the GUI switcher
you mean my switcher? would be cool to have some feedback on bugs or whatever if you've tried it.

I took the switcher offline while I iron out a few bugs I found and finish a Windows build

The switcher is ready for beta testing
what would be the right place to post it? just here or in a new thread in the software section?
Perfect! Post it here first then I'll direct our friends on reddit to it. Is it ok if I include a menu item with donation addresses? Of course, dude! Here you go https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19353176/MyriadSwitcher.zipThanks! So this needs to be compiled or what? Do you have instructions for it? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) No need to compile, but you need Python installed, and then a couple dependencies too (wxPython & psutil). I'm new to Python but I'll find a way to package this properly and will include a user guide too

Right now it switches algos by starting/stopping the different miners. If/when there's a multiport pool for every algo, I can tweak the switcher to switch pools in the miner But yeah, the miner needs to know which algo to run for each pool/port. I don't even know if the miner can swap algos seamlessly, if that's even possible

anyone willing to help me beta-test my python switcher?
please shoot me a pm

how can we read network-hashrate from myriadcoind?
myriadcoind getmininginfo doesn't seem to have the info?
you can infer it from the difficulty

dammit! I missed that somehow. Thanks man ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

MYRIADCOIN IS HARDFORKING AT BLOCK 142000. MAKE SURE YOUR WALLETS ARE UPDATED ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) 0.8.99.9 for Windows is fine? Yep, that's what I'm using. Thanks By the way, when I set the wallet to run on startup it's overwriting the bitcoin shortcut instead of creating a new one

Any chance you guys could publish some sort of xml or json API with the difficulties and the current per-block reward? web-scrapping the blockchain site is pain in the ass. Especially now that you're working on it

Can anyone help me get a formula to calculate the amount of coins per day and MH/s based on difficulty for Scrypt, Groestl, Skein & Qubit please?
86,400 / (difficulty * 2^32 / hashrate) for SHA256D Rest you can see at the blockchain here. http://myriad.theblockexplorer.com/Ok, this formula works for SHA-256, Scrypt, Groestl & Skein. But with Qubit it doesn't add up when I compare the figures with what pools predict for a daily outcome. Can someone from the dev team confirm if the assumed equivalent hashrate for Qubit @ 1MH/s scrypt is 7MH/s or 7.777MH/s in http://myriad.theblockexplorer.com/?EDIT: oh, nevermind. apparently http://myr.nonce-pool.com/ has it wrong. It's 7MH/s
