I am not looking to FUD. With current coin price at 0.05 there is no reason to FUD, as mostly people FUD to buy cheap. I am just one of the loser who bought at 0.18 btc. I see so many flaws in coin progress and organizing and I am letting it know. I will accept anytime when someone proves me wrong. The answers were not made public before and its not good idea to make people guessing and eventually make them frustrated.

Website has been updated, irc tipbot is made.
I am working on the android wallet.
We got some version incompatabilities between maven android plugin and the android sdk.
They might seem fixed after i have moved 88gb of data.
c:\adt\sdk\tools\android update sdk --no-ui --obsolete --force ate 88 gb of free space.
the pump will happen anywhere soon. especially if mp's stop dumping.
currently they still dump but i cant find evidence that they are still mining

Why would you buy/sell to break those walls?  I agree there might be one whale holding more than 2 B. It might be Cryptsy itself. They run the show. The delay in progress will lead to Whale taking control and making the coin market very volatile and meaningless. Even the dev or anyone holding 1 B will be a puppet to dance in the market swings. With "nature" as the cause this coin can go bigger than DOGE ( fun coin ). If you can bring the community with your motivation, enthusiasm, plan, implementation.. the coin value will rise gradually and distribution will be fair. Let us know your plans and people will participate. cryptsy is holding coins they collected from fees. you can calculate that. multipools and whales run the show currently. sad truth. above you can see a list of projects that are not our specialism. we know the code of the coin well, and we are webdevelopers. things like forking android apps take much time ( completely new to us - much googling - but always succeed evt ). also a payment gateway to autoconvert leaf -> btc ( using cryptsy maybe? ) will enable merchants. THAT is what we need. adoption. in my opinion. thats why we are working so hard at the technical side of this all. android wallet for mobile devices... mobile usage. now you can only use leaf from behind a desktop/laptop. i think that is one of the TOP priorities + the gateway. even more then the foundation. edit: also if you have ideas... there is something like an irc channel #leafcoin. where we respond in almost realtime( if you are nice - GMT+1 timezone though ) and you can chat 1on1 with us. edit2: a pump is inevitable |

you seem to know all. i have spoken to all these pool owners. they dont hold anything. they exchange immediately. they. want. btc. creating sell pressure - what we are currently seeing on mint as well.
it all started when we got listed on cryptsy ( community choice btw - enabling them to autosell - hashrate went up like crazy ).
and that enabled whales to collect leafs since they know that multipools dump into the highest buy wall.
so they put up sell walls to make sure the price goes down and collect the leafs from the multipools and the panic sellers ( optionally resell 1 tick higher, making sell walls more huge.. each coin flip > 16% now ).
this is how whales get fat and how they operate.

Where is the motivation from dev? Where is the enthusiasm? As a creator of this coin, you should lead the community with a working plan and implement it. LEAF is freaking slow with progress. With 13 Billion coins already mined, I guess dev & team should be holding more than 1 billion coins thru the pools they run. Leaf has zero marketing !!!. It’s OP responsibility to come up with a marketing plan! There will be no buyers if you do not market your product. REDD coin which came weeks after LEAF has 50% more twitter followers. There is lot of activity in reddit with tip bot and stuff. Poor investors bumping LEAF thread with meaningless post, pictures and hope. I bought few millions of LEAF at 0.18 btc per million. Donated more than 200K to foundation. Disappointing. LEAF back to 5 Satoshi !!!!

I can do more only when I see the coin going in right direction. Disappointed with LEAF's leadership, plan, progress, lack of motivation & enthusiasm and no marketing. I'm letting people know about the present situation - dev not so enthusiastic as he was before (maybe he is happy with 30 btc's he made till date and holding 1 Billion+ coins already), whales or few group of people buying cheap, dev delaying and waiting for the pump. He is expecting the community who are holding few millions to come up with great ideas and take initiative. Why doesn't he lead the initiatives? Now tell me, What you did? Keep the generic BULL statements off now. please stop with false accusations... holding 1 billion leafs. i have a mere 60 million. all of that bought, mined and traded... i am riding these things. so pls. stop that, have billions stuff etc. We are working with only 2! ppl on the tech projects. we are working on the projects... as said earlier.. we have daytime jobs and spend complete weekends on the projects.
as we are doing now as well.
so this is why I dont respond as much now.
we just created a tipbot.. and i am working on the android wallet
yes, we have to do everything.... some stuff is new to us as well ( i never compiled anything for android )...
if some of these tasks were solved by others we would have less to do and hence we can move faster ( less projects )
so dont think we arent doing anything.
we cannot control what is happening.
marketing has been offloaded, twitter has been offloaded... devs should dev.
the community can also do things ( like they did with doge, why should we be any different from them? )

I imagine he's selected mint because he believes in it as a long term project and is in it for the the long haul. If any coin has a long term future, those first investors must be able to stomach all the ups and downs along the path to that coins success. It's not an easy road when you are heavily invested but as they say. No pain, no gain! nopain, no gain: yes, true... i hope you are right. |
