Grin coin is something new on the crypto market and it is interesting to learn more about MimbleWimble protocol. I will buy it anyway, but not now, price is too high.

I know it might be a bad idea asking for advice on here because people will try to pump their bags
 but I want to invest another 600$ in two more coins to expand my portfolio so would really appreciate it if you can give some suggestions of good picks.
The poll is with the coins I am considering right now but I know some might bring bigger profits than others.

I voted for EOS, still believe in Dan. But I think another two altcoins from the poll above also has a great potential to grow up: ETH (price now is very low for such massive platform) and ICON (price also drops very dramatically but it is Korean blockchain with goverment support on board). |

You can divide your funds for two parts: one for long term and another for short term investment (i.e. 70/30). For long term choose Cardano and another trusted projects. And for short term try to make profits in more risky and volatile coins. |

Folks, what a terrible year 2018 has been so far. I invested around 60K and now left with 5K. I did terrible mistakes and I hope there would be a turnaround sometime next year or so. Any suggestions?
Yeah, 2k18 was a very hard year for crypto market. Many people lost their major part of portfolio, but now we have experience how to avoid mistakes and which strategy not good any more. |

XEM fall from 1400 satoshi to 1100 satoshi in less then 24 hours i think XEM will fall to 500 satoshi or less in the few next days
Don't agree, most likely this was a weak hands, selling on panic. XEM is on of the old one projects in crypto and they already survived on previously dumps. |

It will be very difficult to dump the market further(it is possible, but it will be very difficult and dangerous), because the miners are already working at a loss on some coins, like ethereum. Bitcoin almost fell to mining cost price, so, i think, it worth to start to buy now.
Agree, market is fell enough. Many projects are already dead, miners turn of their mining farms, small exchanges is closing (Cryptopia, Liqui). I think we are already close to change the trend. |

Most of the bounty hunters do not get payment despite their hard working and some gets a little with shit token. Can we prevent it? Just an idea.
What if we everybody stop to promote a project which offers only token?
For launching a project, the project owner or developer should have some money to promote the project. Say for example- they have to escrow a minimum of 40% of the bounty allocation in term of usd or btc. Only then we can prevent scam ico and bounty hunter will get their money. Can we start following this rule?
It is a very nice idea, but I don't know how to change the rules. Maybe we need some kind of trust bounty platform with strict rules and escrow to protect against the scams projects. |

I was buying in some coins n wanted to trade or sell my coins but the exchange decided to do maintenance. I felt the exchange was poorly handled. I lost a few hundreds that I couldn't trade. This is a small exchange that was selling a new coin. Entering crypto is surely the wild wild west. It was hotbit.io
Everyone was selling while I was holding. Did the exchange decided to cash out on a different exchange? Probably never know what there doing.
That's why we need a real working DEX to avoid such manipulations. I hope NEX or Binance DEX will works fine. |

What your recommended when crypto down price and some ico project failed..
My advise is to search for new perspective projects and invest in it, while others worry about the red market. |

I got into Crypto July 2017 , as newbie i was much afraid so i never took the risk so 2017 bull run pass over me .. 2018 the expectation was really high so i took the risk but things fall apart .. I invested $5000 in Altcoins last year but right its worth less than $400 .. I know one day there is going to be another bull run .. Should i expect the bull run this year or i should expect it in three years time !!
No one can say exactly, when market will return to bullish. First of all I want to wait the moment, when market ceases to fall. And only then plan the next steps. |

The crash will teach alot of people a bitter lesson and they will learn from it,
they will learn the following
1. Never to love a coin
2. Never to be greedy
3. To cashout on profit always
4. To stop following hype
5. To know that what goes up must come down etc

I don't know if I am cursed or something. If I sell a coin now from airdrop/bounty few days later that coins increases much that you will regret selling. If I hold a coin from airdrop/bounty again that coins price decreases much that you will regret not selling right away. I'm confused now whenever I sell the price increases and when I hold the price decreases. Am I cursed?   Yes, that's how market is living. Most of people is doing the same mistakes. With some experience will come understanding, which altcoin need to sell and forget about it and which need to keep for long term. |

Many hodlers now are selling their coins to have a capital for trading to recover their losses on this bear market. Well, I think for now that will be the best decision. The crypto market now is stable and it is good for trading.
