Thats not much proof ( if you read hebrew..I do.) Not a proof? it is the Isracoin dev telling us he is going to create a national coin in order to dump his coins and get rich. Ahem, the guy you are talking about is a 23 y/o kid who helped us form the FB group, since he was already discussing the general idea with about 100 people there, so we adopted the FB group. He also helped with some of the work with the media. The plan as it is laid out was not created by him, nor was the coin itself. Some people thought he was in charge of the project and were concerned, but he is not, in any way shape or form. He is not "the dev", has no access to anything nor control or influence. The devs are a group of people, all in their late 30's, experienced entrepreneurs, business people, engineers and social activists who are putting every possible effort into making Isracoin into a reality in Israel. As for someone who wrote above that many more coins were mined for the devs outside of the premine - that is just so ridiculous I don't even know where to begin. Ever hear of a blockchain? how about a block explorer? how about checking when premine ended and public mining started? seriously, there's a difference between being a troll and just being plain ridiculous (I'd use a different word, but trying to keep things polite). We are happy to accept constructive criticism and have taken seriously a lot of the comments, so perhaps that's a better way to communicate with us.

Is there any reason to believe Isracoin wont end up like Auroracoin / Mazracoin - what are its unique features? Anything special about the devs?
Auroracoin is still doing quite well, the others not so much. But don't forget this is a long term game. The isracoin airdrop is different as it targets business 1st and hopefully creates something to do with the coins once the population receives them. While this is not yet final in any way, one of the measures we are considering in order to reduce the likelihood of a flood of coins from the Airdrop, is to disburse the coins over a period of time and not as a one-time award. This is still under consideration and in no way a certainty, nor do we have any further details about it yet. But since the questions has been raised and is a valid point, we thought we should share our thinking process for now. Hope that helped answer the question.

so i was bored and also installed on my ancient pc p2pool node scanner http://isr-il.zapto.org:1967/it needs some design and logo will post it to GIT later Much appreciated! adding to resources. It would be awesome if you could add some mechanism that shows the user's ping times to all the nodes on the list. That could help in choosing the best node to connect to. Thanks!

A new p2pool node has opened: http://isr.minelite.co.in:1948/p2pools help secure the network - please spread the hash! the more secure the network is, the more value you get out of your mining.

Isracoin is calling all p2pool operators to establish ISR p2pool nodes. If you are a regular pool operator, we would love for you to take a look at our p2pool github repo which is fairly easy to setup and run. It's available at github.com/Israelcoin/isracoin-p2pool
Help increase Isracoin's network security!

What is was, actually, is a young guy who was helping us a lot with the launch in the media. About a month prior to joining in with us, he made some stupid comment on facebook and it came back to bite him in the ass. Which is fair. Some facebook trolls however blew it way out of proportion, which is far from fair, at least in the fashion they did it. to be clear - the guy is not in charge of anything in the project. (He's a kid - about 23 or so. The management of this project are seasoned entrepreneurs, engineers and social activists, all in their late 30's).
Hope this gives some clarity.

i really don't understand crypto currency world.. why would anyone buy coins ? only 50 block reward and 480 Million! premine do you think anyone will watch the blockchain and find the fraud ? even if they do. you can never know if the coins went to Israeli citizen/business or dumped in the exchange for BTC or LTC ... i don't think there are 2 million Israelis who knows how to manage a QT wallet..
Shai - First off, all the premine coins are there for everyone to see on the block explorer. They currently reside in blocks 1-6000. Once we consolidate them into their final wallets, commensurate with the plan phases, it will be much easier to see where every penny is. Secondly, the Israeli public will also be given mobile wallets (both for Android and iOS. we already have the android wallet and the iOS will be done in some fashion where apple cannot control it - i.e, a web wallet). These wallets will be made available by the time distribution to the public begins. The general public will not need to ever see a qt-wallet. You need to be very, very careful about your choice of words. Fraud is a very serious accusation to be thrown around like that. Internet trolls are not immune to liable anymore.
