Gentlemen, BYC price is at a historic ATL level. The only way is up from here. Otherwise, if it continues downward, there are no support levels left..
I'm not trolling here. Support your coin and set your buys Smiley
I'm buying anyways, but only for speculation.

Hey guys, could someone please sum up what is in store for this coin? I could see some enthusiasm, but not much info. Maybe the community is in a slack or something?
Thanks in advance!

What, dev is having issues with his girlfriend? Give him some time, people, Anyway, what's the rush here? SafeNetwork is nowhere near launch, so anyone who bought this, actually threw some money into a black hole Cheesy
Next time you want to do something like this, send me the BTC instead and I will promise I'll do everything to save the world!
And the whales.. and the DAO as well Cheesy Cheesy
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitcoinDark (BTCD)--Financial_Privacy/SuperNET_Core/InstantDEX/PAX/Divs on: April 11, 2016, 09:16:33 PM
I believe what is really needed here is clear communication. An easy to follow, simple roadmap format would be perfect, with one central channel of communication in the shape of a dev blog and all secondary channels pointing to that. MaidSafe and Lisk are doing a great job with this, while Augur is the perfect bad example. I abandoned NXT and Supernet months ago for the main reason that there was so much noise and so many parallel developments that it was impossible to track what was going on exactly.
Meanwhile in cryptoland, insane pumps have been happening with mad volumes and attention magnet projects like Maid, Lisk, Ethereum, Zcash, etc are just a few weeks/months away from launch...
Would be great to see Iguana and Supernet in that league.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitcoinDark (BTCD)--Financial_Privacy/SuperNET_Core/InstantDEX/PAX/Divs on: April 11, 2016, 05:10:17 PM
Btcd is now a sleeper but it's very alive and it's going to be a very important piece in a larger set of tools that requires all other piaces to be in place as well in order to get the maximum benefit.

You can hardly see the progress here on BTT, the den of trolls, because most discussions take place in Supernet Slack(channels #iguana # btcd), James also posts frequent updates in bitco.in forum where the mods created a section for Iguana. He's is coding like a mule and github gets daily updates. Also a team of people is helping with gui and testing.

James is developing this brand new Bitcoin wallet called Iguana that is coded from scratch in C. Unlike the other clients available, Iguana is extremely optimized and allows to create a full bitcoin node in a fraction of the time of other implementations. Beside being a Bitcoin wallet it also includes a Btcd wallet, Pax (pegged assets), Pangea (decentralized poker), Teleport (privacy), Instantdex (decentralized exchange), Jumblr (bitcoin mixing) and all other Supernet features.

Iguana could very well get mass adoption from Bitcoin users who wish to run a full node, also many users who currently use a spv wallet could change back to a full node since it will not be as painful as it used to be. Imagine when they see the other features and a fraction of them become Btcd/Supernet users and you get an idea of where all this is going.

Hey guys, and special thanks to you barbierir for providing a summary of where BTCD is headed.
I don't meant to troll here but what you wrote reads like this is going to be the iPhone 12 of crypto Cheesy
Sounds extremely promising, but I fail to see where this Iguana wallet is going to be beneficial for BTCD. Also, Pangeapoker's last update on its website is over a year old and InstantDEX dev updates are as fresh as November 2015. So judging from the fragmented attention that these numerous projects have been receiving lately, if you're aiming for the full feature wallet that you've described as above, it's a safe bet to predict the release date of that wallet at around the same date when the iPhone 12 comes out Smiley

Why don't the devs go for a minimum viable product instead of advertising loads of cool features and products that require presently unavailable resources?
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: August 10, 2015, 08:59:43 PM
If I may advertise/inform a bit...
Auction of the first Ethereum oil painting is happening here:

http://forum.ethereum.org/discussion/1273/into-genesis-oil-painting-auction#latest

The term "Unique features" has just acquired a new meaning. No other crytpto coin has 30 hour transaction times and an oil painting of the logo Cheesy Cheesy
Actually, order a fresh painting for each tx and then you can literally watch paint dry while your transaction confirms! Cheesy

omg... only in crypto
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: August 01, 2015, 02:03:31 PM
So let's say that $18m isn't that much considering the size of their team. How much more dev work is needed for Ethereum to be the big thing that everyone expects it to be? One more year maybe? That's another $9m to keep them afloat from January 2016. Anyone here ready to invest? Or "donate" as they like to call crowd funders Cheesy
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: August 01, 2015, 12:22:31 PM
Hey everyone,
if that chat log isn't fake then ethereum is headed for disaster, or call it what you may..

1. they only have until the end of 2015 to fund developers
2. total chaos governs their collaboration methods. these guys and gals were actually brainstorming on how to set up a functioning organization, how to communicate among teams and how to sell the news to funders that more money is needed for the project to get anywhere. AND this was in May, just 2 months ago and after a year of doing serious work behind the scenes Cheesy

Whatever the truth, $18m was burned and nothing to show for

If the chat log is legit, then the launch of the "coin" was a desperate move to at least show the public "something"..

The other thing I don't get is, why is it taking days for the first transaction to happen? Shitcoins are launched and mined every day and seem to work just fine.

Hi XDN,

did Darknote get delisted from bittrex? Never paid much attention to XDN before and I mostly trade on trex, for which you do have a link in the OP but there is no XDN market there...
Care to enlighten me? Smiley

If anyone here wants to see real developments done by real devs, I suggest you check out the Supernet slack. This forum is a waste of time and energy.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Shell Coin [Bittrex_Yobit_C-cex][Masternode Android Wallet Released] on: May 21, 2015, 06:23:36 PM
Update:

This Sunday both Escrow and the Beta ShellStore will be released at the same time. Both will be fully working, but the ShellStore images will not be enabled yet. I have done several tests and everything works as it's supposed to. The Sunday after, I will do a fork to implement the following:

- Encrypted file send feature.
- Enable images for the ShellStore
- Enforce collateral to start a ShellStore
- Reduce POS block output

With that the first 4 point roadmap will be concluded, and a new roadmap will be posted.

ShellCoin

Hey Shellcoin, impressive developments!

I'm looking forward to getting answers to these questions:

How will escrow work? What are the features exactly?

How will the collateral be implemented? Like a masternode, or something different?

How do you plan to reduce POS?

and lastly: have you considered opening an irc channel for scheduled discussions with your investors? It would definitely strengthen the community and confidence in you.

176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BOOM COIN |9% STAKE| BITTREX | BOOMTOWN | COINGATEWAY |PARTNERSHIPS | WP on: May 17, 2015, 09:11:50 AM
Your lack of info is killing this coin and along with it the confidence of the people, Investors, that have backed this coin. I mined this coin, when it was first released, I have held and bought more. I'm prob one of many.. We know you are trying your best to get backing, but it would not kill you to just put up a small statement once a week, it only take 2 mins.

Do you want the price of the coin so low? are you the ones buying it up at these cheap prices?

Give info, keep moral up, keep price of coin stable. Is it really too difficult for you ??

Status updates will be posted monthly on cleverhash.com as we are under a full workload and working diligently, weekly updates proved redundant during this stage. We will move to daily updates once things begin to move forward after reaching our goals. Thank you for your continued patience.

The above message was the dev's last post more than a month ago.

https://twitter.com/cleverhash
The twitter account was updated more than three months ago.

http://cleverhash.com/news-important-updates/
The mentioned monthly updates on cleverhash.com somehow still show a single post from march.

I'm sure dev will get back soon and announce a spectacular development which will send the price to the mooooon! Cheesy:D

Any more questions?
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Shell Coin [Bittrex_Yobit_C-cex][Masternode Android Wallet Released] on: May 16, 2015, 07:02:40 PM

if your just getting into to cryptos and have lost that much you are going in too deep on new coins and need to learn when to enter and exit at the right time, before 10k crashed to 1 sat and was slowly coming down I made a bunch of profit from staking it even when it was at 5- 10 sats then once it was at 1 sat I just staked until the swap. diff coins take diff strategies, people taking losses due to panic selling/buying is about them either not thinking before they bought or not having the patience to wait out the dumps. If you buy more than your willing to walk away from on brand new coins you'll always be stressed on price dips and be tempted to panic sell.

when I was first getting into cryptos I knew I would lose my shirt if I dove into too deep so only played with small #'s and tried to be as cautious as I could lol and still lost a significant amount of my gains on multiple occasions because I didn't make enough rules to trade/hold by and broke the one rule every newb should follow "never fall in love with a coin" (especially new ones they are much too unpredictable)   well over a year now and have added many rules to my crypto book and will only enter a new/developing market with a small amount of BTC theres no way to tell if a market that is only a few days/weeks old will be able to handle big buys or exits and how much recovery time it'll take after someone makes a large exit (or dump as people seem to like to call it)

I bought most of my first SHELLS at 3k - 5k early on and made up for it through the dpos blocks I found... if someone bought early at that price and didn't stake their coins expecting just trade them not realising that the price was going to drop near the end of the dpos blocks then that is their fault for not reading/predicting how the market will react correctly. as I mentioned every coin may take a slightly diff strategy or even drastically diff strategies. I've happily bought more SHELL at 1600+ over the last couple days. I enter a new coin "shallow" and start going in a little deeper as I gain a clearer perspective on where I think a coin is heading based on the dev, their plans and market feel.

and always stay diversified

Hi Fonz, thanks for the insight to your trading strategies. You never know where you might find some valuable info, and here you are, giving it away Smiley
One question: what's your stand on the unknown coin count here? The dev looks solid (as far as newbie accounts go in a jungle of shitcoins), but he never really responded to the max coin count issue. I find this alarming, especially with the apparently 100k daily coin additions to the network. Of course, I didn't verify this. So, please let me (us) know your thoughts on this

Thanks!

Ok then, will be watching this thread for updates. Do you have twitter so your investors can follow the news?
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GRAV] Graviton SHA, dPOS, Decentralized Slack/IRC, Gravitator Nodes on: May 04, 2015, 07:38:08 PM
Sorry, but I still don't get it. Decentralized social network? Is that the secret weapon? Crave was amazing in that it promised so much and then delivered. Hence the insane pump. So how does GRAV compare? Or will it be something like SLING, getting on trex at 15k, in 3 days it will be 5k?
Seriously though, I'm curious
No the secret weapon is really Decentralized Slack with support for paid membership channels, at least IMHO.  The Twister port is a cool feature, but the decentralized IRC is the killer dApp.  No central servers, no pay us huge amounts of money once you go over 10k lines of history or else we cut off your search, fully encrypted end to end, anonymous, and that works like Slack or IrcCloud.  If you have a trading group for instance, you could set up a private channel that requires people to pay say 1k GRAV every month for access.

Thanks for your reply Dev!
Well as long as your decentralized app works as smoothly as Slack AND you can show some alpha or video of it, then it could make a big move.. When are you planning to release a roadmap?
