161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about buying a Fandom token and holding it? on: November 20, 2021, 10:41:00 PM
I'm the one who asked if I could buy a fandom token on Probit.
I bought a little, not a lot, but it's going up on the charts,
so I guess, I think it'd be good to hold it. what do you think about this token?
Aside from Probit, is this token listed on any exchange?
That is financial advice and I don't think it is good if you will rely upon other's opinion. You should have your own research first and analyze the project very well. From my own point of view, just try to invest, I checked the project it seems very interesting when I saw their roadmap and many social media accounts.
162  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin the king on: November 20, 2021, 10:33:12 PM
Bitcoin is the king? was there any coronation of king of the crypto? I guess the op is been metaphorical! When you look at the market, it seem all other coin exist for bitcoin to thrive. I think bitcoin been the first crypto with it's unique and time tested attributes, people tend to trust bitcoin more!
It is a term here in the forum but it does not literarily have a coronation, okay same on this, bitcoin is a leading cryptocurrency among other altcoins.

Since bitcoin is the first and pioneer in the crypto world, it has been already gained the trust of many people. And that is right, it has a unique feature that no one can change, despite from that bitcoin has a true meaning of decentralization. Even though how high fees many people still use bitcoin and the blockchain technology behind them.
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as Education Insurance on: November 20, 2021, 10:25:36 PM
It's a bad idea, after all, they can still benefit os it because while holding as insurance, it is the same purpose as an investment.
The awareness could be possibly spread because of this propaganda by them, but to be honest, this is quite risky, because when the time comes that they need to cash out their money, it is very lucky when the price folded multiple times but how about if we are in a bear trend seems like what happened in the year 2018 when bitcoin and the entire market started to drop.

But still, we should be thankful there is a program like this.
164  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need advice regarding buying on: November 19, 2021, 11:48:36 PM
What are you guys currently doing ? Still buying at 65-68k ? Waiting a for a while ?
The price of BTC is decreasing enough because of some news lately.
And I think that this is also a good time to buy some. But I will prefer to suggest you buy based on steps, not all in one rate of BTC itself. You may set a target price of some BTC rates, and the lower buy is around $55k.
Btw, what is your goal? Long-term or short-term investment of Bitcoin itself?

But, if you are a daily trader, I think that there is no certain good time to buy or sell. You can set a price and then make a set of price goals to buy and sell the coin itself. But of course, it may be riskier.
There should not have financial advice here and I think OP should have his/her own research before putting such investment.
Because we all know that the bitcoin price is not predictable, it will either goes up or down at any moment, when we said, yes it is good to invest but6 later on the price will decrease more and there will be a chance that OP will blame us here. So that is a good question at the last, how long you have plans to invest in bitcoin if short term there is no guarantee but if that long term there will be a chance that OP could earn and set his own target on making a profit.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think November will be for alts? on: November 19, 2021, 11:42:15 PM
November had many events notable for the entire cryptocurrency market, but still, I'm kinda not sure what's going to be next. Now I am closely watching the process of public sale and development of CheckDot platform. I have high expectations for this project. What do you think about it? What can significantly affect the price? Also, I would like to see your predictions for the altcoin market for November, which altcoin do you believe in and what fundamentals can drive growth?
There will be no epic for the altcoins because the price of them were depending on the bitcoin price, look at how the market price, when bitcoin goes down every altcoin is also down. So it means altcoin prices were swinging together with the bitcoin price.

I don't expect that altcoin will separately make their own path of price growing. They are still relying upon bitcoin growth even those NFTs projects, they dump when bitcoin dump and go the same on the opposite side. However, I think altcoins were already pumped and I think many of us here profited already.
166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need a movie about Bitcoin on: November 19, 2021, 11:37:29 PM
Generally speaking, only Bitcoin lovers would pay to see this, ..
<...>
Exactly and that was what I am thinking, I have seen different movies featuring bitcoin in a short clip, and maybe those directors on the movie are also crypto enthusiasts. If there are few of them who promote bitcoin through movies, the chances of spreading awareness in bitcoin will increase, and have a chance that the adoption will increase too.

But it depends on the content of the movie because there are some movies that the content towards bitcoin gives a bad image on it.
I just like the entire concept of the movie is that all about bitcoin and bringing good deeds to the people, not the bad ones. Sometimes I saw they mentioned bitcoin in movies but to pay to kidnap ransoms or illegal activities.
167  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Before getting into trading on: November 19, 2021, 11:29:21 PM
While trading may seem easy, in reality it is a big job where you have to have experience, knowledge and current information and you have to manage the trade with the knowledge created by combining them. In the developed world, various education or training arrangements are also made for it. There is so much to learn here. Wealth is your responsibility to increase it as well as your responsibility to protect it. ‍So learn first.
Seems easy but the fact that is not easy, it is not easy making money, is a very crucial kind of making money.
You need to sharpen your knowledge and skills first before going to the battlefield of trading, yes, it seems like a battle because traders have may win or lose in an instant, and when there is prey and predator on the sea which is big first and small fish, in trading do the same. You need to learn first before getting into trading and should be able to do trading and stand on your own feet without relying upon other's opinions.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Binance Coin (BNB) reach $1K? on: November 19, 2021, 11:24:17 PM
BNB is behind the big projects if any of the coins that are skyrocketing in the market now have no future plans.  That BIG BIG project has supported him, he himself is such a big project.  How many more projects are standing in the market centering on him. In that case why BNB 1k dollar , this price will be surpassed.
We can call BNB a big project that has a good vision for the future. Of course, supported by a large network and exchange, it will certainly be easier for BNB to reach the price of $1k. I think those two things make BNB feel easier. But what else could make it easier for BNB to reach those prices that we have to find out.
As long as Binance was there supported and backed up by BNB, this coin has a great future and it will surely grow up more.
I never have doubted this coin, in fact, I have a few of them in my portfolio and I store it hoping that it will increase the price further than the current price.
This is also good if you are a Binance user, it definitely saves your ass into high fees now which is every trader suffers it hardly. About your prediction, it seems it quite easy to reach that amount which is Binance was still the leading crypto exchange in the crypto market.
169  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin run up is coming on: November 19, 2021, 10:59:30 PM
And it's whether we like it or not, bitcoin is bound to create bigger adoption in the near future and so its no surprising that its value will definitely become huge in the future. I am not saying this from my own perspective but basically from all people who believe in it and are still hopeful to be more profitable in the future.
As we can witness now bitcoin has gained too much adoption and it will continue the massive adoption.
This was the most anticipated moment by most of us, bitcoin will surge and the price becomes expensive and I think that's possible to happen in the future.

We are not in hype anymore, we have a lot of investors out there and there are individuals and institution that has adopted bitcoin. Possibly the price will become more expensive over how many years of holding.
170  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is Bitcoin up since after Dump? on: November 19, 2021, 07:09:59 AM
Traders like me has wondered the next move for bitcoin. Ever since the dump that happened few days ago, it's been almost stagnant at $63k.
Currently the price has gone back down to 56k USD. The thread was made before this so, somewhat my prediction that a dump will happen soon turned out correct but I was not expecting this much dump to happen, maybe up to 60k was expected.
I don't even believe that this sudden dump will last longer, it seems to me refueling the tank to become skyrocketing again.
Many holders were expecting this dump right after a massive pump and that is a short correction that is often happening in a world of crypto especially in bitcoin price. But the problem here is that the dump will be prolonged because of the panic sellers, they will take action that pumped too much in the market.

If you know how the market will work it usually recovers very soon and I think this is the start to make another ATH again.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we buy tokens for young projects? on: November 15, 2021, 11:58:34 PM
Most people now are buying tokens from young projects because of the hype and FOMO. Only a few are analyzing the projects they want to join. To answer your question. Yes, I also follow some tokens from young projects that I think have a good roadmap in the future. Grin
They just want to gamble their money and seek a profit in a short time period but they don't want to hold this new project in a long term.
It could be profitable when you are lucky enough but if not, you will be lost your money, so it's a pure gambling which is you don't know what will happen in the future about your investment.

To increase the chances of making profit, you should have your own research per young project so that it will able to minimize risk.
172  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't ever quit your job to trade crypto. on: November 15, 2021, 11:54:11 PM
Leaving your present job for crypto trading makes no single sense at all. Human beings are supposed to have stable paying jobs and also have a different avenue of making money. A side hustle is always advisable no matter how big or small it could be. Cos in this life nobody can't tell what job will keep sustaining and the other fail.
In my own perspective I'll choose to leave my daily job and focus the trade. You need to take a risk in order to be successful for me if you Only focus on your daily job.

If that is on my side, I disagree with this opinion.
Trading is not a job and it does mean you are a risk-taker you become a successful trader, that is not how it will work for me.
There is no stable source of income in trading, even experts in trading maybe experience losses and it could be easily to wipe out your money in trading and you can't able to survive because you don't have other source of income.

Just don't leave your personal job, that makes you to sustain your trading activity when your monthly salary come.
173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: are crypto owners naturally paranoid? on: November 15, 2021, 11:49:33 PM
<....>
"Not your Keys, Not you Bitcoin" is the thing we have to consider. And we have to keep in mind that there we become careless the more it attracts other people to take advantage of us. If we don't have the reason for keeping it on the exchanges aside from holding (not staking) that seems useless.
A common line that we usually heard.
Bitcoin or crypto has value and is considered valuable stuff to us, I don't blame people if they are being paranoid about keeping their private keys.
So it is not the best practice to store bitcoin on a exchange which you don't have your own keys.

Because we have heard different cases of bitcoin lost every month or weeks, though we had that news just don't being paranoid because there is maybe a chance that your bitcoin getting lost and the password maybe you forget.
174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin transaction fee fixed? on: November 15, 2021, 10:38:48 PM
As the transaction fee of Bitcoin depends on transaction size and network volume, it will keep on fluctuating as per the change in network volume and size of the transaction.
There is no fixed bitcoin transaction but it also depends on which wallet that you have used, in custodial wallet which are higher fees than the non custodial wallet. The fees are always mattered on the mempool status and the fee depends if the network is not experiencing heavy traffic.

Another case depended on your speed transaction, faster transactions mean higher fees could be paid. For lower fees, I suggest adopting a lightning network, this is good a multi send micro transactions.
175  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does someone use trading bots? on: November 15, 2021, 10:22:36 PM
Just an additional expense for small traders like me that is why I didn't use a trading bot.
But if you have a budget, a trading bot is good when especially if you don't have enough time for trading then a trading bot is good for you. Because trading bot can execute your order on behalf of you by simply setting up your trade through this bot.

But I won't recommend trading bots on new traders because it is very risky to use. It's very hard to understand for them that will maybe lead to massive loss. Just expertise manual trading and go for bot when you are busy enough and have extra money to purchase bot.
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What has bitcoin done for you? on: November 15, 2021, 09:54:47 PM
Provided me with the much needed financial stability. We live in a dire, uncertain world, Bitcoin gave me the opportunity to have control over my own money no matter what happens. On top of that, it was probably the best investment (money and information/knowledge wise) I've ever made. It's been a great journey since ~ 2012-14, and I do not regret any minute of it.
It's likely that many of us were in that bad situation financially when bitcoin wasn't there. But when it came to us, it has helped us in many ways not only financially.
Exactly!
It really helped in the financial problem matter, though we should not be relying upon this at least, we have another resource of income that could save us when we needed it most. How many of us here have been rescued by bitcoin when it comes to financial problems, I saw most comments are being helped and that was what I expected from this thread upon seeing the title on this thread.

I have repaired my garage and bought a personal gadget because of the bitcoin that was I earned last year and I am happy that bitcoin was increasing too much the price.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where is BNB going!!! on: November 15, 2021, 09:47:11 PM
I shared my comments about BNB that it will be 600 dollars until the 15th of November. I have a guess that he will be excited with the cryptos that football clubs have released lately. I think it could be $750 by the end of December.

As for the price of BNB, I believe that by the end of 2021 it will grow and will probably be able to reach the $ 1000 mark, maybe even higher. This is also facilitated by the fact that many are expecting a flight to the moon by the end of this year, and if there is, then such a top coin as BNB may well show excellent results. I personally believe in the success of BNB and I am also the holder of this coin.
There is no doubt that BNB will raise the price soon because it is backed by Binance, as long as Binance operated well, this BNB the price becomes good too. It is really worth it to hold BNB, in fact, this coin now was in my portfolio and so far I don't have a plan to sell it not unless I urgently need money.

If you notice in the price chart, there is a huge increase since last year so many it will double the amount in the next few years, so it better to accumulate more as of now.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDT a trustable? on: November 15, 2021, 09:40:39 PM
I don't know about other people, but I do trust USDT, because its equivalent to USD. And I mostly trade my margin trade with USDT. It's been few years I have been using without any trouble on few exchanges. So I think you can trust them. BTW, most of the exchange has USDT coin.
I respect your opinion which is each of us has different preferences.
But have research first before you will trust this stable coin, I have heard different shady activities about this USDT. I rather trust a stable coin on Binance because I know for sure it was backed up by Binance.

I used USDT but it doesn't trust them, I used it on exchange when I need to divert my asset when the price goes down but I didn't hold this coin for the long term, I quickly trade to bitcoin when seeing the market price goes up and that is the reason why USDT is on exchange. It needs a dollar value coin.
179  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to be safe from scammers on: November 15, 2021, 09:33:52 PM
There are too many ways to protect scammers but one thing that protects us most is our common sense.

Can I add some?
DON'T TRUST SWEET PROMISES, most people in social media offer us a sweet promise of return in our investment in just a couple of days, but the fact you have scammed. This was an experience of my friend personally, the same scenario like this when someone asked and offered a profitable investment. Upon depositing the money he just waited for a couple of weeks for the promised profit after a week, he tried to withdraw but there's a fee that almost half of the amount that he wanted to withdraw, without a sense that he was just on a scam, he deposited another amount of money just to withdraw the amount but suddenly, after depositing the site disappeared and boom....he just scammed and realized at the end.

This belongs to the DONT TRUST ANYONE or dont make a deal with anyone else on the internet especially if you don't know.
However, thank you for sharing this, a good thread to help newbies from being scammed.
180  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you know if current prices are corrected or going to correct? on: November 15, 2021, 08:47:13 PM
The current prices at any given time, how do you know if they are going to correct or are already corrected?

Like the prices atm.
Do you think if someone will know they aren't rich enough now?
Because the crypto market is unpredictable, you will only know that the price is corrected after how many days seeing the price compared to the previous one, if the price drops something like 15% from the previous, that is being corrected price but you don't know exactly when it will occur.

There are some traders using technical and fundamental analysis for this, but against this is not a perfect tool to predict the market, it is just speculation either it is accurate or far from the result. Juts invest and hold for a long term and there is no need to wait for a massive correction, we don't know how can be folded bitcoin in the future or how many folds when it has a correction, so invest at your own risk.
