I think soopy is still working on things. I know a couple of you messaged me for updates but i have not heard any more than you guys.
If we hear nothing by monday then we can make new plans. With the POW at the stage it is with a lot of the coins mined up, i don't think x11 is a big deal. Perhaps just POS addition is needed. In this case i am not sure if we would need a coin swap, perhaps just a wallet update would be sufficient.
The coin tech is important but the marketing is far more important for sure.
Let's wait a bit longer soopy could still come through.
+1 to POW without x11 if it can be implemented on the actual blockchain without the need for a coin swap. My ignorance will show up here, but maybe i'm not the only one with the same feeling: The new coin (bee2) + the need to swap bee1 to bee2 was a complete surprise for me. I believed that the changes were going to be implemented on the live blockhain, maintaining BeeCoin as "bee". Anyway the bee2 PRE-ANN was already done, so I supported whatever Soopy decided. There was a good momentum there... Maybe at this point we can vote for: coin swap with all the changes - versus - maintain bee with less changes.What do you think? I won't mine scrypt anymore... PoS is interesting but maybe not enough... I would prefer to swap on X11 but i cannot foresee the techincal consequencies... But... swapping on X11 w PoS, relaunching the coin, could give higher dynamic feeling to miners and investors than adding just PoS... |

2 things need to be done.
1. Get listed on mintpal
2. Hire developer
summer foundation stands at 49k SUM. Maybe I will try contact mintpal when we reach 1 million SUM. I will offer them 1 million SUM to get listed. You never try you never know. Or if we have better use of fund that would be good but right now summer foundation target to use the fund to get listed on mintpal. If need fund to pay developer that will be fine too. Any objection ?
+1 But I think we will get on Mintpal one way or another. In my opinion it would be better to spend Foundation money for improving coin - for example hire a programmer to make better, professional-looking website and pay new dev for working on this coin +++++++++++++++1 I think the first priority is to have a dev who will take the reins and guide the coin... Frankly speaking if an investor seeing the coin on MintPal will take a look here and will see the situation (a coin wout a dev) i have my dubts he'll buy even 1 SUM. I'm sorry for the guy is trying to keep alive the multipool for SUM wout miners (i have respect for his dedication, trust and hardworking) but personally w a coin in such situation (wout the dev) I don't have any intention to point on SUM even half GPU. On the contrary stimes i have a feeling to sell evthing. Can you imagine what it will be if a bug will stuck the coin at such point? Who will fix it? We r like on a ship at the mercy of wind and sea... Wout a dev who is following the coin for me there is no mean to trust... no trust, no investors... no investors, no future... After one day of mining in solo i started to have problems with the wallet...
It hangs without giving any error.
From debug window i can see it's stuck to a such block and doesn't go on: last block and last time block are stuck.
The wallet goes on to work and to accept the commands but if u try to close it the h5c icon remains in the taskbar and i need to kill the process.
Already tried to delete evthing from appdata folder first keeping the same wallet.dat file then with a new one with the same result.
The wallet also hangs without solo mining... just staying open.
I have many other wallets and all of them work preperly.
Is somebody else experiencing similar problems?

Which OS? W7 pro 64bit. Firewall exception has been added on the first wallet run. I PMed u one debug.log file may can help u to ustand the problem. Thank u very much for support. |
