161  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ★★★Mobile RECHARGE ➫ ➬ ➫ 100+ Countries Accepted Here ➫ ➬ ➫ Lowest Rates ★★★ on: January 16, 2015, 01:17:49 PM
What is a 'recharge' exactly? Are you just topping up peoples balances or phone credit? How do you do this and do you do UK networks? What discount would I receive buying from you? Thanks.
162  Economy / Services / Re: Up to 0.035 BTC weekly for YOUR SIGNATURE *New rules on: January 16, 2015, 01:15:26 PM
This is my first time on the campaign but how do we know if we've been successfully accepted? Is the 'active' mean we're good to go? Thanks.
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The MOST COMPREHENSIVE LIST of potential Satoshi candidates on: January 12, 2015, 02:58:01 PM
3)
Group of above mention persons and/or others
NSA
Samsung/Toshiba/Nakamichi/Motorola

...Or none of the above. I wonder what the chances are of satoshi just being a nobody or complete unknown (or unknowns). Personally I hope he never gets outed because the mystique just makes bitcoin a little bit more mysterious.
164  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Looking for some feedback before using this Bitcoin Wallet on: January 01, 2015, 03:13:06 PM
Never heard of it, but I'd only use it if you're sure its legit, but I wouldnt keep any of my coins online in such a site personally.
165  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what happens when all bitcoins are mined? on: January 01, 2015, 03:09:21 PM
miners will continue to mine for tx fees
if you have noticed we pay a fees of 0.0001BTC when transfering bitcoin

but i don't think they can sustain maining with it, unless they have free electricity

Bitcoin price may be a lot higher then, or there may be be less and less miners (hence lower and lower difficulty).

That's true, but what if the cost of the electricity and miners outweighs the fees. If the fees are too much users wont pay them and bitcoin could become useless if its not cost effective.
166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No more purchasing BTC on: December 22, 2014, 01:35:28 PM
It depends of how much did you lose ? If you think long-term  I suppose we will see 1200 dollars / 1 btc , we have only to wait the next block reward halving. However I suggest you to hold yours btc and don't sell them, bitcoin wil be victorious  Cheesy.

What do you mean "we have only to wait the next block reward halving"Huh?
Im curious, what is it?

Im newbie by the way.

Thanks advance
and
God Bless!!!!!

The amount of coins that get made as a reward for the miners will half, so hoepfully it should push the price up due to supply and demmand, though it's not certain.

I don't see what the point is. They just seems like some kind of points system, though I don't know why people would actually buy them instead of keeping their fiat.
168  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you spending your Bitcoin? on: December 08, 2014, 05:17:53 PM
I've been scammed once. But I did not lost anything of mine beside my wasted time. Instead I did not get my promised payment.

That counts as being scammed.

I lost some small amounts when trying to sell alt coins on smaller exchanges. Beyond that, there was not much potential of me getting scammed.

True but the only thing you lost was time as you can't lose what you never had in the first place  Cheesy. Still annoying and frustrating for sure.
169  Other / Off-topic / Re: More dicks in your pussy will only make you a slut... on: December 08, 2014, 05:10:56 PM
simple answer..love and sex are different..

that's what I am trying to say here. Love is what free humans do, sex is what subhuman seeks. Or reformulated in polite term, love involved spirituality in physicality, sex involved only physicality by denying spirituality with consequences on both.

Shut up. Barely coherent trolling on the internet is what subhumans do. Sex is whatever you want it to be so stop judging people on what they consent to. I'm guessing you don't get a lot of women offering to have sex with you, right?
170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mozilla now accept BTC on: November 21, 2014, 06:50:48 PM
i was just getting use to using google chrome now i think i might just switch back to mozilla firefox again

I switched from Firefox to Chrome about a year ago. Just switched back last night. Chrome has a good interface and being synced across all devices is awesome but its obvious that Firefox cares much more about privacy than Google does.

I wouldn't trust anything google puts out. Chrome is nice and clean but I prefer Firefox all the way for several reasons.

i dont think the claims are true, sorry to burst the bubble.

If this was true, then the article will be super viral.. and cnn would be covering the story.

It's not true, but I don't think CNN is the barometer of true stories  Grin. They're mainstream media and don't cover plenty of other things that are true but are not public knowledge.
172  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Collecting from faucet is too slow on: November 21, 2014, 06:37:10 PM
Well if you haven't got any specific skills then you're screwed for offering services, but you could just try sell things on the marketplace. Everyone has stuff lying around the house that they could get rid of so try that.
173  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which Signature Campaign to Use? on: November 03, 2014, 01:00:11 PM
Sadly it looks like all or even most signature campaigns will be gone in a few months they are slowly dying off which is unfortunate I would of loved to get in on one.

There is no reason to believe that. They come and go, and I remember there being fewer and worse paid campaigns in the past. What is mostly gone is the pay per post model some followed.

Yeh this isn't really true. The campaigns will always come and go unless the forum bans them. I heard PrimeDice will probably be back with a new campaign soon anyway, though they'll probably limit it to seniors and above I think.
174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Spending Bitcoin? on: November 03, 2014, 12:50:13 PM
No, I'm not at the moment. I'd be losing  money if I was to spend it at the current price. I plan to start spending in the future if/when it recovers, though.

I would spend more if there were more ways to spend it.... I think that is the problem at the moment.

You mean besides gambling, buying almost anything you want and tipping?

It's not the same as spending it directly, though it's a start.
175  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How probable is it to make typo & send [BTC] to a wrong address? on: October 28, 2014, 08:44:02 AM
You should copy and paste addresses and always at least double if not tripple check. No idea who actually types out a btc address.
176  Other / Off-topic / Re: I fell in love with mechanical keyboards... on: October 27, 2014, 02:00:30 PM
I found one of these chunky old style keyboards in my attic the over day. I plugged it in and was surprised to find it still works. The sound they make does feel more reassuring and I seem to be able to type better with them too. They look very retro though, even the modern ones.
177  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is one method of 2FA safer than another? on: October 13, 2014, 11:30:16 AM
Is it better to receive a code via text?

Or is it safer to receive said code via the Google authenticator app?

Am I correct in believing that an email would be the least secure of the three?

Thanks.

I personally think a text is the most secure and an email is the least. Your email can easily be hacked into, whereas your phone number is pretty safe.
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apple is trying to eat our lunch on: October 13, 2014, 11:27:19 AM
They're two completely different things. OF course Applepay is going to be used more initially because it's can be easily used by everyone who's got a debit/credit card whereas bitcoin is a more niche thing, but I can see it taking a little while to gain traction.
179  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you had 0 BTC what would you buy? on: September 28, 2014, 12:14:06 PM
Congratulations of creating the most moronic thread in a sea of recently created moronic threads  Roll Eyes.
180  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Random 0.00001 BTC from Laxo Trade? on: September 28, 2014, 12:04:34 PM

There were many questions here and PMs about how I made so many addresses, so I figured I would write and share a Python program everyone can use to make addresses and use it to spam up the forum so Laxo trade sends their money where it can actually be spent.

Not a good idea to be telling people how to do this otherwise this forum will be full of newbs spamming up the place with addresses  Grin.
