161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][URO] A Real Long Term Currency: 1 Uro = 1 Metric Tonne Urea Fertilizer on: July 05, 2014, 10:44:24 AM
Is there problem with Bittrex or with windows wallet?

I downloaded this wallet :  https://github.com/uro-/uro/releases/download/v1.0.0.1/Windows-Uro-Qt-v1.0.0.1.zip

I send my coins bought from bittrex to my address. It doesnt arrive. I check the block explorer http://cryptexplorer.com/chain/Uro and it tells me that my address is not seen on network.

Meantime, on Bittrex my withdrawal shows as : Completed

I have written Bittrex support, no answer yet, so I wana try and ask about the wallet I downloaded -- did I use wrong wallet, maybe?

getinfo shows:

My address is UTuSQYN56MSrAQGYbRw14TgHzRsTstHkPD. My transaction ID accdg to bittrex is 6304984e4c50e955206b25d894f3e70e57662ab86fc176900b1367529417ae1b .

Would really appreciate any help / suggestions on this matter.  Thanks in advance Smiley

The delay is possibly just a result of the high difficulty and the time it takes to mine the block with your transactions

Connected just fine here right at the start, and wts 52 MTC  Grin

curious if you are mining on the wallet or using the pool they supplied, seems weird the pool would not be operational looking at the pool info.

I mined straight from my wallet and was very lucky i guess, not found anymore blocks for a while now

What makes this coin special? I see so much volume in Bittrex.

From a purely technical standpoint, I am not sure if there is much that one can claim as especially unique about the coin currently. However, there appears to be good devs, a good team, merchants planned, a good wallet, possibility of anonymity being added,  and the ipo money to basically do anything they want -- including buying their way onto larger exchanges. Based on volume, this appears like it'll be unnecessary, however.

If you look at max coins and the potential for the coin, it does look undervalued, even at 3x ipo price. I'd think simply getting on larger exchanges would boost it several times current value, and that doesn't even count what the devs do.

Fully agree. 30k sat is really a bargain. Would NOT be surprised seeing 100k sat with 24 hours from now.

Looks to me as though a lot of people who bought in at 10k have woken up this morning, noticed the prices and started dumping for a quick profit,100k my ass  Grin Grin
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [CRYPT] [CRY] CryptCoin ANON X11 PoW/PoS -- [$300] LOGO PRIZE NO IPO/PREMINE on: June 03, 2014, 02:45:18 PM
Is it true the XC team is also involved in the annon tech of CryptCoin? could somebody confirm?
This would be great news for the value of the coin as they already have a proven track record...

I would have thought the XC team have their hands full as it is to be honest, think about it

True, sounds logical, so rumor was prolly some douchebag spreadin missinformation then, thanks!

Yeah my guess is the Polo trollbox pumpers have been hard at work  Grin

Pumping? nope, read for yourself : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=618377.msg7061677#msg7061677 The XC dev actually posted this into this thread. Granted he is not helping CRY on a day to day basis, but he provided the open source part of the original X11 coin. If the XC dev had contact with the CRY dev team that tells me that CRY actually has legit development. You might want to consider stocking up on cry because I can see this puppy at 3 to 5 USD with ease.
Disclaimer: yes I have invested in XC and CRY and I wish them both a prosperous future.

Well i hope you're right and this does turn out to be legit,i personally have nothing against CRY but so far all i have seen is a load of twitter and trollbox pumping and no substance,as an investor who also holds  rather respectable amounts of DRK and XC i need to see more than just 200% jumps and dumps before i'm persuaded Wink

Many oil producing countries have been trying to split from the Petrodollar for a long time now (i won't go into details but many will know that generally oil is only bought/sold in USD and why) so best of luck in getting cryptocurrency acceptance Tongue

this coin isn't anonymous yet,  right?

I doubt it will ever be anonymous,it's just one of the latest craze of copy/paste crapcoins doing the rounds this week.

A competitive MMO by today's standards would cost an awful lot of money to develop and reilize, let alone compete with the big names out there, let's be totally frank here folks, even without these shenanigans i fail to see why any serious investor would back this.
