It's happening, history will repeat itself again, beautiful graphics.

Good Morning WO,s !!!

Interesting concept.

I wonder at the significance of this outlier. We have a extremely small sample size but it does appear to be an aberration forming in otherwise pristine cycles.

I do not know, the only thing that comes to mind is this.
That the blue line rises like a rocket, but in the next halving and then see the next ATH in $60,000. Wink

I think old poit is missing still have some old point,  when cross next level and  waste sometime then trying hit next level and sometime it is depend Good or bad news, i mean propagand.

Bitcoin - What's is Your Plan If That Guy is Wrong?

Quote

Quote
One day Bitcoin is breaking out for the next leg higher, and the bull run has begun, two days later, the sky is falling, sell now and buy lower. You have to be kidding. The best was one group I follow on Facebook as a sentiment indicator, who sold recently and is posting "where are you adding next, I have my levels, where are yours?" Ohh brother. You think the market cares about your levels? What if it doesn't get to your levels then what?

First if you are trading that is it, fine. You are all in, all out, and at the end of the year, you made 10k, you pay your taxes on it. Fair enough, I trade, I know many that trade, and that is pretty much the strategy. Yet investing is different. If you are long term and looking to hold for the long run, or a significant level like $1,000,000 than does it matter if you bought at 4k or 5k? I know, that is not my call, Wences Casares of Xapo CEO and a director of PayPal gave it at least a 50% chance of hitting that level in 7-10 years. Hey who am I to argue with him? Sure I think it is a moonshot, I really don't have a 7-10 year target, but regardless in the next 3-5 years I believe it will be higher. Maybe 50k who knows, I remember Lennart telling me back in the day when it was $1 the thought of it hitting $100 was crazy. I guess 20k was ludicrous! One note "don't push against a bull market".

If you bought 1 Bitcoin at 3500 you might be thinking, wow now is the time to trim it off. If this was a swing trade, or a position trade where you had a specific target than fine. However if you are an investor, and you are thinking, I will sell at 5200 and buy back at 4500, you might be disappointed in the outcome.

First Taxes:

Using a moderate tax rate of 22% on capital gains, your taxable income from this trade is 5200-3500 or 1700. Multiplying by 22% your tax liability is $375. Subtracting $375 from 5200 you get 4826. So Bitcoin has to move below 4826 for the trade to actually work. Ok the initial support is at 4700 and main support is at 4500. So you have the potential of realized gains of $126 at the low end, and $326 at the high end. If you are adding inventory you can buy a whopping 0.072 Bitcoins increasing your stack from 1 to 1.072. Hey every penny counts. But lets look at the other side of the coin.

Bitcoin rallies to 6000 from here, and now you are sitting with no Bitcoin or half a stack. The Bi-Polar analysts go bull crazy and you buy in reducing your inventory to 0.80 including your tax liability. So what is your risk to reward here? You are risking 0.20 Bitcoin to make 0.08 Bitcoin , uhhhhh not so good. This is the reality and why many continue to erode their portfolio. Do not push against a bull. You either believe Bitcoin is going up in the long term or down in the long term. Position that way and build an inventory.

You can do this by position trading. Say you own 2 Bitcoin and have 5k available to trade with. You swing or position trade and the capital gains goes into buying more Bitcoin . Valid strategy, I use it, I love it! However if you are just buying and selling based on some bozo on Facebook , or TV that is telling you to get out, and claims to make 3500% a year, you might want to look in the mirror. Wait don't do that I have some cheap island, beach front property in Belize for sale, only 1 Bitcoin , call me at 1-800-4suckas. If I was making 300% every year I would not be posting on Trading View, I would be looking at that new Callaway Driver (boy its nice) and shaking hands with Tiger at the Masters. What a win, that was epic! Bottom line do not make trades investments, and investments trades. You will lose in the long term mixing strategies.

Pessimism Abound:

With so much pessimism and with so many selling their coins bragging how they are geniuses, they are now waiting for the Big Dip. What if it doesn't come?. Bull markets are born in Pessimism and die in Euphoria. Are we Euphoric yet? No we have an abundance of pessimists waiting for a dip to 4500 some even a retest of the low at 3200. Talk about waiting for a water truck in the desert. Now we have used gold as a comparison before, but lets zoom in on the dip in gold .

Somber and reflective this morning...Easter reminds us that hope must never be lost for as dark as the road may seem, there always lies light at the end of it. May all your prayers be fulfilled.

Bitcoin quick market update( Same View)

Still on same short view guys, Now BTC is painting a BAT pattern , we should keep close eyes on the mini rising channel where the BAT inscribed in, if price keep holding below the previous high may signal huge dump ahead.

My advice is to be a shorter right now with tight stop loss rather than be that guy that see only Long. Lots of divergence on almost all timeframe and at same time oscillating indicators are well overbought.

In all let keep our stop loss short and tight.

Thanks

Current movement sucks a bit Smiley, difficult moves to predict, so normally i don't want to do anything. But to give you something to work with, i am going to do an analysis with a few scenario's, for the bulls and bears.

1) I have drawn 3 charts here. The one on the left, is already moving as suggested past hours. Made that last bounce up from that curved line. My assumption here is, we might see another stop hunt. Already breaking down now as i am writing this, but no big volume yet. I got a feeling price is getting supported again like a week ago at 5200 (read those analysis to understand it). Already seeing an attempt to break that curved line but again it's holding. So we might see that scenario play out. The level of the shake out on the upside, is an assumption this time, don't have much to go on this time.
Important here is, i assume the support zone around 5200/5180 has been created as a big stop zone level, so when we see a Bart move, this zone will trigger a snowball of stops trigger to dump the price.

2) In the middle we can see, that channel i showed a few days ago, is till legit and giving resistance. Bulls just don't seem to be able to break above it. But as long as we stay above 5200/5180, there is a chance to break up. This support zone , is also an important level from scenario 1. The channel gives a target around 5000, the possible triangle more like 4700. However, past days i moved my focus from 4700 to 4800. So also not sure about what it could do if we see a big drop coming days.

3) Bigger picture, this one has not changed at all. I am still looking up with a lot of confidence. As long as we don't see a very big volume drop , as long as we don't see a big break of 4800ish, i have no reason at all to think the rally is already over. I have mentioned the bigger picture scenario a few times already, so i assume you know what the game plan is. If not, read some of the previous analysis to know.

So it's safe to say, i think chances are very small to see it rally from current levels already. The green line, is maybe the best case for the bulls i think, small stop hunt to like 5100 and see a V shape on the low time frame back up above 52xx and than slowly continue the rally, like they did around the 4000 just before the rally to 5K. This is something what can happen, but i don't think it's likely. Think this consolidation needs more tests of support levels. Doesn't have to be 4800 per se, but at least a few more times around 4950/5050

An Ascending triangle is governing support and resistance lines.

Support= 5070
Resistance= 5350

Bullish Scenario:

Weekly and Monthly resistance levels are sitting at the 5350 range. If we close a full daily candle above 5350. I would expect a measure move up to 5700. With another potential leg up to 6000.

Bearish Scenario:

If we close a full daily candle below 5070. I would anticipate a measure move to the 4500 range.
The rsi on the weekly has crossed the upper critical zone for the first time since 2017. The NVT signal is flashing red (sell) which has called every bitcoin top since its inception. Also we have been rejected now twice from the monthly and weekly moving averages.

Please keep in mind we are still on a down trend from 2017 until we break 6700. The bulls are creating a trade zone for us to choose a side. Longs are over leveraged 24k to shorts 19k. With a slow down turn in the altcoin momentum I would trade any leveraged moves cautiously.

John McAfee Triggers Countdown to Unmask Bitcoin Creator Satoshi Nakmoto

Quote
Taking a breather from making $1 million Bitcoin forecasts, it appears that John McAfee has a new narrative to pursue. Namely, the polarizing tech entrepreneur is aiming for the greatest mystery in all of Cryptocurrency, “Who is Satoshi Nakamoto?”

APPARENTLY, JOHN MCAFEE KNOWS BITCOIN’S CREATOR
The shadowy BTC creator’s anonymity has created a thriving market for those people claiming to be the architect of that famous whitepaper. Now it appears that Craig Wright and the gang are going to be redundant shortly because McAfee is getting frustrated and wants the truth out in the open. A series of extraordinary tweets ensued from the original, so get some popcorn ready.

Does McAfee know who Satoshi is? The smart money is almost certainly on no, but as ever with John, his background, charisma, and following will still make this new narrative unmissable viewing. Evidently, some people are concerned about his “outing” of Satoshi but, at this stage, we don’t have any proof or evidence to support that Mr. McAfee knows anything. I take that back, another tweet.
