What do you think for the new trending financial projects like - Compound, dYdX and DAI stable coin from Maker?

I don't have insights about Compound or dYdX but DAI is another big step in the crypto industry.
DAI though is not a coin for investment or won't profit you directly but is the first decentralized stable coin.
All other stable coins to date are centralized and their future highly depends on their issuers. But DAI works on itself, no one can influence it.

Yeah it's good that if you want to keep your money on crypto and don't want to depend on pumps and dumps you can exchange your assets to DAI

164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beating down the U.S. Dollar on: June 10, 2019, 12:27:45 PM
The US dollars doesn't need any help in beating itself down.   It's like that one friend who always has his or her credit cards maxed out and still hasn't even paid off their mortgage.

Good explanation! Thanks.
165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Beating down the U.S. Dollar on: June 10, 2019, 07:08:43 AM
Can BTC restructure a new financial order? Can BTC or another kind of cryptocurrency beat down the U.S. dollar? What's your opinion?

What kind of organic/paid promotions are successful for any crypto project? What will attracts you? For example influencers, facebook, twitter, IG, Youtube, blogs? What will get your attention?

Nothing.I became numb about all types of online advertising and I also have banner blindness. Grin
I don't trust influencers(lots' of them are scammers) and any form of social media or PPC ads.
Advertising has little to do PR,I think.

Well, that's why I'm not going after banners in any of the websites. Instead, I think the best PR of Crypto project is to go on crypto events, make contacts, making visibility of our product and our team. That is the most organic and the most useful PR for me at this moment.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PR in Crypto World on: June 04, 2019, 08:01:06 AM
it depends on what type of attraction you are looking for.

1) the real attraction for long term that lasts and only grows stronger.
then in this case (which no altcoin has ever done) you have to create actual utilities and have some real innovative idea  and then implement it the best way possible. just take bitcoin as your comparison. it had no ICO, no premine, no advertisement, no influencer, no Youtube/reddit/telegram/twitter... spamvertisement,... but it is successful and is still growing because simply it has a great innovation and is implemented excellently, because of the utility it offers it will grow more and more.

2) the short term not-lasting hype
this is what all the altcoins are doing these days. in which case you just have to spend some money advertising it. advertisement of that kind mainly works when it is targeted to cryptocurrency users and traders specially newbies which means you have to do it in their communities. bitcointalk bitcoin paying signature campaigns have always been the most popular among the methods used.

That's an interesting answer you gave. Thanks for your opinion! Highly appreciated  Smiley

I personally am very skeptical of paid advertisements, especially after the collapse of the ICO market. The best marketing is actually having a solid product and development team. Also, YouTube personalities discussing new projects without getting paid by them can be very effective.

Yeah I'm very skeptical for paid ads because mainly there are no paid ads for now because crypto is restricted everywhere except the big blogs where you can only promote your banner or blog who is explaining who you are and what you strive for.

My attention is drawn to the product and the team. Facebook, Twitter, IG, Youtube is all secondary and does not play a big role for me.

Good, I was thinking that people will not come on our platform(we are DEX) because of the platform but the team, cuz when you know the team is motivated and want to give people more benefits, that's the real thing.

Dex should focus on the development of their security measures that would protect the funds of their users. It has been the struggle and agony of most of the holders in Dex these days. The number of users who choose Peer to peer transaction is increasing which means they're trusting it more than decentralized exchanges.

What? You got it mixed up. The point of Decentralized Exchanges or DEXs is that they don't have control over your funds, and that YOU control your funds.

Exactly, isn't it better to control your own funds instead of trusting third-party?

Probably, but when dealing with actually exchanging large amounts of money. It is better that you have an intermediary at least that will safe-keep both of the funds. And actually will refund is in case of problems occur under their care.

When you forgot your private key, there is no one that can go into the smart contract and withdraw your money even the admins of the exchange. When you are on a DEX it is you that have to take care of yourself, you take care of your private key and no third-parties manage your money.

1 by 1 they will all go down till people open their eyes and start seeking for security. What do you think? And are DEXes going to be more usable exchanges instead of CEXes in the near future?

Binance told that they were stoling so many dollars because of what? They are smart and professional and they wanted to refund all their losses to their clients or customers. This is why Binance is the top exchange beside the other.s

Bud, every exchange would be top exchange if they got so much volume and traders, you know. And then every exchange will think like Binance, I mean wanting to return users investments. Maybe not all, but probably the most because they would like to be loved and used by the traders.

What if there wasn't SAFU? What then?
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After Binance have been compromised. on: May 09, 2019, 02:59:15 PM
And now what is your opinion about decentralized exchanges after this event? I think people will finally consider the DEXes more seriously.  Smiley

DEXes are obviously more of an ideal, but thus far decentralized exchanges either lack user-friendliness or volume. I believe scaling solutions will be a prerequisite for their success. For example, OmiseGo is working on Plasma. EtherDelta and IDEX aren't bad, but they are not good enough just yet.

I agreed that IDEX aren't bad and base on my observation this decentralize exchange platform is much more better to use rather than Etherdelta.
Honestly speaking, because etherdelta for me is the most dangerous DEX I've ever seen. Why? this is the only exchange that before you can their platform, you need to import your ETH address together with your private key, isn't that is too dangerous while IDEX is not like that.

Check out our exchange : )
