The President of the Philippines is doing a wonderful job of eradicating drugs in his country. But I think killing of these drug sellers is totally unconstitutional and against the basic human right. He could at least arrest them and make a law stating that sellers and users of drugs in the country is tantamount to death. After the law is approved he can kill them all he wants because it will be Just and Constitutional.
They are going to return the death penalty in the Philippines. But how can you arrest a person if he refuse to be arrested instead they're firing a gun against the police. Many Filipinos believe in Duterte because of all the president he is the one who is willing to stop drugs in Philippines. If Duterte is going to reinstate the death penalty, then I am going to support him. It has been proven from the experience in many countries that the death penalty is an effective deterrent against violent crime, such as rape and murder. But it won't be very easy for him to reinstate it. The Catholic church is extremely strong in the Philippines, and they are going to oppose it. All of us scared to death penalty. We should also scared to death, we are afraid to death penalty. We cannot escape to death, but if we have been accused, but we did not do the case against us. |

Poverty will always force people to go for various short-cuts, and drug trafficking is a very interesting option. And when the risk gets higher, the returns also will get higher. For example, before the vigilante killings a drug smuggler may get paid $1,000 for a single delivery. He will now demand $10,000. That's true by giving free education and employment to the people it can reduce the poverty rate but in drugs it need more seriuos plan that can neutralize drug syndicate and can help the drug addicts to get out on addiction on drug. It is true, but we should know that, we should minimized the number of people who uses drugs. We know that drugs can affect our brain, then why we overuse drugs, it can lead to addiction.
