Well the idea is to attract new people and new interest to PMP. It became clear that with the current amount of users we aren't able to keep the coin alive. Rarity in itself does not mean value. Rarity combined with many users (demand) does. The new PMP still has only a few coins compared to most other coins out there. Other coins tried this, PMC included, it never worked out. Stop poo-pooing our ideas Bergmann. The reasons it "never worked out" could be many, but most likely they were flawed in the "give everything away all at once" model. This is a problem that plagues most PoS coins as well. You have this huge dump of coins on the market and if the price goes up, you have 100% of the market able and in most cases willing to cash out. The same goes for if the price drops, 100% of the market is able to panic and sell. We will continue to discuss the terms of the giveaway but you can stop shitting on our donuts now. We are giving the coins away. The only thing that will change is how we do it. Watch Your language. I'm just warning You, that huge giveaways don't work. Ever heard of Faircoin? It was distributed to 50k addresses. It's dead now. And I don't think You are able to distribute PMP like Faircoin dev did. Anyway, good luck. |

cinni is a good coin so why it's dumping? what happened?
someone dumps and holds the price down everytime its tried to go up, and ontop of that everyone wants to get into cryptcoin despite it haveing nothing out yet where cinni has.... go figure. Yeah price is being manipulated big time by someone or a group of people, i am still not selling a thing though could lose but am still confident Cinni has alot larger long time value, the current price is still a bit more than what i bought the bulk of my Cinni for anyone holding or buying now should still see a very healthy long term profit. Was thinking myself of putting a bit into Cryptcoin but looking at the charts i decided i was to late to get on that train, it is currently being held at a artificial high and could drop anytime soon, 1 or 2 days ago could of made a killing off of Cryptcoin but a way to big a risk now wont go much higher and the fall will be hard. This! I went out of CRYPT myself, because I can't say anymore where it's heading. Risk is simply too high. CINNI at this price is way less risky. |

New coin:
1 million coins + 1 million more POS rewards over 5 years..
( eventually 2 million total )
500k for swap, 500k for giveaway... ( perhaps less for bounties and such )
giveway tiered as you suggested.
Month 1: 50 percent of the coins
Month 2: 25 percent
Month 3: 12.5 percent
Month 4: 6.25 perecnt
Month 5: 3.125
etc... for 6 months maybe...
In addition some giveaways on exchanges, faucets etc... ( maardien volunteered )
PMC/Swap destroy lasts exactly 1 month. The PMC swapped in WILL be destroyed. However the PMC+ remaining unswapped will either be destroyed, OR donated to a charity fund/foundation. All we need is a name.... PMC+, PPOS ( that would be PreminePOS ), PremiumCoin, PPOS etc...
Don't see why someone should buy a coin with 50% giveaway. Giveaway phase was some months ago, PMC went through many many hands then, which is a massive advantage now. You are destroying this advantage and doing the same mistakes. There is no succesful coin out there based on huge giveaways. Burning coins 1 for 1 can be succesful, where total amount is lowered plus some nice features and voilà. |

We have raised the BTC to create PMC2... Now, very soon, there will be discussions on how to use PMC to buy PMC2 ( your help would be great, but not nessesary ) and how to distribute the rest of the coin.... PMC2 ( possibly be renamed ) will be 100 percent POS WITH rewards... PMC holders will be able to buy in... a lot of coins will be given out for free, and the rest will be POS rewards.... it will still be relatively scarce... instead of 500,000 coins, more like 2 million ever total... but our community is strong and we appriceciate you giving us this chance....
In addition I did ask 'nearmiss' from Hashcows to look into Europex.eu and C-CEX for possible buying points for PMC, just in case...
Understand this: It was the PMC community ( Me mainly ) that got him to use you ( Poloniex ) as a buying site for coins for the scrypt multipool... it cost us 0.65 BTC to get it done... XBC rides PMC's coat tails on this one...
BUT Tristan... hang a little longer, we will get it done...

You want to give out a lot of coins for free. You got my veto regarding that point. The coin gets diluted that way. You can get 1% of all coins for about 250$ atm. I bought >5k for peanuts. In case someone shows interest he shall go to Poloniex and get some! Giveaways never work. Features do. That's what we need. |

It's not dead, just cheap. Without fundamental changes it's dead, that's right. Why? Well, I guess PMC thought it could survive by shortness and friendly people. We stay friendly, but we should bring in some hard featuers now. |

Donated 0.2 BTC. We need to get started my friends, since I guess busoni wants to see some results soon, which I fully understand.
Burning PMC for PMC+ would be nice, phase should last about 4 weeks so everyone who cares has the chance to switch. Coins not burned will stay PMC and are probably worthless then.
This will reduce the total amount of PMC by a great amount and we know exacly how many coins are left. One idea to burn PMC would be a market on Poloniex, where You can buy PMC+ with PMC in the relation 1:1.
After four weeks all coins (PMC+) left over will be destroyed. I guess busoni can do this, in my eyes he's one of the most trustworthy persons in cryptos.
In the next phase PMC+ will become POS with "modern" features. I think about features like transactions and a chat routed through tor or i2p.
Is that doable? I'm sure it is, it just needs some nerd progging this. I'm not able to do this, but if I was able to do it, I'd start buying PMC and finish the project.
And when You take a look at the price of PMC now, noone could say later, he had no chance to get in. I'm strongly against giveaways btw, didn't work for us and it seems people prefer to get scammed by IPOs. So please no IPO or giveaway.

How many wolves are left? 250k? 250000 x 0.001 = 250BTC = 454$ x 250BTC = 113500$ market cap, which is nothing. So just rename the coin to some meme and gain 1000%! (bad joke I know) In case You attended IRC last Insanity Sunday You heard about dev's plans after injection. That were so many great ideas. Realize just some and Wolf will become a top 20 coin. You have to see, that we are just at ~113k mc (assuming 250k wolves left) and got a dev, who is able to create a coin worth much more. Ever thought about getting listed on http://coinmarketcap.com? Problem now is the rebuy at 0.001 and the massiv accidental dumps adding a zero last sunday plus some people sitting on their bags. I'm sure, that there is a solution, it just needs to be discussed. |

Das einzige was ich blind kaufen würde wäre eine DeutscheReichMünze (DRM) das würde wenigstens für ordentlich Stimmung sorgen.
Die Nachbarländer würden einkaufen wie bekloppt....aber so einen Schund GERMANY COIN will kein Mensch, wir leben in DEUTSCHLAND und nicht in GERMANY hier ist Tradition zuhause!
Genau mein Reden!!! Niemand, aber auch wirklich niemand in Deutschland würde einen "GermanyCoin" akzeptieren!! Die Entwickler wollen doch nur schnell auf den Ländermünzenzug aufspringen und schnell absahnen. Da bleibt natürlich keine Zeit für eine ordentliche Namensgebung!! Dabei stünden doch so viele Bezeichnungen durch die vielfältige Währungsgeschichte Deutschlands offen, wie z. B. elektronischer Reichsthaler [ERT], Reichsstückgroschen [RSG], oder einfach Nazigold [NG]. Zudem hättet Ihr noch eine fette Schlagzeile in der Bild-Zeitung: "Nazihacker unterwandern Währungssystem! Ist der Euro in Gefahr?! Bild erklärt, wie Sie sich schützen!" Ist ja eh zu spät jetzt, aber beim nächsten mal, unbedingt auf die Namensgebung achten!!! |
