175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I wanna design a new crypt coin, what features should be included in ? on: April 28, 2013, 04:56:20 PM
I want a coin that randomly selects any miners gpu on the network and just blows it up everytime a block is found.

New block found on pool 0
Incoming!!!
 ZAp!!.Smoke!!..a little spark and fire!!

Fun for all ages. Would make mining hell of a lot more fun.

oh, oh,...and dont forget a massive pre-mine..like 35%-100%... just for shits and giggles.

oh,oh,oh ...and call it something bird/weight related...like lintcoin, dodocoin, duckfeathercoin, extremelylitecoin.....

Cheesy

Try something more challenging. What about 146% of pre-mined coins?

Nah. i think Cripple[xrp] already has that market cornered.

your title -Litecoin creator just as lazy as the others.

Then whom are you referring to?

Reading and comprehension are two very important and complimentary skills, the likes of which you seem not be a master of..

179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin creator just as lazy as the others. on: April 28, 2013, 03:17:08 PM
Just saying, there are like around 10 commits in the past year and this guy hasn't even pulled the recent Bitcoin changes into Litecoin, as the code is similar. In fact, the Terracoin dev was waay more productive than this guy.

I guess he(coblee) is looking to disappear like Satoshi, so he doesn't plan to update the UI, add more features, optimization, nothing??

And just for reference, have a look see at the only change in the last 2 months https://github.com/litecoin-project/litecoin/commit/3aaa7ba5d05ff7ec35e2cd704e1e1b3da58b70b4

Can you code?
yes?...then fix it yourself.
No?....Then shut the F-up!

If you understood the litecoin source code you would know how uninformed you are in calling it 'similar' to bitcoin or terracoin.  They may share some foundation code but that's it.  Just because a bus and a car have wheels does not make them 'similar' when they run you over.  You have better odds of surviving one over the other.
Ok, let me rephrase and I will stand behind it firmly, Litecoin is JUST a copy of Bitcoin's source code with scrypt added for PoW and changes to the difficulty. Saying it's using the same "foundation" is just pure denial.

Like saying a bus is a copy of a car....just with more windows and seats and maybe 10 more tons of metal added for PoW???
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin creator just as lazy as the others. on: April 28, 2013, 03:14:24 PM
I live in Europe, thats why.

Me too.  I'm spending my own money and taking my own time off work to go to the conference. I don't know where Coblee is based, but he's taking time, effort, travel (unless he lives there) to go too.

So maybe it's not the Litecoin creator and "others" who are the lazy ones?
Good for you, you have money and can make time, I do not have money and even more so making time for travel.

I'm not boasting, I'm saying that some people are willing to make sacrifices to get things done that they believe in. I'm sure you have solid reasons why you can't go.

What you don't have is any justification for calling the rest of us lazy.
Now where did I say that? I name only a single entity.

In your title...jeeez...too lazy to comprehend what you wrote as well and need us to point it out for you too?
