Ooohhhh. CPU only. Hey, this isn't 2011 you know. The cpu farms will rape it. You better make it Gpu friendly, or else it will die.
FCN will rape the CPU farms in return. I don't understand why it has to be GPU. CPU works just as good as GPU but besides that it's energy-saving. So why GPU when CPU? I would be happy if we had both. Anyhow, it's up to our devs. Maybe they're already working on it. |

Fortunately for us - developers foresaw this future and created an algorithm with every-block-adjusted difficulty.  Developers are just awesome in general  . "waiting for new cool updates here" FCN developer team is not a gang of newbies, these guys know what they're doing. I remember i was pretty impressed when in may they made the first GUI miner for CN coins. I was surprised as well. That was a great contribution in cryptonote development. I've never doubted our dev's competence. The fact that they were able to implement Merge mining speaks for itself. Merge mining is so technically difficult so anybody who is able to implement it is already a badass. |

With less time and energy used you can double your profit. Welcome to merged mining It also lets you compare features of both coins and figure out for yourself which one is better. If one coin fails somehow, the other one will be your lifesaver. Calling it a lifesaver is a little bit too much in my opinion, but i get what you mean. |

Have you ever wondered what if regular updates is an indication of coins imperfection? If the coin is already awesome, frequent changes are not needed.
