputation are made. Specially for small coins like this one, last thing we need is another scam...

DeepOnion release about 20k coins per week for mining, so in order to receives the equivalence of a airdrop for a hero member (about 800 coins a week), someone would need 4% of the network, this is about 40ghs (near 1ths now). And the biggest asic available right now is the A2000 which does 1.6ghs and is listed at around 2600$. So a required investment of about 65k$ would be equivalent to a normal airdrop, and im not even talking about 2x and more... And there's new asic that are coming out in the following weeks/months so the miner will need to get rid of his actual rig and migrate to the new one... As a long time miner, i can tell that mining is much harder than airdrop. The only real relation with mining and airdrop is you get coins after the process! So how much coin we get with an Asic A2000? Anyway is better to get coins from airdrop and only to try mining a few coins or better mining other altcoins and buy Onions. I think a single A2000 right now gets you about 4-5 coins per day at most... And you can buy that on the exchange for about 3$, i think the choice is easy! Keep in mind that there's only 2,880 new coins per day out there (mined) for a network that is around 1,000 ghs

What do you think will be the value of Deep Onion once everyone leaves after thé airdrop ?
This is what worries about this project, too much free coins
I dont know what drives price now? I mean ...how do you use onions except for speculation? I guess 90% drop is very possible. Do you think people will start jumping ship even before last rounds? I was thinking about that. If no bright ideas emerge in next 2 month, whats the point to hold it. Better to invest in BTC or ETH and and pray for ICOs to bring cash into the ecosystem. I ave like tons of shitty coins from airdrops, they cost 5-20 USD in overall value. These i will hold for sure, just curious what will happen. But ONIONS? Too much cash is tempting. Airdrop is similar to mining. Big miners get a lot of coins because they have more machines. Some miners hold a lot of coins because they see a potential in it and some dump to earn because that's what miners do, they profit by mining. In the Deep Onion airdrop, we can see the similarity with those who were able to get coins via the airdrop. Remember that not all holders obtained their Deep Onion via airdrop. There are also miners who are using ASICs to mine. I bet some even have big mining farms. As we all know, when a coin is profitable, miners flock to it in an instant. The price of a coin is always driven by supply and demand. Demand for trading, investment or real world use. Real life usage of Deep Onion coin will come later because the coin is still young, just 4 months old. Value is being added to Deep Onion even as we speak. The devs/admins/mods are hard at work. We just have to be patient. Airdrop is quite different from mining. Investment: Mining - People invest money in hardware and hence carefully pick what crypto to mine. Airdrop - It requires no money investment and hence people are not very specific about what they join. Dumping: Mining - People don't dump just like that because they paid for it Airdrop- Not the case. It is just free money most of the cases. I say "most of the cases" because some of them require investing your time. Return for investment: Mining - Diminishing, as the difficult of mining increases Airdrop - Almost does not change There are many other differences. They both have many things dissimilar than similar. DeepOnion not like other airdrops. Contribution for community = onions. Investment here it is human resources You can't just got onions from 3-4 accounts for free (like in other airdrops) So it is almost like as mining The biggest difference is about the risks, mining you need to front alot of cash and over time the risk decrease. Airdrop there's no real risk, you invest a bit of your time. But the amount of time is so much less than the amount of risk you take with mining.

The next week after the bitcoingold comes out, bitcoin will start to decline in price. Perhaps the price of onion will skyrocket That is true. People are stocking up BTC to get their share of BTCGold. After that, they will convert it back to different cryptos. The advantage, that some people would have perceived, is that in this frenzy for free BTCGold coins, the price of other cryptos will fall (like with DO). So they will get back more of their original crypto when they buy them back after 25-Oct. And as the market swings, the prices of other cryptos will rise to balance the demand and BTC will stabilize at a lower price. That ends up as a Win-Win! Bitcoin price and bitcoin gold is not related. People are not buying bitcoin to get some free scam coins. There is really no reason to belive that the rally will end anytime soon. The likelyhood of the 2x fork causing major damage is diminishing. I would not be suprised to see prices above 8k before new year. The DeepOnion price will not go up untill its chance of long term success improves. Listing on a major exchange would help. But in the end it is the work of the developers and the community that gives DeepOnion value. The price might fall to 10 cents and rise to 10 dollars in a few weeks if the fundamentals change. Right on! Im pretty much inline with your analysis there! Im not sure it will reach 8k$ by year end thou, think it will retrace a bit at the end of the month... As for DO well its all about features.

Deeponion does not smell like armpits! Deeponion smells like money $ $ $ $ $
All jokes aside, Deepvault is actually pretty cool. It will be a useful tool in the future, just wait til some famous Wikileaks type organization decides to use it to store secret documents and then it is all over the news. The future is bright my friends.
Just as a reminder, DeepVault is only used to stored the hash to verify documents, it doesn't store the actual documents. For that it would need to implement a IPFS client, which is what i wished this coin would do. No other coins will have a deepsend and could store documents over TOR. Only way this coins play with the big ones IMHO. Just think about all the wikileaks documents and other whistle blower trying to expose government secrets...

Im a bit confused by the network hashrate in the wallet: "networkhashps": 355952751341.9575, this stated that the hash rate is about 355ghs! i guess theres a decimal misplacement here. and it must be something like 35mhs or something. Can anyone confirm this, because my PC is doing about 20khps so either my PC isn't high enough or theres millions of computers on this network! Thanks

Can't wait! Only 7 hours till the airdrop. Gotta love Fridays!! How much do people earn here in USD terms per airdrop and on what does it depend? Well technically its worth nothing since there's a 90% rule that prevents you from selling more than 10%. But it sure feels like its alot for some lol

Just a friendly reminder that im willing to by some BBR if you got some to sell...
Waiting for you!

hmmm, sadly the price on Novaexchange is still going down. Fortunately we are not looking at the short-term price . Hopefully after 18 November when the X2 hardfork-drama is behind us, all the alts, including DO will recover. Obviously still bullish on the long-term value of DeepOnions! I wouldn't blame the fork it might have a small impact for sure, but not that much. The actual rules gives no reasons for buyers to get some coins, if the airdrop rules change this could probably boost the price quite a lot. But lets not speculate too much here...

Yeah being on a more reputable exchange would definitely give BTQ a boost. Most of the exchanges I've contacted want like 0.5 BTC or more to add a coin. Idk why exchange are wanting to charge so much just to add a coin, it's crazy.
We charge 5 BTC to get listed. We are very proud to have BTQ for so long time (it's being here from 2014). @C-Cex, If the reason you keep having trouble with your BTQ wallet is because people are mining directly to their C-Cex BTQ address, then you should set a minimum deposit amount, like 500 or 1000. That would keep the dust down. Trying to offer suggestions here to make life better for us all. Z I agree with you, miners don't realise all the dust transactions they are doing and for an exchange it must be an insane about of input transactions, very small ones, consolidating those must take alot of time. Setting a minimum high enough should prevent miners to mine directly to the exchange or at least reduce the dust...

Coins takes alot of server resources, it takes maintenance alot now, much more than it used to be and also the attack vectors are getting more aggressive, thats why exchanges charge more tha never....

Ah members who joined after 1 September can't join. I hope I could join one day.
really?¿ I didn't read anything about that, just that is required to be at least a junior member... This project is the main reason I registered here, read an awesome post about it on steemit that got me here and I was so excited to join after a few weeks... Members on here said that we have a chance. I will read the rules and see what to do. Thanks to members on here, everybody is nice and try to help Yes you have a chance to get in, since they updated this rule once in the past. It used to be end of July, and then they updated to September 1st, so it's pretty sure it will get updated again in the following weeks. Plus you don't need to be part of the airdrop to participate in this project.

I can not download DeepVault today.Problem to server ?
Its already in your wallet, its a built in feature and post the files signatures over the blockchain. Unless you meant that you were not able to download the new 1.3 wallet?
