got a question for the hosted miners, are these actually our hardware that can ship out to us whenever we want and also is the hardware used to mine or do you guys purchase mining from leaserig or betarigs?
thanks
Hi, we can ship it to you anytime you wish, just let us know and it will be sent. The actual blade you purchase will be the one that's sent. We used outsourced hashing power to move all our existing customers to the blades ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Any news on "Double the hash"? It's already the 14th which means tomorrow it's the 15th ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Double the hash (Edit) moved date to April the 15th On April 15th, we will be running a one of a kind promotion Smiley
GAW Miners will double the profits of any miner you have purchased from us for 7 days! The miner must already be purchased us from us and can include a shipped or our hosted product.
More details are coming so stay tuned to this thread! Many customers are asking us to push it back while they get their blades in place. What do yo guys think?

Sounds good - thanks for the quick response.
The only downside is that a lot of rentals on Betarigs have been performing poorly lately. I rent 500MH+ a week from Betarigs, and I would say that at least 20-30% of my recent rentals have under-performed. If you call the rig owner out on the performance, they apologize and compensate with extra time, but my guess is they are counting on people not complaining.
For reference, I'm currently seeing 8.7-9.3MH/s on average from the rental GAW has running for me. Not that it is GAW's fault at all, and I definitely appreciate the effort to bring hashrate online for orders quickly -- just FYI. It would probably help to advertise the fact that you're using leased hashrate as a temporary measure so you 1) get credit for being so customer-focused, 2) don't get complaints about variation/under-performance/etc in hashrate.
Thanks for the feedback. We use over provision each customer, just to provide an even better experience. Please email at: support@gawminers.com if you need any help with your hash rate. Thanks!

GAW is using scrypt rentals from Betarigs.com to fill hosted blade orders currently. Is this just an effort to provide good customer service by bringing hosted hashrate online quickly, while allowing time for the real hardware to be setup? Is it a temporary stopgap measure because there were too many orders and not enough hardware on hand? Some other perfectly good explanation? It would be nice to know what's going on...
We are in process of migrating the majority of our hosted cloud to the new blades. As a result, we have to take hardware down, while we install the new blades. To insure customer have no down time, we occasionally lease hashing power (at our own expenses) from a few different locations. We will also sometimes use this extra power as a back to while we are preforming maintenance and upgrades. Transitioning the majority of our hosted customers to the blades has been challenging. Just this week, we will install over 500 blades just this week to both upgrade and provide new hosting. I will have some pics posted so you guys and see the process ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Hi Everybody, We apologize for the delay in shipment and for not clarifying sooner the recent issues we've had. Here is an update: We had over 100k dollars of orders that were fraud this week. The scammers used dozens of stolen credit cards to order hardware. Unfortunately, our credit merchants allowed the transactions to be processed. We've also had multiple chargebacks which we are currently dealing with. This is what tipped us off to the scammers. To protect ourselves and our honest customers, we have had to pause shipments as well as cancel suspicious orders. This is why there was a delay. We did attempt to reach out to all customers that had delayed orders and provide mining credits. We are sorry if we missed you when those calls took place. If you are of the few who have had their orders canceled by mistake (during our fraud purge), please email us directly with your phone # and order # at info@gawminers.com and we will call you immediately to resolve all issues. We strive to ensure that our customers receive the best service in the industry and nobody is left behind. For those who have had their shipments delayed, we will reimburse you for the downtime (missed mining time). In addition, we now have an advanced fraud detection system in place to prevent this from happening in the future. If you've had any other issues, please reach out to us through PM, email or phone and we will work with you as quickly as possible to resolve them. Thank you for your understanding and for believing in us. Team GAW

Hey guys, To continue to show our apprication to our existing customers. Anyone that bought a blade from us, before today's date, will get another one free ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) That is interesting, but doesn't reward the earliest supporters. If someone bought a 10 pack at $1695 (which were $1999 at the beginning when I bought them), then paid $499 to upgrade to a blade, they're paying $2195 for 5.2 MH/s. You're saying if a later customer bought a blade (which weren't available to the earliest buyers) for $2999, they get one free. That's $1499 for 5.2 MH/s, when the earliest purchasers (like myself) ended up paying $2195. I think their offer is very good already. They don't HAVE to offer an upgrade at all. They are a business after all, and want to make money. There has to be a cutting point somewhere, you can't expect upgrades without any extra cost forever. They could also have just given a discount for buying a new unit, instead of a pretty cheap upgrade. An upgrade is even more difficult for them, since it creates loads of second hand 5-chip miners. I can understand that, and do appreciate the upgrade option. It's just that their promise of "always rewarding those who trusted us first" doesn't add up. This time it's those that bought a blade first, after we (early purchasers) already helped to make a name for GAW, give them support, and aid in GAW's ability to offer blade discounts to newer customers. You didn't wait long enough for us to finish writing a new post ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) lol All existing customers looking to purchase a new blade will be able to purchase for 1399.95 today ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Wow, those price drops are huge. Did gridseed drop the prices? How is it possible to halve the price in a day? We became one of 4 authorized distributors in 2 weeks when our competitors had been at it for months. Simple put, we are their favorites ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

I ordered (#2027) the upgrade to a blade last night via bitcoin and have the receipt for it but you guys can't find my order?
I paid $999 for it last night and now the price is $499! What the hell?
Nobody is helping figure out where my $999 went even thought I have receipt for this order via GAW checkout process.
I would sure like some answers of what is going on???
My support ticket is #2852 with all my documentation for this order. Nobody has replied my ticket for the last 12 hours??
Your transaction did not show in our system until this morning. But don't worry, we will send back the 500 difference to your wallet. Please send an email to josh@gaw.com with your wallet address

Hi there,
Am considering between the 6.2MH and 15MH hosted offerings. How much is hosting after the first year? Also, how long is activation time upon payment? Many thanks
Cheers
Hi, We have no plans for charging after the first year. And we will have you online within an hour after your payment. Sometimes within a few minutes ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)
