161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Years From Now in Crypto? on: October 22, 2018, 10:34:04 AM
I am not one of those people who is calling for 100'000$ and more in BTC price.
I tend to think that there will more acceptance and more regulation which is inevitable and could be positive for the market.
162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Real Estate on: October 22, 2018, 10:31:11 AM
Its hard to tell which actually is better.
Real estate industries tend to have bubbles as same as other investing industries , also one has to have large amount of money to invest in real estate ( if it is not crowdfunding) .

163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If the bull market recur periodically, how long dose a cycle take? on: October 21, 2018, 10:05:53 PM
It is possible that we will see another bull run but market is evolving and possibly at the next bull run we will new , quality companies evolve not like before because investors wont trow money at anything that has ICO in them this time, they will think twice.

If we compare crypto time scale to dot com  bubble time scale, we are 3-6 months way from The start.
164  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-10-05]54% of Analyzed Crypto Exchanges Fail to Satisfy Proper Security Req on: October 21, 2018, 10:02:46 PM
This is something that have dazzled my for while now , periodically we hear that another  100 thousand or million solar exchange hack but it seems that it does not make the security measures better in other exchanges.
I do not understand how can they be so careless about this absolutely vital aspect of their business.

I wonder if this report included those small exchanges with only 10s of thousands of dollar volume which in my opinion are not relevant.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2018-10-20] Floyd Mayweather and DJ Khaled Sued for Involvement in Centra ICO on: October 21, 2018, 09:58:47 PM
Sad to hear about this news, famous and popular personally involve this scam accusations
Another bad news from cryptocurrency and for sure has big effect this negative news
To clarify this new wait for the myeather and klaed explanation about this scam accusations for them

this is nothing new, Centra is about 1 year old "project"which ended in complete crash and burn .
It is possible that they did not know that it was a scam, after all they had a team and cool working product till CEOs tried a exit scam.
166  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-10-18] Binance Partners with Chainalysis to Stamp Out Money-Laundering on: October 21, 2018, 09:56:27 PM
I like that in the end of this article peace there is a line about banks doing a lot more laundering than cryptos , according to some reports ( Sorry i cant find the reference), cryptos have the lowest risk of laundering since one have to exit to FIAT in the end ..

Also i do not believe that they will actually be very effective but it could be a big news if the fiat society believes that his is sufficient , it could benefit to wider adoption.
167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Doing a project with blockchain need interesting topics on: October 17, 2018, 09:46:46 AM
lol, seems that you are desperate to capitalise from ICo market. If you dont have your own idea and solid background, dont even bother of making ICO, we have already ton of bad ICOs which is making cryptos look worse every day.

If you come up with something unique and cool then go ahead.
168  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why I don't Support KYC in cryptocurrency as it is on: October 17, 2018, 09:40:25 AM
Your support is not relevant since there already is laws in place which does not allow some citizens to invest in ICOS, thus  teams are obligated to check investors.

But some of your concerns are relevant and i am making the same points for some time know, it is very frustrating when projects ask for ones id on their shitty page or google forms. They should use KYC company but this costs money.

also i have be noticing people who are activly pro KYC and saying shit like" f you are legit man, there is nothing to be afraid of"  , there is a lot of what we should be afraid of if they dont do KYC in professional way
169  Other / Archival / Re: Old project on: October 16, 2018, 11:16:36 AM
I have been closely following this project since they claim to be raised about 12 million USD.

I have to say that they have been unbelievably irresponsible and greedy.

Irresponsible - they released bounty tokens half way thru their sale which led to absolutely trashing price in dex of their tokens.

Greedy- the only exchange they listed after ICO has been some incredible shitty GRAVIEX, it has 20k USD volume total , it is 500-1000 times less then IDEX has.

The way they handled aspects which directly impact their token price indicates that a) most likely the raised amount is not correct b) they dont care about their investors
170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin become the reserve currency of the world? on: October 16, 2018, 11:03:36 AM
Do you think Bitcoin will become the reserve currency of the world sometime in the future? I was wondering about this since Bitcoin is now a widely used cryptocurrency worldwide. Since most altcoins in the market today, are dependent on Bitcoin's price movements, it seems like Bitcoin is the reserve currency of cryptocurrencies.

However, if Bitcoin tends to become more popular each day, it could eventually take the USD's place as the reserve currency of the world. Hence, what are your thoughts about this? Will it happen or not?  Huh

I dont believe that this will be true, at least at official level it wont be recognized as such asset. But in the same time when /if geo political situation will get worse and worse, BTC will become more and more valuable.  Also for this to happen a lot of time has to pass so that we newer generation would be in charge.
171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the opportunities we have in blockchain? on: October 16, 2018, 10:56:26 AM
There are so many opportunities in Blockchain and people have really taken great advantages of that opportunities. Now people are integrating it with so many industries and it is helping them. It now being used in the health sectors and also the business industries.

Actually i dont believe that there are many ready to use products.
About which industries and which opportunities which are already used you are talking about ?
172  Other / Meta / Re: [MERIT][NSFN] We're destroying more merits than we're sending. Like, way more. on: October 15, 2018, 03:51:06 PM
Interesting post, great job OP.

I  did not find how did you get to this number- 61k merit wasted.  Did you calculate from banned users or is there statistics somewhere available?

The number was calculated by summing up the amount of merit shown on each banned user's profile.

Do you mean merit or their smerit?

For example, if Full member has 100 merits by default and we add them up, what does it mean- can we say that these merits has been wasted.
If this amount was airdropped to user, then it does not account to much
But if we would add up the smerits that would be more appropriate for  term " wasted"  since it is something that could have been used productively.
173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Stock market on: October 15, 2018, 03:34:21 PM
One of the things that actually could push crypto to new ATHs could be crash of stock markets.
I am certain that crash will happen in  sooner or later , the last week possibly was and indicator that stocks are ready to burst and then the capital could go to other investments like BTC.

175  Other / Meta / Re: Is it possible to reach a high rank nowadays? on: October 09, 2018, 10:29:12 PM
I cant agree more, and I think most of us also agree that there is a lot of high ranking members who could not pass Jr or Member status with new system but this is just consequence of the situation in this unique internet place.
You cant blame the new ran requirements since they are necessarily for keeping forum cleaner.

Maybe in the future we will see that high ranking users get some " punishment" for being shit posters as well.

But for now I think that there should be some kind of special badge that would indicate that user is self made rank member .
And I will explain why, not just because they are more worthy the rank because of their unique and quality posts but because it is beneficial for readers. For example, when i see member with odd number of merit, i often click on their posts to find cool content. But if this user has 101, 103 or 105 merits I do not click on his post history even if he had earned all 101 merits not just one . Reader cant tell if the user has earned 101 or 1 merit just by looking at the profile.

176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][OIO] ONLINE - Together we can change the internet 🔴|🔴 on: October 08, 2018, 09:44:55 AM
Bounty tokens will be paid in early november. its really strange, project raised 50m$ (if this is true)  - theres no volume on exchanges  for now .

I agree, something is off here.
Actually there are several things off.

1) This project allegedly raised 50 million USD but there is no volume on IDEX! And i cant see any explanation for this. There is a lot of volume on la-token but everyone who looks at the trade history can see that it is totally fake!

2) Everyone who are rising concerns about exchanges and volume relative to raised amount, are immediately banned from telegram group.

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but this seems as another shady project.
177  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-10-02]Bitcoin Price Stable around $6,600, CEO of deVere Group Forecasts BT on: October 08, 2018, 09:28:47 AM
Over the years I have learned that the more people await something to happen in Bitcoin the less likely it is. When we were falling down to 6000 the second time most people expected us to go lower and many professional traders were drawing patterns where Bitcoin followed the 2015 trend and headed for 4800. Now so many people expect another FOMO rally. I  think we will have to wait another year for it to start.

True, almost every TA was calling for lower prices. It seems that market cant decide what to do right now, but this is totally normal , we had a bubble, right now we got it out of our systems .

Also there is no reason for new breakout and FOMO, not gonna happen this year.
178  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-10-07]Could the rise of security tokens render ICO’s redundant? on: October 08, 2018, 09:25:53 AM
The primary reason that companies have raised money by selling utility tokens instead of security tokens has been to avoid violating U.S. laws. That attempt has been mostly unsuccessful, so companies have given up on selling utility tokens and are returning to security tokens.

I dont believe so, I think that the primary reason was that doing an ICO in the past allowed one to bypass the painful and very expensive way of doing IPO.

Right now US based ICOs are forced to comply with SEC which states than every token is a security not because investors were not buying "utility"  token although it makes little sense.

Correct me if I am wrong.
179  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-10- 04] UK Finance Minister Believes Blockchain Could Solve Brexit Border on: October 06, 2018, 10:33:42 AM
UK will be in deep trouble and most of them dont know it yet, almost all of the populists who used their twisted shit brexit promotions to get power ,are long gone and now the people are left hanging.

Regarding the crypto, i can see scenario where crypto become a major player in ther economy. One of the factors fot his to happen is that with brexit SEPA payments are cut off from UK, this means that their money transfers would take a long time as in old days which will HURT their economy and annoy citizens.
180  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-10-02] Cryptocurrency Scams Are Successfully Growing Thanks to Web Marketi on: October 06, 2018, 10:28:57 AM
I often think of how people get scammed by scams which are obvious ( for me) ,especially telegram and ETH scammers. How they do not get suspicious.

I think that only way to stop this is by raising awareness, otherwise people will not be informed that there are a ton of bad people trying to take advantage of honest working people.

P.s I often start a long conversation with telegram scammers , playing along for days and saying that i have transferred funds and so on, to just fuck with them.
