sorry if this is a stupid question but i couldn't find the PoS interest rate at the moment. We are only PoS now, right? So what is the interest rate now and how will it change. thank you for the information!

Think it's 50% if not it'll be 50% pretty soon

50% a year???!

and how much coins will there be altogether? and how long will it take to get there?

- something like the vericoin feature to be able to buy anything you can buy with bitcoin with mintcoin.

What is the vericoin feature?

FYI: You already can buy anything you want with Mintcoin using Bongocoin.com

Bongocoin accepts Mintcoin for anything you want to buy, so you can buy anything online with it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZqjiHUPm0k

Order Form: https://bongocoin.com/order/

great site, haven't seen it before. but the feature i'm talking about is even better.

you can pay from the vericoin wallet directly to a btc address. so you just enter the bitcoin address and the amount of bitcoin you want to transfer and it automatically uses the vericoins in your wallet.

such feature would be nice. you don't need btc you stake your mintcoins and can purchase ANYTHING you can buy with bitcoin with your precious mintcoins. fast and simple.

so the (lazy lying) dev is gone let's throw together some ideas which could revive the coin.

- something like the vericoin feature to be able to buy anything you can buy with bitcoin with mintcoin.
- lightweight wallet with better gui, not the generic qt gui all the other coins already have
- android wallet (i donated 300k to it, so long nothing was released) what is the progress?

i had some flutter in the online wallet. now i cant access the page. is it down because of kidcoin? any chance i see my flutter again?
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FlutterCoin FLT Proof Of Transaction Cash Back for Sending & Recieving on: July 03, 2014, 09:54:27 PM
is there any way to check the fluttercoin code whether there is a hidden block in the code? If kidcoin could do it within the QTM code the possibility is he did it within fluttercoin, too.

He would have dumped long ago but he was here complaining about the price  Wink

yeah the whole story doesn't make a lot of sense to me. but it needs to be checked otherwise there is no future for the coin.

Guys are there any plans or 2-Factor Auth or Multisig for NEM? That could really be an advantage against NXT. A lot of people don't consider one long brain wallet password safe! Once it is hacked, all your coins are gone.

why was it that easy to fork the chain?  Huh isn't it dangerous?
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FlutterCoin FLT Proof Of Transaction Cash Back for Sending & Recieving on: June 21, 2014, 04:04:00 PM

you do realize that giving a couple FLT a day isn't going to tell people "oh, that must be a totally worthless coin" i mean there are faucets for EVERY coin, even BTC. Plus what is your opinion on all the twitter tipbot giveaways? totally useless?

Faucets are for people who don't know about fluttercoin and want to get to know it. Plus they might experience PoS through a faucet.

And it is really too much of an effort to try to scam coins from faucets because a faucet gives away only very little coins per day. Additionally every good faucet has securty measures like captchas and so on. Of course there are different ways to trick the security measures but it isn't really worth it. I'm not talking about giving away thousands FLT a day. Maybe 5-20.

We have a same idea but with different approach in terms of implementation. Smiley

i understand your concerns. But a lot of people aren't using BTT but twitter and so on. And if we want to approach new users a faucet is way easier. You don't have to register and so on. Even if you just wanna "scam" some free coins you might discover that flutter is quite awesome and stick with it. Plus more people would benefit from PoS if there are hundreds of faucet transaction per day.

You are still concerned that faucet isn't the right thing or was I able to convince you?

I'm not a fan of pure giveway rally - it share a tricky message : "We are generous" and "FLT is so worthless we can give it big time".

Fluttercoin is not Dogecoin.

Please don't help creating a worthless image for FLT !

If we wan't this coin to succeed, we should keep those 10 FLT to pay devs and promotion.  People will come when we will release new feature, when we will share information about PoT, etc.

Please register at www.fluttercointalk.com

PS: Oh and dont get me wrong, I do like to give to someone deserving it !  I'll be the first to give up to 50 000 FLT to pay for the video.

Guys I think Fluttercoin def needs a proper faucet. I contacted the developer of this wallet http://mintcoin.cyanrainbow.com/faucet

I use it for Mintcoin and it's really nice. The developer is willing to do a faucet but he needs some fluttercoins to fill the faucet. I don't have much but I'm willing to contribute 1000 FLT. Maybe together we can collect some FLT so that the developer can make this faucet.
And by using a faucet maybe some PoS coins will appear, who knows?

So what do you think. Anyone else is willing to contribute?

not trying to promote other coins but fluttercoin just released an "android wallet". they just use an app for accessing their online wallet. which is really sweet because you don't have to download the blockchain. and it's PoS able. and it can be accessed from any device (IOS, android,...).

that's what i had in mind. maybe the whole concept can be copied for mintcoin. but again i'm not a programmer.
