Considering the style of football Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland plays, it's absolutely possible for both players to feature in one team because unlike Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappe can perfectly play in the positions but Haaland is only good as a top 9 striker. Manchester City without doubt will do anything within their strength to make sure they bring Kylian Mbappe to the club if the chance ever comes but I don't think such thing is going to happen because Real Madrid have reportedly completed over 85% contract deals that'll see the French national team captain join them in the summer. Mbappe also wants to join Real Madrid in the summer and that's why I don't give too much attention to rumours that suggests that Kylian Mbappe might just join another club that's not Real Madrid when he leaves his current club Paris Saint Germaine Again, I don't know whether this can really be a goal for Manchester City to sign Mbappe, but if they want to, I think the solution would be to use Mbappe as probably the most dangerous winger next to Vinicius Junior that is out there at the moment. |

Bayern Munich is not successful in the league. They fell behind Bayer Leverkusen. They no longer have a chance to catch them. The only target for Bayern Munich was the Champions League. Now time for it to come true for me haha. I see many people got 0/3 and I had to get the opponent who has 1. Juventus was a big risk, but I just felt Lazio didn't have it in them, and turned out to be right. Still very close call though. Not too inclined to check very hard but I think my round vs mv1986 could be in a draw tonight, thanks to Villa somehow drying up after the first half. I already saw some outcome of this adjustments, a negative merit (-161 Loudmouth ) is way too much theymos, maybe you can just remove them instead. I love this. My challenge will be to zero out my merits. I am working on it. @Little Mouse time to draw some consequences and kick out these subpar signature campaign participants. philipma1957's trash posts were tolerated for too long and he refuses to take time reading the threads he actually posts in.

I think it would have been better for Bayern if they had parted ways with Tuchel immediately instead of keeping him until the end of the season. To be honest, if you look on Bayern Munich's performance in the last few games, I see Arsenal as the clear favorite in the CL. Somehow I also have the feeling that Tuchel isn't taking it all that seriously anymore. Dortmund were well prepared today and Arsenal will definitely prepare just as well. Easier said than done. I agree that Tuchel wasn't the right choice especially since he is so similar to Nagelsmann in terms of how they coach a team. This isn't meant to say that Nagelsmann and Tuchel are the same level, but they are very similar character in terms of their approaches as coaches. Since Bayern wanted this surprising and massive change during a solid season from Nagelsmann to Tuchel, I think most of us were shocked because it wasn't really a fundamental change. But now looking back it would have made sense to fire Tuchel earlier as his responses to defeats and criticism were pretty weird sometimes. He was talking weird trash in interviews. It would be rough for Tuchel if they get Nagelsmann back now! But the problem for Bayern was that they had to have an alternative if they fired Tuchel and there weren't really any good coaches available who were also willing to spontaneously jump in I guess. |

 This is probably the funniest round of the entire season! 13 participants scored 2 points, which makes the median number of points equal to 3 - in fact, if you specifically try to score that many points, it will be simply unrealistic on the first try. I’m also seriously surprised that despite how lame Bayern is this season, no one bet against them. Only Ulven suggested that there might be a draw. If the situation is the same with money bets, then the bookmakers are simply swimming in money (and the tears of betters) after this round. This is actually a good way to twist the challenge in our competition. Try to score 2 points or less! Coming from that angle, you are definitely right that it is probably harder than one would think. When I saw Heidenheim taking the 3-2 lead against Stuttgart away from home after being down 2-0, I had to smile thinking about all the picks everyone made. Without a doubt the funniest round by far. |

It seems like firing Ten Hag was the right choice because he quite often annoys United fans, with Ten Hag failing to bring the Red Devils to a consistent performance in every match. Their new recruits also failed to show their best game, high prices do not guarantee that they can perform according to expectations. Hojlund, Amrabat, Mount and Onana are the players recruited by Ten Hag last summer, and I see that these players have not performed optimally this season. We don't know for sure whether they are not suitable for the strategy used by Ten Hag, or whether they themselves find it difficult to adapt. Ten Hag clearly takes full responsibility for his team performance, where if he fails to finish in the Champions League zone he will most likely be fired. It seems like firing Ten Hag was the right choice I have now been searching for the news that ten Hag got fired now, but where did you find that piece of information? If I am not mistaken here, ten Hag is still the Manchester United coach. You should at least do some least fact checking before you spread the news that ten Hag got fired. He is save so far and there are only rumors that Ratcliffe wants to get some changes going, but there was no concrete talk about changing the coach although that might be obvious. First of all, I'm glad I avoided betting on Bayern By the way, I think that yesterday many bets were burned not only because Bayern again unpleasantly surprised everyone, but also because the “reliable” BTTS bet did not work out. As for Bayer having something to fight for, yes, that’s true, but it seems to me that their priority will be winning tournaments (European League, German Cup) and not statistics in the Bundesliga, where at some point they can start as a rotation team. My post wasn't meant to say that they would prioritize this record by any means, but going down in history against a club named Bayern Munich that has been reigning the Bundesliga for decades is quite a worthwhile goal in my opinion. This doesn't mean they would not rotate to achieve that goal. It does mean that the players will not scale down their efforts at any point in time during the season in Bundesliga games when they are getting closer to breaking that amazing record set by Heynckes' Bayern Munich over a decade ago. By the way, the crazy thing about Leverkusen is that you don't even realize when they rotate because they have such a balanced team on and off the pitch. Alonso has done a great job to develop all players equally and to keep them being on fire. Remember when the Africa Cup took place and five players left the team, four of which were core players and played like 95% of the games? You couldn't even notice that the team suffered from any absences. But surely titles are the main priority although records and titles quite often go hand in hand.

This is probably a prime example that submitting in time can always pay off no matter what answers you choose Even if you loose badly you are not getting -1 penalty point if you submitted that helps. Also mentioning it once again in hope all will see it, forgetting to submit slashes the rewards from this season as well. Still thinking we will get a shitload of heat when that happened end of season so trying to at least drill it into the heads of engaged managers so you can back us up and say we were actually talking about it all the time It is written in the OP and specifically pointed out when tagging you all before season started but I just know a lot of people missed it. Surely will back that up. I doubt that anyone missed that piece of information. At first I was considering chiming in with a suggestion that everyone should have one failed submission free of the reward penalty as bad things can happen in life and I would feel sorry for someone who may be having a tremendously hard time for whatever reason and then shit piles up elsewhere, too. But I can only refer to one of my previous posts: such a rule would probably get abused and everyone who fails to submit may come up with this tragic event that happened and therefore no reward penalty is applied. That's why I said the only way forward is a strict rule set and its enforcement and as you said, if someone is aware of a problem prior to a round, then I agree with you that postponing a matchup is a good and right solution that I presume everyone here would consent with. It could be up to the concerned team, but if someone asked me to postpone a round because there is surgery or something else, I'd always be fine with that.
Anyone saw the Tuchel interviews after that game against Dortmund? He always sounds and looks as if he needs to see a psychiatrist after his team messed up once again! He has this sad negative voice and wording. It's pretty unique for a coach to express desperation like that. |

Yes, Madrid's squad has long been at the point where they are not 100% dependent on every player and they can be replaced. Regarding Killian - anything can happen, but this time I don't believe the deal can fall through, if it does it certainly won't be for the reason that he stays in paris, he is well aware that he is unlikely to have a great future at this club In the unlikely scenario that this deal between Mbappe and Real Madrid doesn't go through this season, it would inevitably beg the question what the alternative would be. Mbappe will definitely leave PSG or correct me if I am wrong, but I think he has openly communicated this as a matter of fact. Now what options are there left on the table when he does decide against Real Madrid. In my opinion the only two options left would be Manchester City and Liverpool, but Liverpool only if Salah decides to leave the club and goes to Saudi Arabia for well over 100 million. Otherwise I doubt that Liverpool would be in the position to finance that transfer. Mbappe is a free agent, but he will go for the signature bonus in the amount of the transfer fee that would have otherwise been paid for him. I am excited to see how this story will finally end, but Real Madrid is like 90% likely I guess. Manchester City is stacked with great players although Mbappe would of course improve the team, but not as a central striker as they would barely go for an either/or between Haaland and Mbappe. |

Woah, if I see this correctly I am the only team in the BSFL round 4 table that has 0 correct answers thus far (apart from the H2H questions, both of which are not fully correct either). I am on a good way to finish this round with a 0/10 and leea-1334 didn't submit the answers. No sign from leea-1334 so far, still hoping everything is ok there. But regarding the round, not submitting the answers was probably the only way to lose this one against me... I doubt this would have somehow ended in a draw.
