Obviously the question is one of reserve ratios. The FDIC you put your unfounded faith in has reserves to cover 0.68% of deposits.
The issue with fiat is not that there isn't enough - it's that too much is printed and faith in it is lost as a crack up boom ensues and the mass of people suddenly realise their mass produced currency is headed into a downward spiral and dump it in favour of unprintable assets.

I know Minerpart is looking for PMs for buying shares, you can easily make a deal with someone to sell your shares and you won't have to worry about this anymore.

As a possible future investor in this venture, I wish Mintspare the best for their start on Monday Feb 3. There is no clear line between scamming and laziness/ignorance/incompetence. If I promise to build you a spaceship, charge you a few hundred grand ('coz that's how much I think I could get you for, tops), and use the proceeds to rent an office, a company car, and hire my GF as CFO and... Have I scammed you, or  Any scammer worth his salt will structure the scam to be indistinguishable from a failed business. Sure, you will need the email address you want to use on CT, if you have an account already the shares will just be added to that account, if you don't then an account on that email will be created and the shares added to that account. Next you will need the date and time of your transfer to AMC-TENDER and the Number of shares tendered. To be verified the data must match our transfer records from bitfunder. Ken: Some of us made more than one transfers to AMC-TENDER on different dates. Should we claim our shares in portions for each different date or we should use the date of the last transfer and claim them all at once? Thank you. Ken, now that you're no longer making any of the gear advertised on your site, why is it still listed as "available"?
