Mac version plsx./ What are you suggesting instead of wizard? Angel ! We should ask Jessica Alba to make a cameo appearance during the install. Time for a poll

Ahh, that's why the reward is through the roof Really curious what's going on there. Everyone is mining uro so we should get less downward pressure from stupid multi pools who exchange for btc/ltc Lol, wtf. 700% in 2 hours. But multipools can really keep mining that. It's making up for the lost MN payments a little. Can someone here do me a favor can you upload the blocks and send me the link as iam unable to download the block source
Download the latest client, 9.11.6 or 10.11.6 (with darksend) No addnodes needed. I tried it out. Took about 8 seconds to connect, then 15 minutes to download the blockchain from scratch (no config file, no peers, nothing) Iam on 9.11.6 and stuck with the problem Winblows, CrackOS, or Linux? Windows 8.1 Remove peers.dat Removed but still the same Upload your debug.log for review. Can you also post screenshots of your Darkcoin appdata folder (contents of the darkcoin folder).

Try a darkcoin.conf with a bunch of addnode=[knowngoodsource] to help. It's a crutch, but it works. Really helps me since I force my client behind TOR. Not that it helps anon, but with buttloads of TOR traffic in and out of my IP, plenty gets lost in the mix... Someone else might be able to give you a list of good nodes to add. Or you could just look cuz it's mentioned almost every 10 pages... $ cat ~/.darkcoin/darkcoin.conf addnode=23.23.186.131 $
Not much in my local darkcoin.conf - But without it, I can't get a chain from behind TOR to save my life. As a note, you won't be restricted to that node, it's just a way to tell the client to "look THERE!" I currently have 5 active connections from behind horrible TORpipe. To get a list of nodes if you are running the wallet behind a TOR proxy you can use dig +short dnsseed.darkcoin.qa or nslookup dnsseed.darkcoin.qa

Wallets v9.11.6 (stable) and v10.11.6 were merged overnight and are now available for download.
Please update at your first convenience.

darkcoind for linux v.10.11.5 had 53 MB. The new one under 10MB. I did try to start it on the server and got a fault massage. Anything wrong or did i make something wrong ? I don't have a linux box handy, but the binary tgz alone is over 15MB. Did you compile from source or download binary? downloaded the binary What's the error message? Segmentation fault What Linux distribution? 64bit or 32bit? all i know the daemon is only running on 64bit 32bit daemon has been added in 0.10.11.6 on popular demand (see release notes)

Maybe store the actual wallets always in these folders to voin problems with update the masternodes. Thanks Distribution links have changed, now linking to tar.gz with both 32bit and 64bit binary.

Try to use wallet, i have this error mesage : ./darkcoin-qt ./darkcoin-qt: symbol lookup error: ./darkcoin-qt: undefined symbol: _ZN10QTextCodec11validCodecsEv
We experienced the same problem on centos with our own project. Upgrading the build process to use a newer qt4 for linux resolved the problem, we have swapped to qt-4.8.6 when gitian building. Why are you refering to a 3 month old post - is this a current issue?

I tried sending some Darkcoin but I keep getting this message: 'to use denominate you must have at least 11DRK with 1 confirmation' Why? Do you have at least 11 DRK in your wallet? No I don't but is that a requirement? Because that would be the first coin for which that applies. Are you using darksend or normal transaction? What wallet version?

Check your syntax carefully!
I understand what you're saying, like maybe I have a typo, correct? At this point my brain is so shaken up from trying to figure out how to mine crypto, each coin having unique requirements and me failing hard, I should just give up. Your average person will never get into crypto when everything is so discombobulated. This isn't a dis on dark, this is a dis on all cryptocurrencies. EDIT: I re-downloaded various shit, checked file paths, verified sanity, computed shatter to vape, calmed down, became flabbergasted again, and eventually ran Simple GPU Miner again and the magical dos cmd "black box" appeared once again. I have (had?) an IQ of 85, but maybe now 55, as cryptocurrency has killed me brain. You want next bitcoin? Simple. Create a coin that anyone can use, anyone can mine, and most users don't have to enter support requests or ask complicated questions. I have a feeling Bitcoin will figure this out before some miracle-altcoin-dev. I feel your pain, but i need to says: Default (cpu) mining is easy - in every coin It's getting complicated when it comes to GPU/FPGA/ASIC/QUANTUM mining - and yes: The next bitcoin should integrate a user friendly GUI for at least the most common mining tools

8 active connections right away. PERFECT, thank you! May I recommend the devs update web pages sooner than later to attract more noobs like me. Well, technically the 9.11.6/10.11.6 builds are not yet official as they're still waiting to be merged into the project's main code base. As soon as that happens we'll get all of the websites and the OP updated. Yep! So: Use at your own risk or wait for dev team to push it live!
