161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get moved by fake good news on: October 15, 2020, 04:46:28 PM
It's called fake testament, and sometimes they even come with proof but it's still all fake, the truth is those who make money one way or the other don't share to the public how they do it, greedy people will always feel like ' let me give a try, who knows? ' and their eye will open once they get scammed
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is not easy to make money in cryptocurrency on: October 15, 2020, 04:42:29 PM
It's not easy to make money on crypto and even offline mate, we have to find our own strategy and work harder, in crypto space it's easier to lose all you've worked for if care is not taken, you can get hooked to FOMO, your crypto wallet get hacked, or invest in wrong ICO/IEO projects, the risks is huge, cares need to be taken around crypto invest and also learning is another way to go forward faster
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU out of memory on: October 14, 2020, 11:07:42 AM
Hellow,

I'm a new miner and I have a problem with my gminer, it shows me that my GPU is out of memory. I have Nvidia GeForce 930X 2GB.

I searched online for a solution I found a lot of people suggest that I should increase virtual memroy, but it didn't work any suggestions?

This is an old gpu, you can't mine majority of coins using that 2 gig memory, you can get away with crypto night coins like haven or loki but the results will be bad, you won't make any good profits even if you mine for 24hrs, you can only get away with mining fresh coins, coins with low mining difficulty
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Solar mining vs diesel generator mining ? Any experience? on: October 14, 2020, 10:52:44 AM
Would it be more safer to buy coins instead of mining? After calculating the costs of buying cards and setting up solar panels with batteries and inverter i see that costs are too gigantic if one plan to run cards for 24 hrs everyday, is anyone mining using diesel generator? Bad idea?
yeah in this very moment buying coin is the best way for profit,  many ppl here including me mining just for hobby and pasive income

but yeah buying coin bigger risk rather than mining for investment, solar mining viable if you had solar already, but for build up solar + lifePO battery its costly and you need the best efficency gpus, solar hybrid yeah still viable

if electric price in your country 5cent/kwh, then solar mining is ded

hydro mining is true king for mining but difficult to find place and buying the land
There are just too many headaches surrounding mining coins today, many things to worry about, from ROI to electricity and efficiency of your cards, as time goes by your GPU life gets smaller too but I like mining because you will make money passively, investing in altcoins is dangerous because of volatility but isn't it same risk with mining? There was as time when Ethereum wasn't profitable to mine anymore and now things changed again.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Where can I get 200 gpus on: October 13, 2020, 03:54:39 PM
I need to buy 200 rx 580 8gb Ive been looking up where to buy and it says China but whenever I want to get gpus from chinese providers or manufacturers or reused cards from other mines but I cant find anyone to buy the cards from I looked for help on reddit but they werent helpful so I came here if any of you has any advice or somebody that can help thanks Smiley
Seriously are you kidding? There are tons of rx570 and rx580 gpus on amazon and newegg from 130$ to 200$ per gpu and some sellers are selling in bulks, don't bother buying from china, use one of these two websites and you will receive your package in few days
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust newbies that starts projects? on: October 13, 2020, 03:43:33 PM
I know many project managers that handles good projects such as Jamalezaz, bounty detective, and many others most of them are either hero members or legend, I believe they have enough experience to handle it mere considering their ranks, not to say the rank is the only criteria to be a good project manager.i always doubt those project starters with newbie ranks.is it that they decide to use a new forum page,or were the restarting after being hacked or disqualified or how come a new be is handling a project? This are few questions that comes to my mind about newbie managers.
It's vice versa bro, not all high ranked members are reliable either and I've joined few projects from jr members that turned out very well, it's only a bit better with high ranking members but do not rely on projects just because they are introduced by High rank members of the forum, though I trust bubbalex the most but still I do my own research
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does bounty still kind of worth on 2020? on: October 13, 2020, 03:40:52 PM
Personally i keep participating in campaigns but the volume is very low nowadays, i still hope good times will be back. It's difficult to tell which project will be successful since the majority of the project is struggling during their crowdfunding. On the other hand for those who joined the bounties but they always end up getting scammed, they will say that it is not worth it anymore. for now I am following the YOUengine project and I am confident enough to believe that their project will be success.
I believe YOUengine is in trouble right now because all they ever used to hype their project is John McAfee and we know what happened to McAfee right now, also John McAfee was part of ESH but they had some bad disagreement which ruin ESH already, I have less hope for Youengine bounty really, the best bounties right now are

1. Poolz
2. Dego Finance
3. JACS
4. Free TON
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ClipX steals KYC data and shuts down on: October 12, 2020, 05:42:17 AM
There was a time where I gave up on my rewards from bounty projects because they asked for KYC which wasn't part of the rules right from the start, im sure that all data will be sold online to others, bounty detective isn't a good bounty manager, most of their projects failed this year, you need to do deep research before promoting any bounty project or you will easily end up wasting your time and energy
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Riserless Motherboard on: October 11, 2020, 09:38:31 AM
anyone have experience with the riserless Biostar Mining Board TB250-BTC D+

https://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/introduction.php?S_ID=902#overview

will they run 7 x 5700 im total noob to all this and hesitant to buy and cards wont run on it.  have a asus B250(19GPU) motherboard that's slowly driving me insane.

Mate the link you dropped isn't working, you should try fix that first and I don't advice running RX5700 cards next to each other without proper space and ventilation simply because these cards gets hot easily unless you are from snowy or cold areas like Chicago or so, risers are a must to keep the cards alive for years to come. Heats are the worst enemy of graphics cards
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [AMD] New AMD RX Graphics Cards of 2019 - RX 5700 / XT, RX 600 on: October 11, 2020, 09:35:29 AM
Rx5700 and RX5700XT are one of the best AMD graphics card for mining nowadays and I still have some respect for AMD VEGA cards as well but the problem with RX5700s are high temp, for longer life these cards aren't the best and also if you are from a hot country Nvidia cards are best for you, I prefer RX480 or RX580 Amd cards over these RX5700s, they are way too hot like 80oC to 90c that's too high.

Nah they are good, more heat output more efficient they are in winter Smiley Love em when its turning under minus 0 C
Same reason why I'm against this RX5700XT, I ordered one from Newegg with double fans but they are too hot for my liking, it feels like the card will die very soon, I have no confidence mining with this card around the clock ( full 24hrs/ day ), some said to get the variants with three fans but they are way too overprice, got mine around 337$ but double fam variants are 449$ or more.

172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: July 17, 2020, 06:28:19 AM
If you are new in crypto space and you haven't had any experience about scams you will fall victim one way or the other but not learning from your mistake is wrong because you might fall victim all over again, for newbies no scam is obvious.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / You want DEFI? Go Oldy on: July 16, 2020, 06:52:52 AM
I will like to keep this simple and short, you want to invest in DeFi projects? Yea they are the best presently in terms of fast growth and adoption but watch out for new DeFi projects because they are probably scam, you want DeFi project? Look into those that's been around since 2018 or max 2019, not all newly launched DeFi projects starts development in 2020, DYOR and Play Safe.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Is MiniTokens (BEP8)? on: July 15, 2020, 07:21:38 AM
Here is another explanation about BEP8, BEP-8 Proposal describes a common set of rules for Mini-BEP2 token management within the Binance Chain ecosystem.
You can get full details and summary through their github here
https://github.com/binance-chain/BEPs/blob/master/BEP8.md#1--summary
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Is MiniTokens (BEP8)? on: July 15, 2020, 07:19:59 AM
Never heard of mini tokens before today. Even tried reading the doc line @Byakuga posted but still couldn't understand what will be the main use case for BEP-8. All I could they will be used my small projects but why use mini and not the BEP2?
Both BEP2 and BEP8 runs on binance chain, how is this hard to understand? There is more than just ERC20 on ethereum blockchain, do you know that? We have ERC 721 too and few others

176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Silver Asset Backed Cryptocurrency on: July 15, 2020, 07:15:47 AM
There is one thing I can't really understand about gold and silver backed tokens, that's the real reason why this use case is on the blockchain, even real gold companies see no reason to jump into blockchain for their business, why blockchain? It doesn't make any sense, it's always about the money isn't it?
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solution to too many promoters on: July 15, 2020, 07:13:28 AM
Bounties problem presently

1. We have too many jobless people around the world due to COV-19 and some fresh people came on here to join bounties because of the pandemic

2. Bounties have too low budgets nowadays, you can hardly see a project that will give up 100k $

3. Bounties are very limited, there aren't too many Campaigns to get bounty hunters occupied

It's true that limiting bounty participants per bounty project is the perfect answer
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Trust a Project Announce BY A Legendary Member on: July 15, 2020, 06:56:28 AM
Status, Ranks and popularity has nothing to do with the potential of a project or it's survival too, long ago advisors have impact on new projects but not today, we need to stop choosing crypto projects because of ranks, legendary members are just like everybody, they aren't crypto Messiah, they can make mistakes
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vindax Scam on: July 14, 2020, 05:54:38 AM
Vindax is a very bad exchange but what OP shows us isn't from Vindax team themselves, another scammer took over and pretended to be a team member from Vindax exchange, many scammers are using this trick still, they will be the one PMing you first which is wrong
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All hope is lost?? on: July 14, 2020, 05:51:26 AM
It's normal in this market, I believe everyone here has ever lost money investing, so don't give up. Continue to invest and conduct careful research, but also avoid Fomo projects. It never had a good result

You're thinking right! Absolutely everyone in this market was losing their money (often a lot of money! Wink).... Losses should be treated more easily! Today you lost your money - tomorrow you could earn it back!

Well, IEO/ICO have long outlived themselves! So I would not recommend anyone to invest in them!
IEO haven't long outlived themselves, it's still possible for OP to recover his fund if he can invest the remaining money in a IEO project from binance exchange or okex exchange and take his profit once the IEO is over or when trading starts
