161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do when price is dump?? on: June 23, 2020, 03:56:24 PM
The basic solution in times as this for traders is to Hold their/your capital in fiat or stable coin then wait patiently, then you get into the trade after there has been few more rekts or tokens has reached the bottom.

What do you think? Is it a smart move at this time?
As my experience, this question will be an entry in my first advice. If you don't invest in a huge bullrun then you don't need to worry about the price drop. Every coin has some demand in cryptocurrency, we need to wait until the fill this demand. We don't what will be the last correction price but wait for the exchange listed or volume on exchange.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Oikos a scam project or what??? on: June 23, 2020, 03:39:32 PM
no one knows for sure about the end of the Oikos project, but judging from the activity of the bounty and the Oikos project site is not a scam, you don't need to panic if there is an additional duration of time because there are many bounty projects like that.
There was no indication from oikos to be a scam project. The team has the right to extend the campaign as long as they were adding more reward to the participants.

Investors are still also actively asking the developer in telegram group too.
Any new projects has the right to extend bounty time with or without increasing bounty allocation. As Oikos bounty group news, we don't know yet the proper time to finish this bounty when we have already added an extra 8 weeks. If you remove the signature, your oldest stake will forfeit. After entering this signature, you can't remove the signature. Oikos is getting a huge success.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The success of IEO is Exchange on: June 19, 2020, 11:59:40 PM
The success of ICO lies in the hand of huge partnership support, huge investors and trust but since scammers canes around ICO trust was ruined but now what we have left is IEO, and I will keep repeating myself over and over for new projects that the success of an IEO is top exchanges, no matter how good your use case is, if you choose p2pb2b or vindax over Okex or binance just have it at the back of your mind that failure awaits you with 80% chance over 100%
I don't know why the YOUengine project is supported by this low volume exchange. But I still believe this project will be successful. I have a good experience just focusing on partnership and project plans. You know these 20 percent projects should have a good partnership and plan. You didn't follow your rules, YOUengine IEO list is Latoken and p2pb2b exchange. These exchanges are popular for fake volume.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the new cryptocurrency worth buying on: June 19, 2020, 11:52:49 PM
With the development of the economy, BTC is now gaining more and more attention, and it is not disappointed by the people who chose it. From being questioned at the beginning, to a large number of people investing now, it has become a popular investment product. I first learned that BTC was recommended to me by my friend W (who was the administrator of the Monetary Authority) at that time, and let me also invest, but I thought it was a hype May be cheated (this has become a big pity for me). Later, I started investing in 2013, when I bought 100 BTC and sold it at the price of 16,000 in 2017. Now my friend W has recommended a new cryptocurrency to me. Should I invest?
You friend won't suggest you a bad project. As history prediction your friend has some experience. But even though do your research based on your knowledge. Can you tell me new name, I could research on it. Although whatever your friend suggested, same situation can't be creat as created with Bitcoin.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good project since 2018 on: June 19, 2020, 11:46:08 PM
Bitcoin also gets through correction time, some good coins can't do it the same. In my knowledge, Tezos and crypto.com coins are on the top list. In these coin investments can give you high rewards. From my joined list, Harmony is the best project which can return you big benefits. From this year check CARTESI token, this coin is also good.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of altcoins? Don't you think who has too much for nothing? on: June 19, 2020, 11:30:42 PM
I think ERC 20 have good usage. Surely not all, but some like MANA, Enjin, KNC, BNB etc. have given good profits and at the same time helped in crypto adoption.

yes, ethereum network is the first network in the beginning from a lot of great project before the project run on its own chain
for example BNB
thats mean eth network is the first choice right ?
Enjin especially has a good future. In cryptocurrency only own coins can take good steps, when sometimes ERC-20 tokens are doing good. For privacy in new coins, investors want to invest in new coins not for using purposes.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETH better than BTC for payment? on: June 19, 2020, 11:08:39 PM
Very often we see people sugget to use ETH or any alternative coin for cheap and faster tx. I am going to share some information which will proof that it is no better. I may be wrong too, I am not an expert here. Just sharing what I have got.

BTC Avg. Block time- 10 minutes
ETH Avg. Block time- ~14 seconds (now)

So, ETH will get around 43 blocks = 1 BTC block

BTC block size- 1 MB (Let's say we use Legacy only)
ETH Block size- 20 to 30 kb (Let's say 25kb on average)

How much byte can both proceed within 10 minutes?
Both BTC and ETH will be able to proceed 1 MB tx data on average.

Is not both same in term of handling tx? Sometimes BTC is even better with segwit.
Just sharing some random thoughts, I am not expert technically. So, I may be wrong in many ways.
You can't compare a coin with the block size. I believe that you can't find any coins from the coinmarketcap that coins transaction speed slower than Bitcoin. Some top coins are already used for payment methods. Fast coins are always good for fast payment methods. Popularity is bigger than any other process. Ethereum isn't a privacy coin!
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ERC20 Wallet Address on: June 19, 2020, 09:56:16 PM
Hi,
Sorry I am new to the Crypto world.
Trying to find out more details on the ERC20 Wallet Address and how Do I get one.
Is the ERC20 Wallet Address the same as the Etherium wallet address which I can get on coinbase.com?

Thanks
You can get an Ethereum address from Coinbase app but this address is only for Ethereum send and receive. You have to use myetherwallet address to receive altcoins. Use myetherwallet website or apps to receive both Ethereum and altcoins. Metamask extension will help you to secure myetherwallet wallet. This isn't part of Altcoins discussion
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap's new feature - Chat on: June 18, 2020, 11:59:09 PM
I guess no one has noticed and posted this so, I'll be posting it.

I've noticed that there's a messenger icon beside the search box and it's the new feature they have released, the chat. It requires logging in so you can chat with specific communities for each coin. There are channels made already there and you can join for those channels that you hold the coin. I didn't noticed that it was already announced last June 11.

https://coinmarketcap.com/chat/

News: CoinMarketCap Launches Chat

You will become a scammer or will be rejected from the original group, if you don't ask proper questions in the telegram group. This feature will be great to about more details without getting problems from main projects. Sometimes we need more information than dev gives. But we should stay away from prediction of others.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies take my advice on: June 18, 2020, 09:42:35 PM
Fear of missing out is what pushed many into loan for crypto and sooner they get burnt, FOMO is very bad, I was caught in the trap myself which makes me lost some money that I haven't recover till this day, when it comes to crypto its better to use some affordable money to take risks
True, when it comes to crypto it is better to use an affordable amount of money to take risks, because basically everyone does not want to experience losing money in crypto, so don't be too greedy when using money for crypto, because when loss will feel very frustrating.
We should use affordable money but should be careful and think about this money only you have left. You will think twice before investing in any campaign. Borrow money only can invest experts. Newbie shouldn't follow any big amount even which money you afford to lose. Fomo chart will never help you to get the right information.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ethereum investment for future ?? on: June 17, 2020, 11:58:44 PM
Ethereum has all it takes to be taken for a future invesment. It has made plenty impact and building on the ladder to perfecting it stance. Governing the smart contract world hosting numerous projects means alot. New introduction will solve all issue and it will be at a new level.

It still depends on the investor. Not everyone can hold their investments long time because they need to cash out at some point. So if you ask yourself when it comes to crypto investments, it is better to invest what you can afford to lose or use your extra extra funds to invest with. So you are not in hot water when you badly need your funds. Eth is really a good platform but you need to weigh your priorities if you will opt to this investment.
When everyone is giving advice to invest extra money, at that time some people are making investments by borrowing money. Big investors never invest any money which money needs hardly. Whatever happens to cryptocurrency or Ethereum, don't be frustrated and wait for the right situation. Ethereum investment will be worth before launch Ethereum 2.0 which is on the beacon chain.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency will not replace fiat currency on: June 17, 2020, 10:45:33 PM
yes, although the purpose of bitcoin as a transaction tool is like a paper currency but it is unlikely that can happen. in fact, there are still many countries that do not recognize or do not support the presence of the crypto industry. on the other hand I think people prefer to use crypto only for investment tools. especially like BTC is a profitable investment.
We can't stop investment, who invest only in making profits. Like the internet was invented for a good reason but some people are using it for bad purposes. It doesn't mean that we're not using Bitcoin which purpose Bitcoin was invented. Different people always exist and these people will take some time to use in real cases.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying stablecoins with fiat in a decentralized way? on: June 17, 2020, 08:17:37 PM
Is there a way to buy cryptocurrency (particularly stablecoins such as DAI) with fiat money without using centralized exchanges or centralized parties (such as arbitrators, mediators, watchers) that is secure?

Something like LocalBitcoins but without needing a 3rd party when there is a dispute. The reason I ask is that even with these non-custodial peer to peer marketplaces, there is still a central point of failure that would bring down the entire market if it goes off line. For example, if the mediators fail to respond on Bisq, Bisq stops working in cases of disputes.
You can buy any coin stable coin or cryptocurrency with your fiat currency. When you use fiat currency, you are already in the centralized process. I don't know any decentralized processes to buy any stablecoin. You should use centralized process, more fiat currency will add in Binance. Recently Binance added 5 more fiat currency in Binance.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be nice to altcoins (meme I just made) on: June 15, 2020, 11:59:29 PM
Every altcoins, even Ethereum is following Bitcoin price. After changing Bitcoin price, every altcoins price changes, even fresh altcoins. From the whole coinmarketcap, Bitcoin has dominant over 65 percent. To become millionaires person Bitcoin can't help with low money, altcoins is also more risky than Bitcoin.  The top two coins won't change in 3 years, Chainlink and Vechain could enter the top 10 in a few years.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which trading platforms do you use? on: June 15, 2020, 11:46:29 PM
Buy trading platform do you mean for spot trading or for trading derivatives and futures or just an exchange. Personally my favourite exchanges are Binance and Kucoin then Idex for decentralized exchanges. Then you have KoinPro an undiscovered giant.
If you choose the two exchange sites, I think it is a very smart choice because both of them have a very good reputation and can provide a lot of profit because the price movement at this exchange is very fast.
For price movement, exchange can't do anything after listed exchange, top volume exchange is always faster than low volume exchanges. As a demand this exchange is being developed. Koinpro has a good reputation but still has an unpredictable future. Idex is a decentralized exchange but now this exchange is taking Mail so where is your privacy.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most trusted projects ruined me !! on: June 13, 2020, 09:05:20 PM
Late 2017 and early 2018 i was holding lots of coins and tokens from the ico's in that some i really trusted with solution and team (not only me most of crypto community trusted). Now this coins or token became nothing . But some projects i entered  to sell for small margin profit these projects given profit . So holding token or coin for long term is meaningless.
For the best opportunity you should wait. That time was the best time to sell your tokens. Long term hold isn't meaningless, holding time is meaningless. Why don't you buy any top coins then your thoughts will be charged. You can earn profits from any coin, if this coin now has a very good reputation in the coinmarketcap.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap or Coingecko? on: June 13, 2020, 06:03:44 PM
Actually, I don't compare this type of site. Whatever we do, we find something good on every site. I trust both but the coinmarketcap is looking gorgeous and reliable to me. Until the fake volume exchange situation, most of the people were using coinmarketcap sites.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Stay away from Vindax on: June 12, 2020, 11:40:31 PM
if you want to withdraw from Vindax you are only allow to insert two digit numbers after 0.xx , meaning every other sats after 0.**678889 belongs to indax after removing their high withdrawal fee, after all this I never received my coins
That's very sad. But still you have something to do. In this process you will have some money but still more than nothing. Convert 0.055 this Ethereum to any other coin which coin withdraw fee is very low. Then convert again into Ethereum in another exchange. I hope this process will help you.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Way To Make Money From Crypto In 2020? on: June 12, 2020, 11:19:42 PM
in my opinion the best way to make money in crypto is by trading mate
and this not only for this year, but in the past or and the future too
regards
All the time trading is good even from now on. By any mistakes if you started trading after quarter one of 2018, then you could lose 70-80 percent of your portfolio, but you could gain huge tokens. From now on cryptocurrency will go upward and from 2018 crypto was going downward.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Short suggestion and situation on: June 11, 2020, 11:59:31 PM
In a few times you can't learn everything about cryptocurrency. Give your full effort to understand everything or you will lose money. If you are interested in bounty work, then good. With this new account you can participate in social bounty and content creator. This isn't right section to help you but put your skills here to make better suggestions.
