I got the name too, but the allcaps making it a little bit hard to read. Punkkoin is a good suggestion, with 1st K inverted on the logo. Would look simple and cool i think.
163  Economy / Economics / Re: The gap between poor and rich countries, a major impediment to global adoption on: September 20, 2018, 09:12:09 PM
I live in Africa and trust me when I tell you that people are actually waking up. In fact, if anything, bitcoin is probably much popular within the youth in these underdeveloped countries then in Europe because the need of an alternative of fiat etc. is there so people will eventually find bitcoin.
Yeah, i would agree to that. When i was visiting underdeveloped asian countries, i saw that tendency too.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: it's time to buy ethereum on: September 20, 2018, 09:02:24 PM
I absolutely agree with your positions, people who bought ETH for 175$ made a good profit already, imagine profits when ETH will come back to 500$ or 1000$?
Would it though? How possible it would reach such heights?
165  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Encouraging People to Stay on: September 20, 2018, 08:56:12 PM
But what does it really makes to make people interested in hodling they crypto, and not leaving? Prospects of some distant profits only? Or some people just get exited when trading, no matter the gains?
166  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin holders will have to pay their tax? on: September 20, 2018, 08:48:36 PM
How do even "count" how much one person have earned through the bitcoin trading for taxation? I don't really see the way how that could be taxed in some way.
167  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Breaking: Russian plane shot down in missile attack on Syria on: September 20, 2018, 08:42:01 PM
There was already an "accident" when Turkey shot down 2 of Russia's planes, and with no real consequence. I'd feel that this time it'll probably be the same deal - there will be some noise in the media, but in a few months it'll be forgotten and "forgiven". Maybe some sanctions in queue.
168  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are your favorite board games ? on: September 20, 2018, 08:33:50 PM
I like to play wargames. My latest pick is infinity, very deep and interesting.
Nice! I'm actually into Warhammer myself, but i heard good things about infiniti.
169  Other / Off-topic / Re: Flat Earth on: September 18, 2018, 10:32:37 PM
This is a great video about flat earth. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVa2UmgdTM4

Here we can see the curvature measured with a proper science experiment. It even has that most excellent robotic voice.

But I doubt any of you flattards will watch this since you're already convinced of your superiority to the rest of humanity.

You can say he defeated flat-earth arguments flat... flatly? I dunno, Need to rotate my globe and think about appropriate pun.
170  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Vaccinated vs. Unvaccinated: Guess who is Sicker? on: September 18, 2018, 10:23:13 PM
In my country thanks to the vaccines the number of diseases has been reduced, so I have nothing to complain about the vaccines.

That's the whole point of the study. One disease might be reduced or cancelled out by vaccination, but a whole lot of other disease thrive because of it. And many of those that thrive would never have existed if vaccinations were not around.

Cool
With such rhetoric you could block any arguments coming your way, really. What do you mean, those that thrive would not have existed, how do you know that? Based on studying 600+ children in a country where there is tenths of millions of them? I know that thanks to the vaccination i didn't have to spend months lying in bed with some kind of outdated illness, and i wouldn't want my kids to suffer those too. So your argument is really null, because there is neither point, nor sense behind it.
171  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Putin has taken a cautious position on cryptocurrencies on: September 18, 2018, 10:06:44 PM
One word - taxes. They either try to control it (which they can't really do, with level of technical education in government structures), or they will try to ban it. Either way it will be trying to hold the water with bare hands, as happens with most of the "banned" content in Russia.
172  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Encouraging People to Stay on: September 18, 2018, 09:49:01 PM
Seeing so much people believe fills me with faith in ETH future. Rise my fellow token, to the moon, brother!
But seriously, it's just another autumn dip imo. It will be better, im sure.
173  Economy / Marketplace / Re: For god's sake, stop lestening to mainstream Media and wake up people... !! on: September 18, 2018, 09:38:20 PM
Basically, if MSM tells you that crypto is a bubble and a scam - think opposite.
But still keep ya head cool and be reasonable, lest you want to "invest" in some bitconnect-like stuff.
174  Other / Off-topic / Re: Doing a job you like is important than money earned. on: September 18, 2018, 09:27:44 PM

Well... Actually you can find jobs that you love and you make tons of money.
But usually if you started your career doing something that you love... and then you make your living our of this... eventually is gonna be like other normal job, and at some point you will be tired of dealing with bosses and all the burocracy of working for other.

What's funny actually, that no matter if you are working for yourself, you would have to deal with same kinds of crap over and over, like myself, taxes, more and more of them, especially. I started my business small and i loved it; now it's quite big and i wish just to toss it away and go live in the forest  Cheesy
175  Other / Off-topic / Re: Facebook is most dangerous website on the internet on: September 18, 2018, 09:20:28 PM
Facebook is used by scammers, criminals, terrorists, cyber criminals and for all kinds of illegal activities.

Facebook is the most dangerous website on the internet.
And most evil use of FB is by our\your government to spy on you, and get all info on you, that was ever posted online, without even your consent.
