161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: May 15, 2017, 11:21:08 AM
Basically we don't know the risk in every site if you invest money in a site first is you don't know if the site was trusted there are site that can give you small profit but many site are just scamming people who invested.

I think why its risky because its like probability. you have only 2 chances. you may gain or loss your money when you invest it. nowadays numbers of scammers is higher than the trusted sites.

You can avoid those scammers by not investing your bitcoins anywhere and simply keep them safe in wallet and wait for the price to go higher in future and in that case there is no risk of loosing your money and will give you only good returns on your investments in future.

Keeping money in your purse is not an idea, rather than worrying about scammers, be careful, then take advantage of your money to make a profit. Business is not a difficult job, use your intelligence and make money.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][QAU] QUANTUM PROJECT - Connecting markets on: May 15, 2017, 01:52:54 AM
Do you really think that people selling of their bounties will dump the price of any stock, the amount of coins they will be providing for bounty will be really a small percentage of the allocated coins and i personally think that it could not make any difference.Really interested to see how this performs when it hits the market.

Quantum project does not give any Quantums for free in form of bounties or any similar rewards. All bounties are paid out in Bitcoin, so no free Quantums for anybody to dump when it starts trading.

The plan for not giving free Quantums is really great such that airdrop/bounty hunters will not jump in just to get their free coins.
And normally, once the coin hit the exchanges, they are the first ones to dump because they don't understand the real value of what they are holding on to.
And I believe that if the project is really sincere and has real plans, then, there's no reason to just give them easily.
That's why, QAU project deviates from the usual operation, instead they are paying in terms of BTC.
Maybe some of here are just misguided, there will be no dumping as this sig campaign is paid not in QAU coins but in BTC.
This project are very successful thru signature campaign and you're right, there are no free coins given and this also part of their marketing strategy that only investor can hold the coin.
Exactly, to be honest, I do not believe in the altcoins, especially the altcoins are free to distribute, they often publish inaccurate information, it makes their pennies not strong. Quantium's signature campaign only uses bitcoin budgets, which show their real power.
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Losing Faith in Bitcoin? on: May 14, 2017, 02:24:54 PM
Price drops are caused by people taking money out of Bitcoin into fiat.  Bitcoin is only inconvenient for small transactions - people who have held a significant amount of Bitcoin will find that it's actually not that hard to be spending >1 Bitcoin, and people who still find Bitcoin quite convenient will not be selling by your logic so it would not cause a very significant price drop.

Actually, you'll notice that when you go to that transaction page you mentioned, a surprising number of the transactions are upwards of 10 Bitcoin.
Profit taking is something to expect every time a market makes a new high and that makes the supply much more than the demand.  Econs101 would then see to the price going down, though mostly within a defined range, from where it is likely to bounce back unless there is a great change in the fundamentals.

Your argument can only explain to the newbie in this forum. In fact, there are many factors that govern the value of a coin. In it, the popularity of bitcoin for the community is a very important factor that can influence the supply and demand of the market, which is why the bitcoin is soaring.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: May 14, 2017, 01:50:57 PM
Alt-coins are permitted to be high rated but can not bit down Bitcoin from its position. Just like dollars which is generally accepted to buy and sell goods in the international market so is Bitcoin a major coin for crypto-transaction other than the alt-coins.

Everybody who uses bitcoin for underground transactions, however, does not prove the power of bitcoin, it just demonstrates bitcoin's usability. Altcoins can completely replace bitcoin in tacit transactions. However, people still use bitcoin, because they make money from it.
165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: May 14, 2017, 01:19:21 PM
They mostly like using cash instead of bitcoins because one thing, they dont like bitcoins and they dont even know how it works and how you can manage your money there,

It is not the exact reason. In fact, money is the only means for people in the world to use in all day to day transactions, although bitcoin has its advantages, but its greatest existence is inconvenience. It is not used in people's lives.
166  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: May 13, 2017, 09:58:21 AM
Because this year alone, Bitcoin has had 3 challenges that were supposed to be negative:
1. Mining pools wanting the fork and leaving main chain.
2. ETF rejection
3. Altcoin increasing dominance

Yet it broke highs in price.
I think if the user is willing to believe and sure to continue using bitcoin. Then all the obstacles that bitcoin will encounter will get out of the way and you can see the bitcoin price keeps going up and nobody keeps it
Well, I think, every day, bitcoin users are increasing, and of course it will affect the price. So, having bitcoin for now, becomes very good for the future, as more and more people need bitcoin, then the price will be higher. Besides, there are so many ways that your bitcoin will grow quickly, like trading.
Bitcoin can not handle a huge number of users and as you can see, there have been many transactions can not be confirmed since 2017 and the fee has been increased as well. If it keeps going like this, people will abandon bitcoin

That is the current situation, which is the bitcoin's problem, and that's why people are turning to segwit. Some people require larger masses, however, without segwit, larger masses would be the bitcoin killer. Segwit is the only way to make bitcoin stronger.
167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used in space? on: May 13, 2017, 07:39:50 AM
Just curious, since the Internet is mostly an Earthly thing... would astronauts be able to access and transfer their Bitcoins whilst traveling throughout the solar system?

Bitcoin works on a digital technology platform, it depends entirely on internet data. So, no matter where they are in the space, just as they can connect to the internet, they can use bitcoin easily. In fact, traveling the entire solar system at the present moment is impossible, our technology can not meet.
168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Palestine to create their own national cryptocurrency on: May 13, 2017, 02:53:12 AM
Meaning a state sponsored cryptocurrency to rival other altcoins and bitcoin. I think it is good on their country to utilized this blockchain technology and be used to enhanced the delivery of government services to its constituents. All will be accountable on the blockchain and transaction is recorded.

No, they do not choose cryptocurrency to deal with bitcoin, they choose what coin they think is stronger than bitcoin for development. It depends on each person's thoughts. And in fact, bitcoin and cryptocurrency do not confront each other, they compete and support each other to generate a profit.
169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Losing Faith in Bitcoin? on: May 13, 2017, 02:22:01 AM
...

Maybe the SW/BU Bitcoin Civil War is starting to have a negative effect.

1. 182,000 unconfirmed transactions (highest I have ever seen in my casual monitoring at: https://blockchain.info/new-transactions)

2. BTC down over $100 in one day.

I sure wish the Miner Wankers and the Developer Wankers would get together and SOLVE the scaling problem(s).  Else they may damage the Bitcoin Ecosystem and discourage newbies from joining the community.

BTC to $5000 if/when they resolve all of this (credit to jonald_fyookball for that prediction, and I would agree with that number).

No, bitcoin has been and is happening civil war, however, it is not a civil war between SW and BU (BU is not entirely qualified to be mentioned here). This is a Civil War that holds BTC CORE and SEGWIT. It's ridiculous to say that btc dropped more than $ 100 a day, before talking about it, it grew faster, it spiked in a short time, so its value was reduced by Completely normal. Also, I am sure the bitcoin can not reach the $ 5000 value over the next 2 years.
170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin works as intended, price confirms on: May 12, 2017, 01:12:43 PM
As I wrote some time ago:
The only thing that makes Bitcoin preferred over other cryptocurrencies is stability and safety, it is the longest running network and for fans of POW, Bitcoin is the most difficult blockchain to attack. Activating Segwit is such a huge change that it will remove this stability and safety - the competitive advantage of Bitcoin. If Segwit is activated and Bitcoin loses this stability safe haven status, why not go for coins that are technologically much more superior, the so-called generation 2 and 3 coins? Bitcoin with Segwit will offer the same level of safety as these other coins but Bitcoin will be much more backward technologically, so it makes no sense to stay invested in Bitcoin with Segwit activated.

Bitcoin should be left alone as a crypto reserve and crypto settlement network, as is, only bugfixes should be done on it.

Price action confirms that investors are fine with leaving Bitcoin as is. It does NOT need big blocks, it does NOT need Segwit. Developers, with your itchy fingers, go play with altcoins. Bitcoin is now investors safe haven, untouchable.

Your judgment is not really accurate, it does not work well in day-to-day transactions, there are too many unconfirmed transactions, this makes the system paralyzed, and the market is not okay. nail. It is possible that bitcoin does not need large blocks, but if it does, it can improve the transaction.
171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A serious obstacle for bitcoin's popularity on: May 12, 2017, 11:29:25 AM
Yesterday morning I wanted to sell some btc and get my local currency. The suggested transaction fee was something like 0.0005 which is (was) less than dollar. Anyway, I agreed and was waiting for the transaction to proceed. Mostly I get lucky and my transactions are confirmed in a few minutes. This one is still pending after more than 24 hours (it's been 30 hours already). I believe if nothing can be done with this, bitcoin will inevitably stop at some point and won't be able to become more popular. Waiting for money for dozens of hours is just too wrong.

It's not bad luck, it's the current problem with the blockchain system. Many transactions have not been processed for a long time, and now I have not seen any remedies. Waiting to make us feel depressed, however, we can not do anything else. Viabtc is a user support system, however, with the current number of transactions, I think they can not help many people.
172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please dump it on: May 12, 2017, 10:53:29 AM
I have lost the run since I sold all my btc exactly the day before the rise. Now I want to come back but price is too high. Please tell the Chinese to make a dump so I can join again. Thanks

We should receive regret, it is our fault. Now, everything is out of control of everyone, the bitcoin market is at its peak, no one can predict anything. Although the value of bitcoin fluctuates constantly, however, it will never return as it did in the past. The value of bitcoin is at a new height.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: May 12, 2017, 01:21:26 AM
I do see altcoins as an amazing source of income, and on the last day those market has becamed a lot atractive to give a try, i had made 500k satoshis profit with them, soo now my bitcoins does worth much more. I dont see altcoins reaching bitcoin anytime soon, but we never know.

Altcoin can be a quick source of income for everyone. However, each altcoin can not make long-term profit, it only existed and developed mutation in a short time, then stopped. Conversely, bitcoin is a stable currency, it is high value and popular. Bitcoin is always a good investment choice.
174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what price will you sell your BTC, and what will you buy? on: May 11, 2017, 11:42:49 AM
It depends upon the situation if i need money then i will sell my bitcoin no matter what the price of bitcoin is but if im not i can still hold longer until the price of bitcoin will be at $3000 per 1 bitcoin and am i the only one who don't buying bitcoin ? and just keep earning from activities of campaign and tradings?

You are not the only one not to buy bitcoin, me and lots of other people here do not buy bitcoin. There is too much danger if we buy bitcoin at the present time. Bitcoin is at its highest price in history, and it is constantly increasing, which is very easy to lead to inflation. Instead of buying bitcoin, I would sell it at the current price, and I am pleased with this decision.
175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what price will you sell your BTC, and what will you buy? on: May 11, 2017, 10:14:19 AM
I want to sell my Bitcoin at around 10k USD, that is if I do not need to sell it early for family need.  If I successfuly sell my BTC at 10k USD, I would buy myself acres of farm lands, and a house and lot.  I always wanted to have farm land where I can plant fruit bearing trees and other plants that can be sold in the market.

I think you are joking, as an affirmation, I am sure the bitcoin never reached that value, the market will collapse before the bitcoin so high. Inflation and the global economic crisis will occur. Although virtual currency continues to grow, it can never replace cash, what you say is unreasonable.
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what price will you sell your BTC, and what will you buy? on: May 11, 2017, 09:32:04 AM
I'm currently waiting for a high price, maybe around $ 2500. If the bitcoin price is almost or has reached that price, maybe I will sell some of the bitcoin I have. Well, it looks very promising.

Do you think it is too high compared to the present time? Surprisingly, with your intentions, even though the bitcoin rises during this time, however, it can not reach $ 2,500, because if that happens, inflation will destroy the market. And the governments who accept bitcoin will not let it happen.
177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM on: May 11, 2017, 08:24:07 AM
I also tried atm and bought some bitcoins from there and for the first time i'm nervous because i thought that it is just a scam bitcoin atm and it will not give your bitcoins after you place your order but when i place an order and pay it with my fiat money the transaction was very smooth and the bitcoins just got into my wallet just after a minute.
Wow that was nice theres have a bitcoin atm in your are. Im hoping that i would try to transact in biycoin atm. And i think soon i will launch here in my country since our local bitcoin wallet are developing virtual card now. I cannot wait to try it to withdraw in bitcoin atm. Hehe

Lanching Btc atm in numerous location would be best option to implement the bitcoin all the countries but using bitcoin atm would consume the cost for the using card in ATM machines right. Xapo, spectrocoin, token, bitpay and etc. All have monthly charges and using card in atm charges additionally. Would it be right option having ATM everywhere!

Before we can deploy ATM bitcoin, we need to talk about its popularity. We can not place ATM bitcoin in a country where bitcoin is not considered, which is a waste. At present, bitcoin is only common in some parts of the world, so little bitcoin ATM exists. The cost of transactions is essential, we do not need to bother about it.
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One of many reasons why I love bitcoin on: May 10, 2017, 02:57:57 PM
I love bitcoin bceause this coin gives me opportunity to earn money even Im student only and I dont have time to work because Im busy in school. But with help of bitcoin I earn money weekly even I do that part time only I will work in bitcoin after my school . I hope bitcoin will live long so many people earn money like me. Love bitcoin very much and I want to earn more bitcoin also so I can earn a lot of money. You why you love bitcoin.?

I like you too, I am a student of a university, my cost of studying is very expensive, however, thanks to bitcoin, it becomes okay nail. You do not need to spend a lot of time with extra work, just stay home and work on your computer. Everything becomes a lot easier.
179  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Transaction fees on: May 10, 2017, 12:41:58 PM
So, today I went on shapeshift to see whether I can sell some eth for btc there. Min sum of eth is only 0.076 which is great but what caught my eye in a miner fee in bitcoin. I guess this is a btc transaction fee, not eth fee, right? Anyway, the sum is 0.0021 BTC! I'm used to fees below one dollar. But more than 3 dollars is just too much, isn't it? What do you think about that? And can anyone tell me what kind of transaction is that (eth miner fee or btc one)?

This is terrible, I have never paid a similar fee, and I never thought that the cost of what we pay so high. In particular, currently the value of bitcoin is too high, this fee needs to be reduced to the minimum fee, it is a waste of doing such transactions. Here, this fee is probably their withdrawal fee when you make a withdrawal, it is very expensive, so if you do not like it, do not use it.
180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning Bitcoins on: May 10, 2017, 11:02:23 AM
There are a lot of ways to earn bitcoins even here by joining signature campaign. By joining signature campaign  just following the rules and after that you can earn btc.

Joining the campaign is not a difficult task, however, it requires you the skills to ensure the quality of the article. And here, he's a newbie, signature campaigns are not available to him, besides, he does not have much knowledge about this forum, so he needs another way of making money, which you can tell him.
