161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for a knowledgeable opinion about an ICO project on: April 22, 2019, 04:54:56 PM
Hi everyone,

like the topic title says I would appreciate if someone could take a quick look at the following project called LOVE Air Coffee.
Just for the record I am not associated with or promoting the project in any way. I have applied for their translation bounty a few minutes ago because the idea seems interesting to me and I will decide whether to go through with it also based on the feedback I receive here.

They claim to have invented a new air technique of roasting coffee which gives it a special flavour. I am not sure what to think about that and have asked to see real footage or video of their roaster. They said that they will make a video about their prototype soon. They have two youtube videos on their youtube channel but it doesn't show how the machine operates.

I value the opinions of many members here and if it is not too much to ask I would like to ask someone who knows a few things about new projects and ICOs what he thinks about this.

ANN - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5089494
I don't think this is a good ICO. Looking at their development team is not too prominent. At the same time this is a project that many people already do. So I think this ICO has no potential in the future. Think carefully before joining this ICO. I do not claim it is bad, but in my opinion it will not thrive

This is a good thing. There are many schools of large brands made for crypto development such as samsung ... This is also one of those programs. It will help the crypto market grow. At the same time, investors will see the potential of crypto. Success will come to all of us
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Keep the HYPE alive on: April 21, 2019, 05:47:03 PM
People talk about hype as if it's not good at all for investors, I'm here today to share my experience  about how crypto hype helped me reach out for more profits
1)Hype has driven me to put in more efforts in hunting for more profits, even in airdrops hunting I am able to make better profits from ordinary airdrops
2)Hype somehow erased the lazy feeling off my body and I'm now able to detect fake projects and put in more efforts spending hours on bounty projects to decide whether it's worth promoting or not.
Now I'm willing to open doors to all opportunities available, hype is whats giving me more hope so HPYE is not what we can escape from, in fact it's part of cryptopians
I think HYPE should only be in your mind. That means you hope you get more when you invest or join a project. If campaign or airdrops offer easy but profitable things, it's risky. That could be a scam. You need to be careful with such projects
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never buy too much coins because you would eventually forgot gosh on: April 21, 2019, 05:31:01 PM
So, as you guys know, most coins will do swap when they perform blockchain upgrades or changing the coins to to a new coin

I just forgot about one of my coins and the swap was ended in the 31st of December
and guess what?

I just lost 0.3 btc because of it
God damn this is so painful

Been holding the coins since 2 year ago in the ICO stage
Never make such mistake guys remember
poor u bro. I often have a logbook of essentials and check it daily. Although you may not have sold or bought some altcoins yet. But that will help you remember and not happen unfortunate losses. I used to lose a lot of money because I forgot them for a while. So the best way is to note them
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All you can do is hold your ALTs for a few years on: April 21, 2019, 05:14:20 PM
If you haven't already sold your ALTs simply hold if your project is decent. If the project has no future sell and buy into a decent project. This is all you can do to recover your loss without putting in more money. It will probably take a couple of years to recover your loss!

Some ALTs will never recover from this crash!

It is an ugly situation!
I think it is hard to be able to hold my alts for several years. Because it will make me not have money to do other things. So I think investing in potential alts will be better than hold. Because this brings hope you will have money to do many other things instead of just waiting for it to rise again. This is my personal opinion. I think trading day will be better for me and everyone. Because the crypto market is decentralized, volatility happens daily and we will get profit based on buying low and selling high. The hold strategy is not the best option.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Vs Trading on: April 21, 2019, 04:38:17 PM
2019 has been a year with mixed feelings for crypto enthusiasts. A lot of bounty hunters have now switched over to trading, because bounty is longer profitable.
Some that have combined the two (both bounty and trading), while larger percentage are still into bounty, despite not being profitable.
I envisage that in two to three years to this time, the population of people on bounty will reduce drastically, because it will no longer be profitable as it used to be.
bounty hunter is getting less and less because now there are very few good ICOs for them to work with. But the good news is that the market is recovering. So we have other things to do instead of just bounty. But I think bounty hunter will find many other ways to do it because some people are very afraid of risk, they want to work safer
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Know when to stop a HODL/HOLD on: April 21, 2019, 04:18:31 PM
Newbies can easily be influenced from what they hear from speculations.. I've read several times people tend to advice to hold long term. because its easy for them to say JUST HOLD cause theyre not the one losing! For me its not all about holding, its being smart about your own invesment know when to stop and cut the losses.

What are your thoughts?
the market is always changing. The decision to hold or sell is up to you. Catch the market and make the right decisions. That will bring you success. For newbie, they are not knowledgeable so they will follow experienced people. But don't care, learn and believe in yourself
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solutions to KYC complain of some Bounty Hunters on: April 21, 2019, 04:13:25 PM
Here are my solution to growing complained by the bounty hunters regarding KYC.

1. As we all know KYC by its definition. We all know that we aren't obliged to do so. Since no fiat or investment we did to get the tokens which solely the purpose of KYC to monitor the funds ans circulation of token during purchase. Don't comply and don't join bounty with KYC! Simple as that.

2. If youre afraid of KYC asked someone to do it for you and gave him funds in return. I think this is happening on some cases ( But this is form of cheating)

3. Read again step 1. If youre still have complain and still want to join that particular bounty and you are really a nutcracker!
I think real bounty campaigns often don't require KYC. I have joined many bounty campaigns and they only ask KYC when I continue round 2 or when they pay to me. So we have to find out before joining the project. Otherwise you will be cheated  easily
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to cash out perhaps ? on: April 03, 2019, 10:07:10 PM
This week has provided good signs already with a massive growth in value of bitcoin and other crypto currencies
Everyone is claiming bull run is here, Satoshi is back and so on but I think that’s greed setting in

I believe this is the time to cash out if you are in profit already
This depends on when you buy Bitcoin. If you already have enough profits and your investment strategy is short-term, withdraw your money. I have confidence that BTC will reach 6,000 and more, I will continue to hold BTC because the cow has just started running.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The worst story continues again. on: April 03, 2019, 09:41:00 PM
The value of top coins dropping badly again, the market is unstable everything seems to be complicated. The worst scenario of crypto continues again as most of them were believing that this time there will not any downfall but crypto market has different thoughts.
The bad script you said was over. Currently I see the green crypto market returning with bitcoin reaching nearly $ 5,300 and Ethereum of $ 177. I think you are too negative, keep positive beliefs with cypto and track the market recover its position.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Less price = more profit? on: April 03, 2019, 09:15:03 PM
Friends, does it make sense to take very cheap altcoins <$ 1? I think about buying, but I am interested in your opinion. Will they leave the market and exchanges, with such a strong fall?
Investing in altcoin <$ 1 doesn't cost you much money and risk is acceptable, this strategy is an opportunity for you to "buy low and sell high". Make the necessary research on the team, technology, .. of altcoin that you choose to invest and ensure that altcoin has a good future.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't quit investing on: April 01, 2019, 08:48:17 PM
The sowing season may not be a friendly and palatable season but every wise farmer knows it is the best season of opportunity to get prepared for the looming harvest. The present dip in crypto market is a fertile ground of opportunity for investors to lay hold on as many coins as possible at cheaper prices to store up for the bumper harvest that is imminent in the crypto market. This market dip is a blessing in disguise for me because it affords me the opportunity to buy coins which were before beyond my financial capacity. We must be determined not be distracted by the shout in the crypto market as regards the dip but rather focus on the great profit  we will get from the market .I will not quit investing because I don't want to stop harvesting. If we focus on the shout of the dip in market, we won't want to invest but if our focus is on the profit output from the market, then we will keep investing.

The objective of investors is to buy low and sell high. In my opinion, this is the perfect time to invest because the prices of all coins are at the lowest price, the opportunity to buy good coins with little money. The crypto market is gradually rising again after hitting the bottom.
173  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think should I buy for 1 year? on: April 01, 2019, 08:13:27 PM
After 3 months I will be in the army for a whole year. And I came to the conclusion that I need to buy something for $1000. This is not an important amount for me, but at the same time, I want to come home and with probability to raise this amount. I want to hear the opinion of experienced people, it will also be interesting to look at this topic in a year. Who advised what)

the safest and surest thing in crypto world is bitcoin.  just buy bitcoin with your $1000, and let it be for another 1-2 years.  i have very high faith that your 1000usd investment will be worth more than double that in 1-2 years.

If you plan to invest $ 1,000 in 1 year, you should start with coins from CMC's top 10 list. Top coins are always a long-term investment option. In my opinion, you should invest in eth because currently the price of eth is very low. Eth is a big altcoin in second place after btc and has good prospects. With eth, you will have more than $ 1,000 when you go home.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this a good idea? on: March 31, 2019, 03:09:19 PM
Is it a good idea in your opinion for me to wait for ethereum price to increase so I can sell it and move the money to more alt coins or should I just move the current amount of ethereum to other altcoins right now?  Undecided
Before you want to switch to another altcoin, research it. If altcoin you choose to have more potential than Eth and make sure that altcoin is more profitable than Eth, then move your money to it. I think it is better than waiting for Eth prices to rise, because it can happen for a long time
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency unpredictability on: March 31, 2019, 08:15:50 AM
Today’s event about ripple and Etherum has just shown to all that in crypto currency, prediction is not totally allowed neither is it the best resort.

We can only focus and do our research works
The risk is inevitable

hope I get more ideas from replies
Yes, electronic money is unpredictable. Because the nature of the electronic money market is extremely volatile. In addition, the price may be affected by external events and its degree of volatility is unpredictable.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hope for hodlers on: March 31, 2019, 07:29:16 AM
The electronic money market is recovering in 2019 after a sharp decline last year, this is hope for holders. We need to stay calm in this situation and give the market time to recover its position.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is crypto making the world go crazy? on: March 27, 2019, 08:12:15 PM
why people are crazy for crypto ,they leaving their job, they selling their house , selling their property?
because it's new, so some people don't understand it. Cryptocurrencies used to cost $ 1 but now the price has increased thousands of times. They believe in the rapid enrichment of crypto, but are not knowledgeable about the market and cannot control their emotions. That leads to unnecessary risks
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or XRP on: March 27, 2019, 07:41:01 PM
BTC supplies only 21 million, and now there are 3 or 4 million BTC in the system. even though there is a little more BTC, we will also find it difficult to get BTC. then, it will take a long time. 2024 or 2026 are predicted that BTC supplies will run out.

we have to think about the prospect of the crypto world in the future, until today BTC has a function to stabilize the crypto world, but what happened if supplies BTC runs out? is there another crypto that can stabilize and maintain the existence of the crypto market?

I think ETH or XRP will replace BTC. but my prediction XRP will dominate the market more than ETH, I doubt to ETH after the vitalik left from ETH. on the other hand, XRP always develops its platform every time.

how do you think, will the XRP replace BTC and has a very high value of $ 20K like BTC in 2017?
I don't think ETH and XRP can replace BTC.BTC's position as the beginning of existing currencies and all currencies still depend on the price of BTC. We can see that ethereum is second to bitcoin and if the price of bitcoin increases, ethereum prices will also rise.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you still hodling that shitcoin? on: March 27, 2019, 06:57:34 PM
There are some tokens in my ethereum wallet that have lost value to the extent I don't think they can ever recover even if the bull market starts tomorrow due to the level of competition in the altcoin market. I also bought some coins but can't remember the password or name of exchange i bought them on (thinking it was cryptopia) I didn't bother transferring it off the exchange and most of them were bought around 1satoshi.

Back to my ethereum wallet, each time I see those worthless token I just laugh and continue with what I login my wallet to do. If you ask me why I'm still holding does tokens in my wallet I can't give a reply. Why are you still holding those shitcoins sorry altcoin
I have a lot of shitcoins in my wallet but I don't sell it. Because now I can't make a profit by selling those shitcoins. So I would rather keep shitcoins and wait for one of them to rise in value one day.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to check if ICO is scam or not? on: March 27, 2019, 06:44:47 PM
Hey guys, I'm new to the whole ICO world, and BTCtalk as well. I've been reading about a lot of scammy ICOs that take people's money and run away. I'm looking to invest in a couple of ICOs but have no way of knowing if they are good or not. Can anyone tell me how I can go about doing this without losing any money?
To choose a potential ICO, you need to know the following information:
Website: Check how the website is designed? How is introduced.
Headquarters: Check which country ICO, location and information, if you can verify it, the better.
Team: Evaluate the team through the information introduced, check to see if they are actually implementing the project?
Whitepage: This is a documentary file detailing the ICO, the size of development, the way of calling capital, the direction of ICO, especially the products that ICO is developing. (Must read carefully)
